Rai and the other staff were always friendly and spoke excellent English! The little pool/garden area was lovely and peaceful. My room was cleaned beautifully every day. The aircon was super quiet and worked really well. Nothing was too much trouble, including organising my laundry! It's also possible to leave your luggage at reception after checking out which was really convenient. This guesthouse is excellent value for money and very clean! It's my favourite guesthouse so far!

The wifi would randomly cut out at times which made video calls challenging. It was a good 20+ min walk to get to the main beach areas of Sanur and crossing that busy road was always a dice for my life! Sometimes other guests could be noisy and there were some dogs barking/crying at night (+ roosters) in the neighbourhood (not the guesthouse's fault though!) so I needed earplugs to sleep (but not unusual for Bali). I'm just nit-picking though because I really enjoyed my stay here!

The home is beautiful! Rai and his family are very cool and chill. It's better to stay here instead of downtown Sanur. The pool is exquisite and surrounded with beautiful plants!! Slot of people will comment on Rai's cool dog Jerry,, he is super cute. But a lesser known secret is that Rai owns a turtle!! If you stand by the fish tank he will eventually come to say hello if you don't make any sudden movements. I would definitely stay at this beautiful home again.

I've been coming to stay in senur for a long time now..even though rai house is a 15 minute walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk to the ferries.. My son deacan came and stayed for a week it was just divine.. u virtually get your own pool no kids..I'm still staying at rais house for another 18 days..the owner and his wife are just such beautiful people..I was not well there rai took me everywhere I needed to go to doctors and specialist..I give it 10 out of 10..kind regards shelley

There was nothing I didn't like

Large room, comfortable bed, nice small pool for cooling off or soaking feet, in quiet area. Breakfast available at inexpensive price. Room was cleaned daily while I was out. Nice friendly staff. About 10 minute walk to the beach. My initial stay was 5 nights but I stayed there other nights when traveling around the country. The host Rai was exceptional. He checked in with me regularly to see if I needed anything, because he wanted to be helpful, not because he wanted to sell a tour. He took me to immigration when needed to extend my visa, took me to a doctor when I was ill with a sinus infection, put more credit on my SIM card so I wouldn't have to walk to the store, and provided transports to/from the airport, ferry port, and other towns. He also told me the best place to exchange my excess local currency to USD on departure. He also informed me of a good local place for meals that was only a 5-minute walk away and ordered food to be delivered when I preferred to eat by the pool to going out. One of the best hosts I have had in my extensive travels. Not only was he very helpful, but he was personable and friendly, and I enjoyed talking with him about his life and country.

Very friendly hosts! Huge room, very clean on arrival, bathroom was massive! Towels and bedding all clean and soap provided. The garden area around the pool is gorgeous and very peaceful at night. Fruit and local snacks are left out for guest to enjoy and there was a flask of hot water available to make hot drinks too.

The kitchen wasn't clean and the shower was only warm when it was on a slow setting (not a huge issue). The aircon didn't work all that well either.

rai house is the most amazing place to stay..they r the most beautiful family, friends generous anything u want rai is right there..his wife is lovely the food is spectacular...it's a little village just near kfc senur..I would recommend this homestay to everyone it's beautiful and quite..I give it 10 out of 10

We stayed at this lovely guest house for one night and walked to the ferry from the accommodation within 15 minutes. Rai arranged a transfer from the airport for us too. It's a great location for getting across to the islands. The beds are very comfortable and clean, it's a shame we didn't stay longer.

Room and bathroom large and clean and air con fabulous… 5 minute walk to ferry office to go to islands… beautiful hosts and amazing breakfast that you pay very little for and freshly prepared. Pool very clean. Great view from upstairs of dawn breaking

Not a negative about the property itself but not extremely close to eateries

The best of all was our host, Rai. He is such a wonderful person, speaks very good English and helped us in everything. It is a homestay, so he lives there with his family too, but guests are kept in an another part of the house with direct access to the garden and the pool. Simple but comfortable room, all you need for a couple-day stay. Great breakfast!

Very clean, comfort, close to anywhere if you have a motorbike to stroll around Sanur. Friendly owner and staff and they provide breakfast with reasonable price. Spacious room and lots of flowers and plants around the rooms.
