Location, bar and restaurant at the front of the hotel, somewhr to sit and watch the world go by while chilling, having a cool drink. The staff really were just beautiful. I saw a rude disgruntled customer at reception and they managed it very well. The pool is devine, an oasis from the heat. I booked a pool.access room which just meant on grnd closet to pool. While it was noise, it is the best to access pool and bar and chill in own deck chair. Food and breakfast buffet all great, fresh water everyday in room. I had to change rooms but staff were just lovely about it.

A bit noisy hotel, being on grnd with people going past room. Club Stonewall music across rd goes till 2am... but I slept as was tired each day. 1st rm AC was leaking and fresh paint dripping on floor, I changed rooms. As a solo female traveller I'm conscious of being safe and privacy consider if taking grnd flr room. Shower head, taps a bit old need replacing. No fan in bathroom.

Their biggest asset is their staff. Everyone always have warm smiles on them. Spacious rooms with huge balconies. Breakfast spread was great!

Overall, the property was great. There were maintenance going on showing that they are keeping up well. But, my room drainage was poor and everytime we shower, it will flood the shower area and there were some water damages on the ceiling of our room.

Great location in Seminyak walking distance to many restaurants and shops, spas, and to Double Six beach. Loved the kids playground at the beach as well plus the free shuttle. Incredible & efficient staffs from check-in, housekeeping, room service, and security. We're extremely grateful with all the ladies staff at the restaurant - Desi, and all others. Everyone loved my 1 year old baby, and everyone treats all of our family members well. We had our wedding event in Nusa Dua but we spent the first two weeks in Seminyak at The Haven. All of our family & friends who travelled from afar would come to have breakfast and dinner at The Haven's restaurant - almost everyday! Great entertainment as well during dinner, and plenty of options for breakfast buffet. Rooms are clean daily, we had issue with the AC and they sent engineering to fix it quickly. Pools are all heaven throughout the property. We will definitely come back when we go to Bali again.

I liked that we were welcomed with Rosella tea. I really liked the included afternoon tea daily. I liked the Indonesian night on-site although we missed it due to flying out that evening but I could hear it as we were leaving. Breakfast was amazing every day and eggs made fresh to order. I liked that they have a Dr on site also which we needed to call on. Location was also great, not far from Double Six, Bintang supermarket, Circle K across the road and Pharmacy too! Men outside would also help you cross the street by stopping the traffic.. Thankyou for a wonderful first experience 🙏

My friends room the drain in shower kept smelling and they had 2 cockroaches but our room was fine

Location, value for money. I left my swimming goggles at the pool area and i told the staff and they found it and sent it to me @ jakarta.Walking distance to double six beach.

The breakfast variety could be improved. I stayed at the 2 br suites room and they have separate breakfast area for those who stayed at the suite room and still they charge if i want to have cappuccino for breakfast. The mineral water at the room was also chargeable if i want to have some more. Please provide more facilities and flexibilities for the guests who stayed @suite rooms. Please install hand shower at the bathroom as well.

The hotel is off the main shopping and eating streets in Seminyak. We arrived and left in the early hours of the morning and the staff was there ready to check in and out with a smile on their faces. When you walk into the lobby you look out over the pool which has lots of plants and trees around and the lighting in the evenings is very well done. The room was spacious and comfortable, massive bed, decent bathroom, comfy mattress and pillows. The service was 10/10 and the pool area was also 10/10. We had room service and food and drinks by the pool and everything we had was tasty and very reasonably priced. Overall it’s good value for money. We would definitely stay again.

Firstly, the staff around Haven make stays there, extremely pleasant. I include the breakfast staff, Sugi, Darma and the many others, as well as the friendly and efficient housekeeping teams, the pool attendants and the gardeners. I've stayed so often here that some have become friends. And Yasa, Sara and Pardite are always a pleasure to see again. Staff in Bali are probably the nicest of any of the many countries I've travelled around but those at Haven, around the hotel, are especially good. I stayed at Haven Suites, which is separate from the hotel. I did have an issue with one suite (at that price level,) but Adhi, the guest liaison agent soon resolved the issue. Not all places even try to do this, so I give a lot of credit to Haven for this fast resolution. The Suites are being refurbished and the one I was moved to was excellent. It's a very attractive building. The pool and pool area are very nice at the Suites and the water is always clean and the pool area and gardens immaculate.A super Koi Carp pond also. The breakfast is very good, with a wide choice and the staff there first rate. Haven Suites also has a quiet reception/lobby area and a more relaxed feel to the hotel. It really is a very relaxing place to spend time. I've had around 40-50 long trips to Bali and have often stayed at Haven. I would always look at Haven Suites as one of my most preferable options on future trips to that part of Bali. A big thank you to all of the staff I met during my latest 3 week stay there and a special thank you to Adhi.

Haven, unlike many places, is refurbishing and maintaining its buildings constantly. I do think a bit of attention is needed to ensure that rooms that are looking somewhat jaded, are done promptly, especially the suites, that have the premium rates. I did see a number of other reviews similarly written. For the most part, this is a superb resort and considering the ongoing refurbishments, will remain so. As a keen environmentalist, less disposable bathroom products would be good. Refillable glass shower gel and shampoo dispensers would be good. I've been diving around S E Asia for over 25 years so would love to see real steps to reduce plastic significantly.

It is what it is - a 4.5 star hotel. Beautiful big suites, staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was amazing. And the sneaky afternoon tea. Pool towels were great. For a hotel - very central and beautiful.So good rebooked while there.

Small annoyance - Every other accommodation in Bali gives filtered water supply - big dispensers or access to filtered water. Here a little bottle supplied is enough for brushing teeth / small use but you have to go to shops and buy water to have enough. Around the pools (for the size of the hotel ) not enough lounges. And not all Lounges have umbrellas were told they don't have enough.

I think the rooms could have been a little more spacious, however, the room size was still manageable.
