The family and staff hosting this stay are absolutely amazing, they are so friendly and helpful and could not do enough for us. They arranged our trips for us and even our ongoing ferry transport. I was poorly in one of our days with them and the family went out of their way to make sure I was ok, looked after me and made me porridge. We were there for Independence Day and we were invited to join in the celebrations, they even gave everyone presents! The kids and I will never forget this special day with them. The rooms are lovely and clean, the food is amazing and dinner is available if requested. The kids have enjoyed playing with the family’s children and Hope and we all agree that we would love to visit again! Thank you for an amazing experience!

We had a fantastic stay at the White Rose Guest House! The staff was incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was a real highlight, offering a choice between pancakes or various types of eggs, along with fruits, dessert, and unlimited toast—definitely more than enough, which isn’t always the case in Asia. Also they offer free water to reduce the plastic which we loved! The place is 10 minutes by foot from the beach. To the left side are many warungs which offer Indonesian food for cheap prices. It is a more local area. The room, though a bit small, was extremely clean, and the bed smelled wonderful, adding a touch of comfort that we really appreciated. We also loved the little terrace with a garden view, which, although shared with other guests, offered a cozy spot to relax. The WiFi was good. They also offer car and scooter rentals, making it easy to explore the area. For budget travelers, this place is the best you’ll find in the area. We’ll definitely be coming back!

These guys were such amazing hosts offering help with anything and everything from scooter rental, fixing my partners dress to days out. We could not have felt more at home here. The shared kitchen was a nice bonus and the food was always good. The bedroom was clean and the bed was comfortable, we stayed for 4 nights. The location is great for exploring the area by scooter, we did the coastline and even a long ride to the south no problem :)

Not their fault at all but there’s a loud karaoke bar close by that you can hear pretty late. Doesn’t disrupt sleep but not the nicest sound.

Great little place. Staff are always there if you need them but also not in your face, very good team and polite. The owners are on first name terms and have got it right. Breakfast is enough for your needs. There’s free refill for water and a fridge to help yourself with other cold drinks. Will do half day rental on scooters if you arrive late afternoon. They will also cook for you, if you don’t want to eat out. Trips are organised as well. Just turn up…..eat,sleep,chill and they will look after you. Thanks for a great stay guys!!

Nothing!! There’s nothing to complain about and if you do……there’s a Sheraton 20mins away which you obviously need :))

If I could give White Rose six stars, I would. I had a fantastic four-night stay at this accommodation. The property is clean, modern, and secure, with a large gate that is kept closed at all times. It is located on a quiet street, yet not too far from convenience stores, ATMs, and pharmacies. The stay includes breakfast, and lunch and dinner are available for purchase. The food is delicious, and for those who prefer a night in, Grab Food services the area as well. Abdul and Rei deserve special mention for their exceptional hospitality and kindness. White Rose offers pick-up and drop-off services from the ferry terminals and airport, and they can also assist with a number of tours. I enjoyed the 5-Gillis snorkeling tour, which was very well-priced. The property provides a kitchen for self-catering, a mini-bar service for alcohol and other drinks, and scooter hire if desired. The staff is friendly, always smiling, and goes out of their way to ensure that you are well taken care of. Wi-Fi is complimentary. I have no hesitation in recommending White Rose, and I certainly look forward to returning in the future.

Everything. It was a very warm welcome. The garden is like a little oasis. The rooms are clean, spacious enough and very comfy. You can sit in the garden and enjoy life. There is always someone around to talk to, either the staff or the someone from the family. Everyone makes you feel right at home. And that what it was. You come as a guest and you leave as friend. Rei is more than happy to take you with his car where you wanna go. You can book tours directly with them. They offer home cooked dinners and laundry service. And if (for what reason ever) you feel bored you will definitely find someone to join you for a boardgame or a round of UNO.

Such a nice place. Lovely owners, great breakfast and spacious room all for a very good price. The owners do everything to make your stay good. They organized a nice tour to the three gilis. They even helped us with transportation when we were in Kuta Lombok. They also have nice toys and playground for kids. Our kids had a great time playing with the owners kids. If you want, you can cook in their kitchen, but they can also make a very good dinner for you. Totally recommended.

The superb staff and services are beyond words. Abdul welcomed us on our arrival with a big smile, offered us refreshing drinks on a warm afternoon, clearly explained the housekeeping rules, and very kindly carried our heavy bags upstairs. Stefanie, the owner of the guesthouse, then offered us some local snacks before we went on our hunt for dinner. We couldn't thank Rei, our driver, enough for taking care of us throughout our stay. He took into account my parents' age, capability and safety when recommending the Gili tours for us - instead of the most expensive 5 Gili tour, which he explained would be too physically demanding for them, he suggested the 3 Gili tour, which we all enjoyed very much. He speaks good English and is very funny. He also considerately played some Chinese music in the car for my non-English-speaking parents when driving us around. When I was out of cash, he lent me some without asking for a receipt. The sweetest thing was that he invited us to a family birthday party, where we enjoyed a yummy local hotpot meal and a wonderful night. We really appreciate the love they gave us!🧡 The house itself is such a lovely compound with beautiful plants in the yard and cute English decorations Stefanie put everywhere. Our family room was spacious, bright and clean, with air-conditioning and a big bathroom. The beds were very comfortable, and the bespoke towels were a personal touch of the owner. We also had a huge balcony with a relaxing overview of the yard. They put up several WiFi extenders around the house to ensure excellent WiFi signals everywhere. As many other guests have commented, the guesthouse offers unlimited free water, milk and tropical juices in the fridge in the dining room, and the continental breakfast (help-yourself toasties, 2 eggs, pancake/cakes and fruits) was simple but balanced and delicious. White Rose was of incredible value for money and was our favourite accommodation in Indonesia.

The guesthouse was not near Mataram, the capital of Senggigi, so it took a bit longer for our bus from the airport to get there. There didn't seem to be many shops or any supermarkets around the guesthouse. Also, it was slightly off the main road, so the bus couldn't stop right in the front and we had to walk a little bit. However, arriving by taxi won't be a problem. Another thing is they accept cards for the rent and other costs, but there's a surcharge (which seems to be common in Indonesia), and the nearest ATM wasn't really near.

The staff was really nice, and they made the guest house more sociable by presenting guests to each other. I was there during Ramadan and Eid Mubarak and the day before Eid Mubarak there was a parade, a celebration, and Rey actually gathered all the guest and invited us to go see it. Good ambience in the guest house.

Location was a bit far from anything but you can rent a scooter there. I wouldn’t buy fast boat tickets there, it’s way cheaper to buy them on 12GoAsia. Also the WiFi wasn’t the most reliable.

I’ve never felt the need to leave a review before, but this stay was too perfect not to. The room was the cleanest I’ve ever seen, the family was incredibly kind and welcoming and breakfast was always fresh and delicious. They went above and beyond to help us with anything, even without asking, and renting a scooter trough them was really convenient. If you’re unsure about booking, don’t hesitate - you won’t regret it!
