This is a wonderful place located in the heart of the island. It’s surrounded by jungle, with a beautiful view from the terrace by the pool. The food is delicious and the staff is incredibly kind. People here are always welcoming, smiling, and ready to help with absolutely everything. I want to thank all the staff for a wonderful holiday. I especially want to thank my driver, whose name is Wayan. He wasn’t just my driver — he was a guide, translator, and photographer. He treated me to local food and fruit. He will always remain my friend, because without him I wouldn’t have seen so many beautiful places on the island. He also always gave me great recommendations on which restaurants to visit, where to buy fruit, and showed me how local people really live. He explained so many things about the culture and traditions of the island. He is responsible, kind, and always smiling. I sincerely recommend using his services — you won’t regret it. You’re not just getting a driver, but a helper and local friend who has lived on the island his whole life.

I stayed for a week in the beautiful Mirah guest house and it couldn't have been better. The owner and staff were so friendly and kind, always helping to make life easier and I had good chats with them about the local area. I booked all the activities I did, from hiking to cooking classes, through the guest house which made it so easy to get around. It's a nice quiet area and I just walked around to see some of the closer temples and waterfalls too. Close to rice terraces as well. They have a restaurant at the guest house and the food was so delicious and such a good price. There are different options for breakfast too, which you can eat overlooking the rainforest, beautiful! In fact the whole garden area and around the pool was such a nice place to relax. Even though it is a little bit outside of Ubud, this place has everything you need for a relaxing and even adventurous stay and it's very easy to get around with a scooter or Grab/taxi (you can hire a scooter from the property too). The room itself was lovely, clean, with a comfortable bed and had air-conditioning too. Can't recommend it enough and I hope to come back one day soon! Thankyou again!

The location was perfect - fully immersed in an authentic Balinese village, perfect. Easy to get to waterfalls, temples galore,coffee plantations and local markets - go early or you’ll miss all the action and wonderful fresh fruit and veg. The Guest House - is very traditional with the family quarters at the front giving you a full experience of a Hindu family residence. As you meander through you are exposed to Balinese paradise, which goes on and on. The buildings, the infinity pool and jungle are stunning and it’s beauty beyond belief. The accommodation itself was top class, the room was spacious, scrupulously clean and beautifully presented. The bathroom had a slight outside feel to it although fully covered. The breakfast’s were delicious and freshly cooked the day and evening menu were also mouth watering & freshly cooked. The staff - Nyoman and his family and all the staff made us feel so welcome and by the end of our week we felt part of the family. We used a day driver and hired scooters to get about. The guest driver, Wayan was the loveliest man, he tendered a whole day experience for us

It’s a paradise for those seeking to escape the vibrant city and reconnect with nature - and with themselves. The place perfectly blends Balinese traditions with the beauty of the nature. I loved that the accommodation wasn’t deep in the jungle, but right next to it, which made me feel safe as a solo traveler. The property is very well maintained, especially the gardens - thanks to the care and attention of the owner. By the way, the owner is very welcoming and always open to interesting discussions.

The only little concern - was the morning noise from the kitchen, as my main intention was to enjoy the silence.

I booked the Jepun cottage with private pool an I must say the view is sensational - you literally can see the jungle from your bed - I felt very privileged. The level of cleanlinesses is top- notch, mattress and sheets are wonderful, everything was sooo fresh and clean it felt amazing. Staff are extremely nice and helpful, like all Balinese people, special thanks to Ayra who went above and beyond to make sure my stay was good. Breakfast is also nice and they offer the option of BAlinese breakfast which I enjoyed very much.

It is a bit far from the city center so it can take a while to get to the fancy central restaurants. There are not many dining options in the area so that is also quite tricky. In the morning the nature wakes up earlier than me so often birds started to sing but you are in nature so it is totally normal. If you want to enjoy time in nature and a very nice accommodation far from the crowds, this is the perfect place

The hotel is really nice, the bedrooms are super comfortable and clean, and the beautiful view of the forest in front is just amazing. The swimming pool is also great and it has a very nice view of nature. Also, the food they offer is really delicious at affordable prices. The traditional Balinese floating breakfast is just spectacular! It was a whole experience to have it while enjoying the sounds of nature. The staff are very friendly and helpful and they even help us arrange private transportation to another location in Bali.

It is a bit far from Ubud but I still liked the quiet location. Also, when I was there, I saw they have a wild eagle inside a cage. The owner told me they were trying to help it cause it has a broken wing, so they will release it once it is recovered. I really hope this is true because having an eagle inside a cage should not be permitted unless they want to give it to the wildlife authority for its proper recovery and release into its natural habitat. Also, they have a dog inside a cage as well, so I also hope they do let the dog free to run and have a normal dog life.

Beautiful place, kind and helpful staff and amazing value for money! Stay here!!! Our stay was beautiful start to finish the staff went above and beyond in every single aspect. You are able to choose where to have your breakfast which was absolutely delicious! I was worried about getting Bali belly in Indonesia but we ate and drank at this hotel all week and were absolutely fine. The staff were so conscious that as tourists we cannot drink the water and brought us bottled water with every meal and to our room. Pool is divine and whole place was so quiet the whole time with sounds of the jungle. I would only ever leave an honest review and can honestly say one of our favourite places we have ever stayed. Super close to huge waterfall and you can hire scooters at the hotel if you’re feeling brave! The WiFi was better than our wifi at home lol so perfect for people who are working too which my husband was. My partner had a massage here which he absolutely loved and we also did the floating breakfast one day which was incredible too. THANKS for an incredible stay guys bless you all.

Great place, it looks better in reality than in the pictures. Incredibly polite and helpful staff, who helped organize a unique evening event with a dance show and a candlelight cake with 8 wonderful decorations. The view from the terrace to the jungle is stunning. Fireflies flying in the evenings seen from the terrace. Delicious food, excellent location away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud. Very nice hosts, who personally take care of the level of service on site. I highly recommend!

Such a quiet and beautiful place with very nice and kind staff! Just amazing! Jungle view at the terace for breakfast, very delicious dinner and different breakfast options, laundry service, help with any recommendations or needs such as private driver. Room service and water every day. 30 min to ubud, 5 min to tengalalang,10 min to tirta empul tempel.

The pool is colder than expected, but it's a nice refreshment. We had the smallest bungalow with only 15 qm, which was quiet tiny for 2 adults and 1 baby. But we got the option then to move to the bigger one the next day. They are really beautiful and have enough space.

The hotel is built with a fantastic taste. It gave us both the comfort and the authenticity of Bali. The staff was super nice and helpful. It has an amazing terrace where we had breakfast every day with a forest view. Since it is Bali we are talking about, some bugs and insects can be seen normally but it is not because of the hotel but the nature of the island. The staff is also sensitive and helpful in case of a situation like this.

We wanted to go to the mountain Batur for trekking and the price they offered was higher than what we found. The bike rental price was the same but if you want to go to a tour, you may want to check Ubud central with other tour agencies.
