The swimming pool overlooking the sea is amazing Coffees are good and staff were friendly. Gardens are peaceful and well kept The diving was spectacular. The equipment was good and the staff friendly and helpful. The house reef is great for diving. Staff was particularly good when we needed some medical assistance and they jumped into action.

Substandard food for a luxury Balinese hotel - the menu choice was dull and the quality of food well below expectation. No entertainment at all e.g. traditional dancing etc., the hotel is quiet and lacks atmosphere e.g. no background music at the pool or anywhere else. Some people like this of course, but we would have enjoyed a bit more entertainment and the local town of Tulamben has little to offer by way of eateries or entertainment.

One of the most memorable parts of the stay is the sunrise yoga. The food at the restaurant didn’t quite meet my expectations. As a local, I was hoping for bold, vibrant flavors, but the taste leaned more towards a Western palate, even for the local dishes. I tried both lunch and dinner, but the flavors felt muted compared to authentic Balinese cuisine.

Room, pool etc are all beautiful. It is serene and all you can hear are the waves and the sound of birds

I knew before I booked it was fairly isolated but I think the hotel should offer better options to go into amed, perhaps a free shuttle. Only other criticism was I found the food a bit disappointing. The indonesian food is good, but the western food was poor. Considering your options are only to eat in the restaurant I hope this improves.

The entire resort is beautifully designed. The bungalows are very comfortable. The daily free yoga classes were amazing. There are turtles you can see snorkeling at the housereef. The dive centre staff, especially the local guys did deliver an amazing service.

It’s one of the few resorts that didn’t have a kids menu, so if your kid is a picky eater it’s difficult. In general the restaurant food is ok, but we had better local food elsewhere. It’s not the property fault as they are really trying to be sustainable, but at some days there is really a lot of plastic floating at the housereef. Unfortunately this is a big problem you can find all around Bali, Indonesia, SEA….

Beautiful resort, and tranquility is the word to describe it. Peaceful and relaxing vibe. We absolutely loved it. The staff are very friendly. The food is good and wide choice of dishes as well as being reasonably priced. My room was comfortable, spacious and the patio is the perfect place to relax after a dive. Bathroom open air is fab. The gardens are very well cared for, with flowering frangipani and other trees and shrubs. There is a well organised dive centre (although diving doesn’t seem to be the main focus for guests with only 2 regular dives a day). The yoga sessions are also twice a day and very popular especially as the pavilion is set up for sunset and sunrise.

The fact we only spent 5 nights!! And - being picky - the coffee (room, breakfast, cafe) could be better.

Beautiful resort with infinite pool right be the sea with great bar. Pretty and comfy bungalows with air con.

Prices within the resort about double (if not more) to everything outside the resort. Quality of food (flavour) did not match the prices.

it was already my second stay and my mother and I enjoyed it very much! The ocean, the beauty of the resort, the friendly people, the food – it's a little paradise! And if you consider a diving course - this is the place to do it! But also "only" swimming or relaxing or as a place from where you do other activities, it is just the right place. Especially the yoga classes (which are free) right at the ocean are a bliss! Thank you, suksuma!

All was perfect. Resort is very clean, all details are perfect. Food is fresh and delicious. The swimming pool is clean and deep. The coral reef is nice. The diving school is well organized. All equipment is double checked. Very safe . This resort is very quiet and real getaway. The resort is good for adults . Deep beautiful sea and deep swimming pool - perfect place to enjoy the beautiful nature , snorkeling and diving .

Everything was just incredible. Dinners were delicious. Room very comfy, staff were amazing. The spa was wonderful, snorkling was magical. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Honestly there was nothing to complain about regarding the stay. The only downside is it's quite far from anything so tours spend a lot of time driving, but we had a great driver so that was a silver lining.

If you are looking for a quiet, perfectly maintained resort, then look no further. It is a perfect ' base camp' for your diving adventures, as the east coast contains some scenic diving spots. The offering of complimentary yoga lessons is a nice feature since the lessons are taught by a professional and you can tag along whenever you feel like. The infinite swimming pool is clean and large, which gives you space to ponder and stare at the ocean. The food is well prepared and there is a lot to choose from too. Cocktails are well prepared and you can tell that every single staff member is adequately trained in hospitality. Mind you that this place is located in a quiet village, so besides warungs, there is not much to to do. So make sure you book a tour at the reception once in a while. Or just do absolutely nothing, order a coconut at the pool and enjoy the view :) p.s.: If I give a 10 rating to a place, it means that I have quit my job and decided to live there :)
