Spotlessly clean, gorgeous room with sea view and enormous balcony. Staff were very helpful. Used Dive Centre connected to hotel for Discovery dive too and highly recommend.

Not an issue for me but be mindful that there are a lot of steps to the reception and restaurant and rooms due to it being built on the hillside.

Not a negative but something to be aware of - you need to get transport (or hire your own scooter) to get to Amed beach/Jemeluk bay. The accomodation is helpful at arranging this, but it’s more expensive than you’d expect in the bigger centres.

Two lovely pools with plenty of lounge chairs. There was a very good on site spa and dive center. They could book snorkeling trips and transportation. The meals were very good. Room had ocean view. They are environmentally responsible and don’t use plastic! Refillable pitcher of chilled water in the fridge in your room. Personal water bottles can be filled at the bar.

Great location overlooking the ocean . Felt very relaxed . We booked 2 one bedroom apartments which gave us extra space . The 20 year olds had separate accommodation , we were close to each other . 2 pools you can use which everyone uses and found plenty of sun beds to relax by the pool . If you are here for diving .. plus learning to dive they do well at this

Great if you are here for diving , when asked about snorkeling ( as we were a group of 7 ) 3 of us were snorkeling .. only basic information given by the resort they were not really interested. We found people who took you out on boats at the ocean side of the resort , they were great , not part of the resort

We stayed 4 nights at Puri Wirata Dive Resort and Spa in Amed. For a 3-star hotel, it has a lot to offer. Our bungalow was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was large and clean. The hotel is located right by the sea, offering a stunning view of the sunrise (at least in july). The beach isn’t sandy, but it’s beautiful. Just swimming 30–40 meters from the shore, the area is full of coral reefs, colorful fish, and turtles. One day, we rented a boat and visited other locations to see the Japanese wreck ship, an underwater temple, and the turtle area. It was absolutely stunning. There are sunbeds by the pool with the sea right under your feet, making it perfect to relax and enjoy a swim in either the sea or the pool.

Breakfast options were extremely limited, especially if you stay longer than a couple of days. The restaurant food was good but with a limited menu, though there are plenty of other restaurants nearby. They don’t serve bottled water here; instead, they filter their own water which is served at the table. Several times, we couldn’t get beach towels because they had run out. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good food at very reasonable prices at the restaurant. Free morning breakfast was better than expected although the (free) coffee was just ok. Two excellent pools with the added bonus of an easy access snorkeling area adjacent to the hotel. Very attractive location and grounds. No mozzies in the room. Some good restaurants within walking distance. Quiet and very relaxing.

Electric room kettle had a cord that was way too short. Not easy to get a car to go for a meal or to a beach more than walking distance from the hotel. Guests leaving towels on pool chairs to "book"their use and the leaving the pool area for extended periods.

We pretty much loved everything! The views were spectacular, we had a one bedroom apartment/villa over looking the ocean and one of the pools. The included breakfast was exactly what we needed. The staff are so very nice, accomodating, pleasant and kind. We were there during the off season so there were very few guests. Even though it was the rainy season, we really enjoyed the weather, there is plenty of cover to shelter from the rain and watch the spectacular thunderstorms. The menu on offer for lunch and dinner is varied and the food is very good overall. Excellent value for money. My husband went on a few dives with the dive shop attached. They were very well organised, very friendly and accommodating. Although the beach is narrow, black rock, if you come prepared with beach/water shoes it’s a nice swim and you can go snorkelling. Great base for cultural tours. There’s a small supermarket and pharmacy just outside the resort to the left. The on site spa offers wonderful massage services with a beautiful selection of oils to choose from. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. I can recommend this resort highly enough, I have left a small piece of my heart here.

The bed was really hard. There are so many steps due to the resort being built into the cliff side which can be annoying but also adds to the beauty of the property. If you rely on a wheelchair or walking aids, or if you have mobility issues or blown knees, this is not the place for you. You need transport to get to anywhere, the hotel easily organises lifts, there are always local drivers around to take you back.

The room was very spacious and included a mini fridge and tv to watch Netflix on. The view from our room was very pretty and the snorkelling right in front of the hotel was great! Our snorkelling and fishing boat guides were also able to drop us off right on the beachfront of the hotel which was very convenient. The main appeal of this place is if you’re interested in diving, snorkelling, or fishing. Otherwise there isn’t much to do nearby. The rooms are a bit outdated but overall good value for money.

Unfortunately the bed was very soft and uncomfortable. The location is far away from many restaurants or cafes (besides one local nice Italian restaurant which I’d recommend). The power and water in the room were turned off multiple times during our stay. This is a bit of a bummer after coming back from an ocean swim and wanting to have a shower and turn on the AC to cool down. I’m not sure if this was happening due to nearby construction at the time, but there was no communication or apology about these blackouts from the staff. The included breakfast was just okay and there were many flies in the dining area.

Amazing location right on the water. We enjoyed sitting on the sun loungers looking over the beach and swimming in the pool. You can hire snorkelling gear and we saw all sorts of tropical fish, coral and even a turtle straight out from the property. Room was super spacious and had a large balcony overlooking the water. Staff were helping in organising transport and our hike to Mount Agung. Would stay again!
