Location: The location of the property is quite central with restaurants and bars, and very close to the beach. The grocery store is 3-4 mins walking and pharmacy is 8 mins walking. Property/Facilities: The property is nice and well kept. Both the backyard with the pool area, the lobby and the restaurant/bar are nice and clean. The rooms look quite new and were better than expected. It is provided with a small refrigerator, a small storage space, regular towels and additional beach towels, a kettle, drinking water, shampoo, body wash, and nice pressure in the shower. The air condition (AC) was also good with a fan that did not make much noise. Breakfast: The breakfast was better than expected, with eggs, rice or pancake, fruit and coffee/tea included. The staff: The staff were very friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcomed. They can also help with diving/snorkeling, scooter rental, transportation to Gili islands and more. Noise: Some of the neighbours have roosters (grown, male chickens) that make some noise in the morning and during the day, but inside the room we didn’t notice them. Other than that the property is mainly quiet even though it is centrally located. Summary: Better than expected! We had a great stay at Kura Kura Divers Lodge and our overall experience was very good. Based on the price we believe this is a place you really get quality and good value for the money. :-D

Only minor things: - The AC was good, but there was no regular fan in the ceiling. - No hair dryer in the bathroom - There was a kettle and cups in the room, but no tea or coffee. - No description of how the safe worked.

Kurs Kura Divers Lodge was awesome. We had stood in several hotels during our Bali trip, but this was the hotel with the best pool. About 3 meters deep, perfect for learning to dive and extremely clean. The restaurant was nice with good food and you could play table football and Billiard without any further costs. My daughter made her Advanced Open Water Diver during our stay in the divers lodge within two days. The dive instructors Julie and Ben are very kind and helpful. There was no stress at all. The dive spots are very close with astonishing maritime life. The area around Amed is completely different to Kuta or Ubud. It is more relaxed, like Bali was 20 years ago. We liked that. If we come back to Bali next year, we will for sure stay again in Kura Kura Divers Lodge.

The property was very well maintained. The room was without a blemish, very clean and modern. Aircon worked perfectly, balcony with seating, clothes airer and a nice view of the pool. We were pleased to be able to have our little dog with us and we were given the use of a free cot for our son. The free breakfast was great, would be even better if they had some alternative milks as I can’t drink dairy milk. We also had dinner in the restaurant and found it helpful the various games available to occupy our son. The only things for improvement I would note would be getting in Oat, almond or soy milk as an alternative option for patrons. 2 bottles of drinking water in the fridge in the rooms would be great along with disposable toothbrush’s. The reception staff could be a little happier/ smile more although they weren’t rude at all. Just something we noticed. Overall very pleased with our stay, we will recommend the hotel to friends.

We loved the property

We really enjoyed our stay at Kura Kura Divers Lodge and stayed 1 night longer than initially planned. Because of that we had to change the room. The first one, at the grand floor just next to the swimming pool was better because of the view from the terrace and feeling because of that. The second one was on the first floor in the corner. The view there wasn't that great which made it not that pleasant to spend evenings there. The stuff is really nice and helpful there. Breakfast is really good and delicious as for indonesian's standards. Location is great, close to the restaurants so you can easily go out in the evenings.

We enjoyed our stay here! It's in a great location - walking distance to beach, restaurants, shops, stores, etc. Really strong/good AC and WiFi. Hot water in the shower which is nice! The room is spacious and has lots of outlets, lights, and room. I liked how they have a drying rack for our wet clothes. The staff were tremendously helpful and SO kind! They offered to pick us up for free and drop us off somewhere which I REALLY appreciated!! The staff were all just so accommodating, helpful, friendly, and just amazing! They all went above and beyond! And even waited for me when they picked me up because I was late and there was a miscommunication on the pick up time (totally my fault). They have free water, a pool - which looked really nice (I didn't get in) but a lot of people were relaxing/in the pool. It's not too crowded though. The rooms are a bit further from the main street so I didn't hear any street noise which was nice. I ended up at a different dive shop (before I stayed here and knew about this) or else I would have went diving here! They were super nice and looked professional. I highly recommend doing activities/diving with them - I believe you get discounts on their activities if you stay there. The prices looked the best from what I saw and they offer a lot of different activities which is nice. I only stayed here for 1 night but I did enjoy it and wish we had another night to stay (but we had to go to our next location)! I was previously staying near Lipah beach and felt that was too far from everything. I liked this location and being able to walk everywhere. The place was clean too - no stains on sheets (which is a common thing in Bali lol), towels clean, pool towels provided, water provided, etc. I'll definitely come back here next time! The price is perfect too which I appreciated. Definitely exceeded my expectations with the price!

The swimming pool is great, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff is very friendly. They offer swimming pool towels as well which is great! We loved our stay here and would definitely like to come back. The only issue is that the bathroom doesn't have a full door or curtain between the shower and the rest of the bathroom area, so the floor can get very wet. The breakfast is simple but very nice!

Having a curtain or something between the shower and the rest of the bathroom would help a lot. Also, on our first night, we only had swimming pool towels, but the next day they provided us with shower towels.

The bed was super comfortable. Great hot showers. We loved the pool, it was a great warm temperature. All the rooms face the pool, some on ground level and the second floor. Staff were all super friendly, and we especially loved our visits with Reni in the restaurant. Breakfasts were delicious with lots of options. We loved the healthy yogurt with museli and fruit. The restaurant makes yummy pizza and calzones as well. There are games to play and a pool table on one end of the restaurant. We would definitely stay here again.

It’s got everything you need! Dive shop, restaurant with craft beers on tap (haven’t seen that in the almost 2 months I’ve been in Indonesia!), and a beautiful room and pool. Right across the street from the beach, just a short walk down a path past some homes/hotels depending which cut through you take, more restaurants and shops an easy walking distance. Reggae bar is close by and makes for great sunset watching with beanbags and chill vibes.
