You don’t even feel like leaving this place and chill by the pool all day! Rooms are amazing, ac works incredibly good, bed is super comfortable, everything is really really clean. Service is amazing, the staff is really attentive and you get to choose from delicious breakfast options. Location is pretty good as it’s nice and quiet, a bit far from other places but you can rent a scooter and travel around, we found the sunset spot just 5 minutes walk from the villa that has nice food options, cold beers. Overall pretty amazing experience 🙌

Only thing is the food menu in Dhauteya is pretty expensive.

A peaceful, relaxing stay in this beautiful place. The staff at Dhauteya were all lovely, nothing was too much trouble, and everyone was friendly and helpful - with special thanks to Kadek and Kim. Snorkelling equipment is available and the team can also arrange boat trips for you although there is easy access to the (pebbly) beach at the front of the hotel for swimming and snorkelling and it's a 10-15 mins walk along the road to Jemeluk Bay for more snorkelling over a coral reef and a change of scene. Some good restaurants nearby - Galanga (5-10 mins walk) and Harmony (10-15 mins walk).

We liked everything! This is a peaceful place so if you are looking for late night bars or a party atmosphere this is probably not the place for you.

This property exceeded all our expectations and was better than the photos. Located so close to central Amed (walking distance) yet so peaceful and calm. The property is extremely well maintained and spotlessly clean. Every attention to detail was taken care of in the beautiful rooms, with appealing decor, ample amenities and attentive staff. The pool was an absolute highlight! Right in front of the beach and sparkling clean and well maintained. The restaurant has an extensive menu and our group tried a variety of meals throughout our stay with no complaints at all. The inclusive breakfast was absolutely delicious! We only stayed two nights and wished we had stayed longer.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property. There is a large staircase that goes down to the villas which would make it difficult for people with mobility issues to access.

Really enjoyed our stay at D’hauteya Villa and absolutely loved the pool. Kadek was very helpful especially with being able to organise activities if we needed it and the rental of a scooter. The bed was comfortable and the villa was immaculately clean (daily cleaning left the room smelling and looking lovely). It’s great having the cafe and restaurant on site, and we would probably book activities through the villa next time (we had pre booked elsewhere not realising it was an option). We would definitely love to come back here again in the future provided the price stays reasonable. It’s perfectly located between several good restaurants and warungs along the coast which we travelled to by rented scooter.

Initial concern with gaps in the windows etc which could allow bugs/lizards etc in so we ensured we used the mosquito nets at night and provided mosquito repellant which turned out to be fine. The doors to the villa are noisy though, and the included breakfast is limited so we would likely book without the included breakfast if that was an option in the future.

The property is beautiful. The location is amazing , we went to sleep every night with the sound of waves lapping on the shore just metres from our room , The staff are all amazing and were always on hand to help or make sure we were all good and what our plans were for the day. We had never been to Amed before and staying here was a great introduction.

There is nothing we didn’t like , It’s peaceful beautiful and we are glad we found d it , You may need a motorbike if you want to go down to the main town area . We always ride bikes and we’re lucky the hotel organised a good quality scooter for us ,

We were blown away by this lovely, friendly property. The villas were clean, comfortable and cute—and I can't say enough good things about the staff and the food. Everyone was so friendly and constantly working to keep the property clean of leaves and other debris. Kadek, who helped organize our fishing outing and accommodated our requests in other various ways, is a top-notch resource. So incredibly helpful and friendly. Every single time we asked for something, whether it was extra water or extra towels or slight tweaks to the breakfast menu, the staff quickly and kindly made it happen. I can't recommend Dhauteya Villa highly enough. Seriously. STAY HERE!

Beautiful location right on the beach, with ocean view from the room, pool and beach restaurant. Wonderful house reef just few meters off shore - remember to bring your snorkel kit or rent it at the hotel. The staff were smiling and very helpful at all time, did their very best to make our stay great.

The food at the in-house restaurant didn’t live up to the standard of the hotel. It was a bit overpriced compare to the quality and several times they were out off simple ingredients. The staff did their best to give us a good time, but at times it was difficult to communicate due to their basic English skills, it resulted in several misunderstandings regarding food ordering.

Very clean hotel in a tranquil location with a nice territory and a great view. And you can snorkel straight in front if the hotel! Staff tries their best, property manager Kadek is very friednly and helped us to organise a snorkeling trip and a transfer. Food is also good. Room wasn’t big but it was very tidy and cozy.

I liked everything. The only thing that I could probably mention is the hotel is a bit remote from the main areas with the majority of the shops and cafes. 10 min walk to the nearest shop, 20-30 min to the Amed beach area (no pavement unfortunately). Or a short taxi drive (we used grab).

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a resort in Amed, Bali, and it was truly a delightful experience. This was my second stay with them. The resort's cleanliness was impressive, especially by the standards of Amed. Every corner of the property was well-maintained and inviting. The atmosphere was peaceful and serene, making it an ideal retreat for anyone looking to unwind. The amenities were up-to-date, ensuring a comfortable stay. I particularly appreciated the various facilities offered, which added to the overall enjoyment of my time there. Location-wise, the resort is right by the beach, which is a major plus. The coral reefs are perfect for snorkeling, providing guests with a chance to explore the vibrant underwater life. This was an exciting highlight of our trip, and we spent delightful hours in the water. Most importantly, my elderly parents enjoyed their stay immensely as well. The calm environment and friendly staff made their experience enjoyable and relaxing. Overall, I highly recommend this resort for anyone considering a trip to Amed. Whether traveling with family or seeking a peaceful

-The grounds are very nice, with a clean and good-size pool overlooking the ocean. Breakfast and drinks can be had downstairs right by the beach, or upstairs with a vast view of the ocean & surroundings. (There is some lingering construction, but it was not noisy, and the more unsightly portion could barely be seen - didn't bother us at all). -Most rooms have beautiful Balinese doors and windows, and nice decoration inside. The two more modern rooms are also very tasteful. Our room and bathroom were a good size, and were practical in their furniture and amenities. -You can see a beautiful sunrise from various areas on the grounds. -Breakfast was very good, with several options. On the first day I thought we might want more variety, as we were staying a week. It would have been nice, but not really that important, as the existing options were very good. Especially the owner's sirup, with pineapple - delicious! The omlette was perfect! -The staff was great. Especially Khadek was patient and a master of everything, always making sure we were ok. His English is a bit rudimentary, but we were able to communicate. -Diving and snorkeling in Amed and Tulamben was very good and not too far away. -Tranquility - there was no annoying entertainment or music, the sound of the ocean was all we heard at night. Although the villa is on a main road, the road is not too busy - definitely quiet in comparison to 'downtown' Amed accommodations.

-The location is a bit far outside 'downtown' Amed, which makes it more challenging to walk to diveshops and compare them in person. But most people seem to rent a scooter or car, so for most people this shouldn't be an issue, it's 10-15 mins. Also, several spas and restaurants are within a 5-10 min walk, so you can vary your drinks, dinners, and lunches if you are staying longer and need variety, but don't want to go to Amed. -I wouldn't use their driver unless it's for a short taxi ride to Amed or so. For day-trips / longer trips I would definitely take someone else.
