Loved everything about Coral View Villas - the staff were lovely, the food great, location right on the beach was perfect. Clean and tidy rooms and grounds. Fab pool area.

We loved our bungalow, it was spacious, really comfortable and the layout of the inside out bathroom- great (enough inside that you didn’t get wet in the rain but enough outside to feel connected to the sky and garden!) We also loved the sun loungers on our patio. The location suited us, next to a beach with reefs either side of the hotel within easy swimming distance. We found ourselves hanging out with a beautiful turtle during our first snorkel, loads of fish and massive (huge) blue starfishes. The pool was welcome for a quick dip and there were plenty of sun loungers there too. We were very impressed with the hotel restaurant which we returned to time and again for great value and really tasty food next to the sea. The beach is absolutely full of fishing boats so not a lot of space there- but we liked watching them and they added to the charm.

The location was perfect. Right at the beach surrounded by a beautiful garden. Great snorkeling in front of the hotel. No boat necessary, but it is also nice to go on one of the boats that are located in front of the hotel for a snorkeling trip a little further away. Staff is very friendly. The swimming pool is very nice too. We very much enjoyed our open air bathroom too (though there is a toilet inside as well). The 2 bedroom house has plenty of room for a family of 4. Breakfast is basic, but good. We also had a few other meals in the restaurant, which were also good.

The location of the bungalow was - as booked- directly on the beach, just 20 meters. The very nice and clean swimming pool was just behind our bungalow. The garden is very well maintained. We had our meals mainly in the restaurant of the resort for the reason that the quality was really good, the service very friendly and the prices were matching quality, service and location. The breakfast was also of high quality, with a broad choice. I recommend the Nasi Jinggo. The beach was clean, the snorkling was good. The bungalow itself was comfortable, clean, quiet, everything you need. The best place we stayed in while on Bali.

Coral View Villas is all about the location and the stunning well cared for gardens. The beach front Vila's are two bedrooms plus.twi outdoor spaces where we spent most of our time. The Coral reefs are just so stunning and if we returned, we wouldn't bother hiring a boat to go anywhere else, just walk into the reef every day and explore the pristine ocean.

I felt terribly sad to see a large fish in a small tank beside the kitchen. It couldn't even turn around. What a depressing life for that animal. There are fishermen directly outside the villa who could supply the restaurant with a daily catch, so this cruelty feels unnecessary. I would urge management to give this fish his freedom - this would make Coral View Villas a true paradise.

I love CVV, this was my second stay here. I chose the villa closest the gate to the beach and was not disappointed. The resort itself is lovely and comfortable, beautifully kept gardens and spacious rooms. Perfect place for lounging about on the porch, in the ocean, or in the pool. Swings for the kids, good food, nice bar. The location is amazing (absolute beachfront with a view of Lombok) and the big bonus is the local fishing guys who have hereditary rights to use the beach and pull their tiny outrigger boats "jukung" up on the beach right outside the resort., and, they told me, in case of a cyclone, in the garden of the resort itself. They fish at dawn every day, and for a small fee will happily take you along to fish or to watch, and will also take you to fabulous coral reef snorkelling or diving spots by boat or "by swim" . They are all mostly family with each other, are exceptionally courteous and helpful, can speak a bunch of languages, and will keep you safe at sea. They care a lot about the environment and spend a lot of time cleaning up the endless tide of plastic rubbish that flows in on the tides after the rains. We caught fish most days, snorkelled for most of every day and got to kind of be included in local stuff in the gracious manner that all Balinese welcome their visitors. There is dive shop/school right next door and a restaurant on the beachfront of the resort. Easy place to hang out for a short or long stay, and a great place to be with family, friends or on your own. There is a Hindu temple on the beach right next door so some days you will hear and see ceremonies as they unfold.

Breakfast was good,we had options the choose from and also buffet. Not too many but it is good enough. The staff are very kind and helpful. We would go back in the future if we will be in Amed. Swimming pool is nice and the garden is beautiful. We didnt get the chance to go for snorkeling because it was raining,but maybe next time. Beds are comfortable. Its open bathroom,but still fine.

Ala carte breakfast was taking too long for a pancake for my kid. Night before i got a banana rolled pancake and it was with hair rolled in for my last bite. The dessert and flavor by itself was really good but at the end the experience was not nice.

Beautiful setting on the beach, cute bungalows, lovely clean swimming pool. Loved the outdoor bathroom :) Some of the best snorkeling we have done, 40kms of coral reef just off the beach, amazing.

We had read a lot of reviews before we booked so knew that the rooms were not mosquito-proof (gaps around doors etc) so we were prepared for this but it is something that people should be aware of. One of our mosquito nets had a big rip in it but the mosquitos still didn't find their way in.

We had a lovely 5 night stay in a 2 story beachfront villa. I chose the resort due to the proximity of the reef for snorkelling and it didn’t disappoint. Beautiful and well kept grounds, friendly and helpful staff, delicious food and drink at the beachside restaurant, lovely pool and great location for reef snorkelling and turtle spotting.

The beds are a bit uncomfortable, not so bad to disturb sleep though. The cleanliness of the room wasn’t great with dust and hair under the beds, toothpaste dribble stains around sinks upstairs and downstairs bathrooms. Also there was nowhere downstairs to store our clothes as the under stairs cupboards were broken. I did approach the cleaning staff about the cleanliness of the room and showed him what I meant. We didn’t take it any further as the staff and resort was so lovely and I would still stay there again. This was the best holiday we have had for a while!
