The resort should put up some notices to tell tourists not to touch or stand on reef. Many were doing this particularly at low tide. Resorts that benefit from proximity to this beautiful reef should show even more responsibility to educate visitors and protect the environment.

The staff are amazing, Made, the front desk manager was kind and accommodating of all our needs. the staff who cleaned and organised the rooms were always happy with a "hello" and "have a good day". The food and the wait staff were outstanding with the most delicious breakfast. a truly tranquil place to just rest, relax, snorkel, sit in the pool or go diving. Sasa the owner, even reduced me and my motorbike when I hurt my back trying to master the giant mountains of amed. He and has wife came to my rescue. Kadek drove us to Kintamani and mt batur then to Canggu when we left. we stopped off at the most magnificent coffee plantation. All of this was just standard amazing culture of the wonderful people at Vienna Beach Resorts

The hotel is superb, especially its location directly on Lipah Beach, where you can see corals and many beautiful fish. The hotel is very clean compared to others I have been to in Amed. The room is spacious, the bathroom is also big. The towels were changed once every 2-3 days, We stayed 6 days and they changed the towels twice, which is a big plus for them.

Great location - right on Lipah Beach, which happens to be the best beach in Amed. Room faces the ocean and you can hear the sounds of crashing waves. The hotel is just steps away from Lipah beach, which has a top notch reef with great snorkeling. The staff was helpful and very friendly. We rented a motorcycle from the resort and drove around Amed and around the mountainside. It was a pretty special experience. I highly recommend this resort if you want a nice central beachfront hotel as your base in Amed.

Great location, nice clean onsite restaurant with good western and Indonesian selection and drinks, huge bathroom. You could rent snorkels from on the beach and the snorkelling was amazing - some of the best I’ve seen. Room was very clean with good air conditioning.

There are paid sun loungers on the beach but only 3 at the pool, often other people visiting hotel/beach would use them for the whole day so you had nowhere to lie down without paying which is a little annoying but otherwise it was amazing! So many centipedes on the property, but I didn’t find a single one in my room so just got used to them and wasn’t bothered by it.

The property and staff and food is amazing! Everyone is so friendly and helpful! the hotel is very clean and the rooms are beautiful. after a couple days, the staff will know you by name. if you are going to Amed, you must stay here. The beach is gorgeous and right there. they have a lovely breakfast and happy hour. We met so many lovely people from all over the world. I can’t wait to come back and visit! Thank you Vienna Resort and staff for making our first stay in Bali truly special! .

We had a problem with room allocation but the manager was magnificent and found a solution, which was both kind and professionally handled. Tremendous.

Nothing to complain about.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. The rooms are very comfortable (the beds are soft, warm water in showers, and the ac works well). We woke up to crashing waves each morning and then got to have our morning coffee looking out at the sunrise over the ocean on our cozy balcony. The hotel overlooks beautiful Lipah beach which has awesome snorkeling that people travel from around amed for. We got to see a sting ray, a sea turtle, a huge bright blue starfish, and tons of tropical fish in just a couple days. The food is good but there's also plenty of other excellent warungs closeby if you're interested. Truly a gem! Highly recommend.

Vienna Beach Resort is conveniently located near snorkeling and good restaurants. Check out Asri next door! Our guide for snorkeling was very good, and created a safe and fun experience. Rooms were very clean, spacious and just steps from the pool, beach and restaurant. The included breakfast was very substantial, tasty, and included with our booking. It was very handy to hire the young men there for rides to restaurants on scooters. We ate at Gusti, Aquaria, Asri, and Sails. All suited us very well! Snorkeling off shore!

The snorkeling boat was difficult to re- enter after the two stops. I am older and needed help upnthe ladder. It is better to tell guests what to expect so we can make an educated choice about whether to go from land or hire the boat.

Room number 9 is fantastic, my favorite (I saw 2 more rooms). The view is amazing, you are just steps away from a crystal clear beach. Hearing the waves at night is such a treat. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. I ordered porridge, fruit, juice and a tea. I would come back, but only if I could get this room again.
