The location on the beach as well as proximity to really lovely restaurants, spas and a mini-mart. The pool area is beautiful and very comfortable. Pool is cleaned daily. Breakfast was also good with many options from "American" to Balinese and Indonesian. Healthy options too. The coffee is great as is the fresh fruit juices. The food, in general, is very tasty but the spring rolls were teh best we've had. The best part of the experience was the staff. Especially the very competent and kind, Wayan, the manager. With the few issues we had, they always managed to make it better and one couldn't be angry around such humble people. Tip: Please come to Amed with cash. There are only two ATMs in the place and they often run out of money as happened to us.

The rooms are comfortable, but really need an overhaul as some have mentioned and needs a deep clean. You can see dust on the skirtings and corners and the mattresses have strange bold stains on them. Bed linen could do with replacing. They clean daily, but it doesn't seem to be enough. While the mosquito nets worked well, they could also be cleaner. I had an accident with some dragon fruit juice which didn't help either. Apologies! We paid next to nothing to stay here so still felt like we got good value. One more thing, the steps up to the standard rooms are very high. If you have knee issues like me, rather take a grounded floor room (Deluxe).

Lovely smiling faces, happy to help, very comfy bed and could highly recommend the bungalows for complete peace, privacy and outlook. Having breakfast overlooking the pool to the ocean on their doorstep was simply stunning. Surrounded by beautiful gardens.

Meals(apart from breakfast)-We would highly recommend that you take advantage of the numerous warungs (especially the one just along on the beach) , Warung Agung, and the lovely hilltop Ibis Seaview Warung with amazing sunset sea views. They all have most tasteful, wonderful food.

This is a small, very pretty and comfortable hotel. It is situated right on the beach, so the view while you eat your breakfast or sit next to the pool is really gorgeous. You can go snorkeling in the ocean right in front of the hotel, no need go out on a boat. The snorkeling was incredible. We swam with turtles and saw the most beautiful sea creatures. The beach is quiet and very peaceful. We hired bikes from the hotel and were able to drive around easily and enjoy many different restaurants nearby. Get up early to watch the sun rise, it is well worth it. We would recommend this hotel and really enjoyed our stay.

The food at the restaurant was average

The location is beautiful and authentic . It’s a fishing village and you are part of it . Fisherman can take you snorkeling . The people down the road have opened a new cafe. You don’t need to leave the local area for small beautiful shops , fantasic food finds, world class massage and across the road a gorgeous gift shop. The hotel itself is friendly list I have encountered with person service and always a great suggestion or a way to help . Well appointed comfortable rooms. Made was such a winderful host and treated us like family .

There was nothing to dislike

I really liked this hotel. I added 2 nights to my initial 4 for a total of 6 nights. Great value for the money. Staff is super. They're professional, helpful, so very friendly and made me feel so welcome. Bed is super comfy. Room and bathroom are cleaned daily. Fridge, water cooker, safe, water in room. Very nice shower, lots of hot water with great water pressure. It's right on Lipah beach with great reef snorkeling. Even saw some turtles! Nice variation of breakfasts included with the room. Large variety of tasty snacks, lunch and dinner options available as well. Massages available. I will definitely return if I'm lucky and get to go back to Lipah Beach. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great private property located on quiet beach. Large rooms with great balcony overlooking gardens which included a day bed, large sitting couch, large coffee table and clothes rack. Pool on beach front with sun beds overlooking beach. Lovely choice of breakfasts and all very delicious. Provides snorkelling rentals. Would definitely return to this property.

Bathroom needs to be aired out when cleaners clean each day, ie; bathroom door left open, not closed.

The beach right out the front is beautiful. Great snorkeling right there and the Warung makes good coffee!!! There are still some amazing Restaurants and Warungs in walking distance but a local driver will be needed to get anywhere else. There is also a mini mart within walking distance.

The housekeeping staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was excellent with good soap products. Walking distance to People Point which was by far, my favourite eating place with good coffee.

The grumpy lady working in the restaurant detracted from the experience, given that the rest of the staff were most friendly. The vegetables that were supposedly accompanying my black pepper chicken turned out to be a bit of tomato, cucumber and three scrapes of carrot. The included breakfast was disappointing

Bungalows were lovely, Staff excellent lovely beach great for snorkeling. Food was good and a nice small swimming pool. Pool was shaded but was great to get out of the sun. Really peaceful place to stay

Loved my stay here. Right on the beach, reef is right in front of the hotel, so excellent snorkeling. Perfect place to relax and unwind. Restaurant food was good, and they were accommodating to my food requests.

I was in the hut closest to restaurant. It didn't bother me too much, but it would have been nice to have a privacy screen for the verandah. There was a privacy screen with another hut, but not in the direction of restaurant. Light fittings in room were a bit dated and kept switching off. Shower head only half works, so can't get full stream off water.
