The location is perfectly near the more attractive dive spots in Tulamben. The resort was very clean, staff was friendly and helpful, and the DMs were all highly knowledgable. We had a second floor room, and the balcony was unexpected (it appears all the second floor rooms have them), so that was a nice surprise to be able to hang our wet gear. Usually it takes up the shower!

If I have to pick something, breakfast could open a little sooner. It felt a bit rushed to have to get in at 0700 and be diving by 0800...first world problems though, really. Also the pool table above the restaurant could use some freshening up!

This was the most relaxing part of our holiday. We switched off completely. Beautiful views over the ocean (it’s black volcanic sand and pebbly beach but still gorgeous). We read books, recharged. Ate well including Indonesian and Western food, drank margaritas and had Magnum ice creams for a treat. The staff are all beautiful . What’s not to love about all that? We left a small bag with my iPad and medications in it, the hotel went out of their way to help me reunite with my bag - thanks Tauch! Insert Love heart emoji here!❤️

Tiny issue, I’ve realised I’m not a fan of Bintang on tap. Give me a glass bottle any day. I understand this hotel is very environmentally friendly, but….. you asked, and that’s my only small desire….

Location

Upstairs rooms moldy. Too many smokers around. Should dedicate a smoking area such as the bar only. No smoking around pool will be much appreciated since there’s so many children around.

If you are looking for a place to dive, snorkle and/or relax, look no further. This is it. The resort is absolutely beautiful, with lots of different spots to sit and lounge. Every single one of the staff greets you with a sincere smile. I have no idea if there is anything outside the resort because we didn't leave the resort for 3 days, that's how nice it is. There is 1 restaurant. The menu has both Balinese, indonesian as western food so lots to choose from. They have a dive bar which offers everything from intro courses in the pool to expeditions for experienced divers. Right in front of the hotel is a beautiful coral reef. They also have a spa, which offers different packages at very reasonable prices.

Absolutely nothing

We had the Liberty seaview suite at this hotel - and it was a lovely, big room - well appointed, spacious and clean. We went to this hotel specifically so my partner could dive - and for this it was perfect. The dive centre and the diving was really good - staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. The facilities were good - two pools, a restaurant and a bar, as well as a spa (which we didn't have the chance to try). The beach is rocky - so if you want to swim definitely take water shoes - otherwise it's impossible to get in the sea - and this isn't a place you can walk on the beach! But overall we did like our stay at this resort - and highly recommend it for the diving.

It's the second time I stay at Tauch Terminal and I was again not disappointed. Amazing little boutique resort. Ideal location if you want to just relax away from the crowds. Spectacular sunrise sea view. Very well organised dive operation. Best value for money. We will definitely be back.

Had to think really hard to find a small thing that could be improved: the door leading to the bathroom was a bit old. But this is a microscopic detail compared to the overall satisfaction of our stay.

This place is stunning, beautiful, best of all is that the staff appears to really happy working there. Everyone smiling and you can hear people laughing at work. They hosted a weekly barbecue where they seated all the guests together, that created a very inviting and friendly atmosphere. We hardly left the resort, we had everything we needed right there. It was an excellent stay.

There really is not much to do outside of the resort. You can’t walk on the beach because it’s loose rock. But who cares? We were not there to walk. We were there to dive.

Location was excellent, easily accessible snorkeling "Coral Garden" directly in front to the dive centre located in the hotel. It's a short walk up the beach to enter the water to snorkel the USS Liberty wreck. The dive centre staff are excellent, efficiently fitted us out with top quality gear to use during our stay. The snorkeling gear is complimentary with each room booking, which was fabulous. Reception, restaurant and grounds staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely grounds, pools and outlook to the ocean. Pool towels were continuously replenished - excellent!

The rooms were lovely, clean and spacious, though one of the rooms had limited hot shower water. It was disappointing to not have kettle, cups, tea/coffee in the rooms for making tea and coffee. There was a thermos in each room which could be filled at the restaurant, but this lost heat overnight, so not really good for a morning cuppa. Biggest downside by far was the lack of vegan items on the both the restaurant menu and for breakfast. Its 2022 and a large proportion of people eat a plant-based diet for a variety of reasons. It's disappointing that a beautiful hotel such as this not more inclusive in this regard.

Perfect location very close to all the dive sites and dive shops. Pools and restaurants look out straight over the water. Very relaxing place. The staff were helpful, friendly and switched on.

The rooms were a little small and lacked storage but still highly recommended and seemed to be the best spot in Tulamben

The location, the food, the peace, and the accommodating staff. Really appreciated the professionalism of the dive centre as well.

Being an early riser, I couldn’t get coffee until 7am. Would also like to have access to some fitness facilities. Diving was always available, but they were a little short staffed, and I didn’t wager to do the dives I wanted.
