The view from the pool is exceptional. The facilities were good. We enjoyed ordering everything using Whatsapp. The overall atmosphere of the complex was very pleasant.

It was quite noisy as our bungalow was nearby the kitchen, you could hear the staff, the smell was unpleasant and the noise of the bikes made it quite noisy. The food was below average for a 5 star hotel. The internet connection was poor. Besides some of the interior as the bar chairs or tables as well as the sinks in the bathroom were not ergonomically designed and not very comfy. The location was quite bad - to the nearest beach which was a total disaster you had to go through the jungle and to the nearest decent beach you had to rent a taxi and travel for over 30 mins. The rates for transport offered from the hotel were quite high.

Infinity pool (literally at your doorstep!) was awesome with amazing sunset views - water felt clean and inviting (insects and birds were drinking from it!). Hotel room is pretty and smart TV in room is good with netflix etc. Bathroom water pressure was excellent and shampoo, body wash, body lotion and even sunscreen was provided. Room uses number lock, so you don't ever have to carry a key. Excellent wifi (each room has its own wifi!). Outdoor gym (and volleyball court) is pretty neat. For its forest location, there were surprisingly very few mosquitoes (I am a mosquito magnet, but was only ever bitten once for whole 4 days). Very private and exclusive (only about 20 rooms in total), so you basically always get full attention from staff. Food was nice and very decently priced, with some very interesting breakfast items - I appreciate that they don't gouge you for this, since you are basically at their mercy with the nearest alternative restaurants miles away. The place is very secluded and perfect for relaxing and doing absolutely nothing - however, do reserve at least one day to do a full day private car charter. Remember to defnitely ask for Putu - he speaks perfect english and is a wonderfully experienced guide!!! He can bring you around to all the nearby fun places (ATV riding, waterfall, temples, beaches, honey and civet-cat coffee farm, rice paddy fields etc.). I don't normally ever give 10 stars, but this place was totally worth it and exceeded my expctations.

Bathroom windows open fully, and during daytime, you can hear the staff talking amongst themselves at the back, so you wonder about security of your room (should install grills/change window style). The number lock system also means other guests could potentially enter (although after you realize how exclusive the place is, this isn't really a concern at all). The cupboard was made of rattan wood, and had strong musty odor, which is problematic for asthmatics and people with sensitive noses like me. Place is super secluded (with both its plus and minus). They should place a rack at the balcony for you to hang your wet clothes/swimming items after using the pool.

A very beautiful place to relax. This hotel would be ideal for couples or a romantic getaway if it were adults-only, but when families with children arrive, some noise is unavoidable. The room was nice, small, but with a wonderful ocean view. The doors often make noise due to the wind. The pool is amazing. I liked the food at the restaurant, but it's the only dining option in the hotel. It's quiet and peaceful, but there's not much to do within walking distance, so all entertainment is limited to the hotel itself, which doesn't offer anything special. There's only a small gym, and that’s about it.

No grab,only taxi which is more expensive. I was surprised when I didn’t find a kettle in the room.

Where should I start? I once read a review of this hotel that stuck with me — “If I ever go to paradise, I want it to look like this.” Now that I’ve been there myself, I can only agree. This place is truly an oasis of peace and quiet, surrounded by the sounds and scents of tropical nature. On top of that, you’re treated like royalty by the amazing staff — hardworking, warm, and incredibly hospitable, just as you’d expect from the wonderful Balinese culture. The food was another highlight — everything from breakfast to dinner, including the cocktails, was absolutely delicious.

There’s really nothing to complain about, except maybe the lack of ventilation in the bathroom — but that’s a minor detail in an otherwise perfect stay.

One of the best accommodations we have ever stayed in! The pool and the view were absolutely beautiful — everything felt like a little paradise. The massage and the food were incredible; in fact, we’ve never eaten such delicious food during our whole time in Bali. The nasi goreng here was the best we’ve ever had — full of flavor and absolutely unforgettable. One day was rainy, but with this amazing accommodation we didn’t feel bad at all — we simply enjoyed spending time at the location. The open-air gym with the mirror was also fantastic. The whole experience was beyond our expectations, and we would definitely love to come back.

- we booked the villa for 3 nights and got 3 bedrooms with 2 private terraces, with a small pool and small jacuzzi and huge living room, 2 large very beautiful rooms + 1 smaller room - fitness gears and badmington field - beautiful restaurant area - staff is so nice and kind managing with WhatsApp your requests - great spa also - you are not far from Virgin beach by car or Ujung Water Palace which is really beautiful - the hotel is such a beautiful place you may reduce the number of visits to just enjoy the place

- one room smells a little humidity (tropical climate) but my son was ok with it - to get there you need to drive across Manggis village. There is no other path. And not really any walking path from there either. So you definitely need a car (or ask for a taxi or a driver )

The staff was realty friendly and helpfull. If you need anything, they wel help you immediately. The area around the pool was fantastic. The view was beautifull, the pool area was very clean. Our room and terrace were really nice. The room is very modern. The restaurant was also really good. Food was always great!

Sometimes there were little ants in our room. There was a dog who always came to our terrace. Even when we wanted to eat something on the terrace, we had to face the dog. We told the staf and they helped us and cleaned the terrace extra good because the dog was always there.

Quiet , remote location away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud and Uluwatu - just what we wanted . The staff are so friendly and accommodating, rooms clean and the pool very nice . The views from the pool area are fantastic. There’s a very well equipped gym and even an ice bath . Massages onsite were good . All in all there’s no need to go anywhere if you just want to relax and get away from it all.

The last part of the track is unmade so be prepared if renting scooters . Also there aren’t many options nearby for food but we mostly ate at the hotel and the food was excellent. There isn’t much insulation between rooms so you rely on your fellow travelers for peace and quiet . That said we had 2 families with babies and it wasn’t an issue. The steps to the I ebath are slippery when wet. Management Might want to put something down on the wood .

Beautiful hotel kept in great condition throughout the hotel complex. Lots of nice greenery and pool area is amazing. Bed very comfortable with soft bed linens which smelled very clean!

We only had two negatives regarding this hotel. Number one is location. Hotel complex is located very remote with no taxis, shops or anything within walking distance. Leaving this place is expensive with taxi option booked by reception. Secondly, breakfast is not included. Since most options has the exact same price, you can better just include it in the room rate and higher the rate.

We enjoyed our stay here in the middle of Bali’s nature. The location is quite remote, but relaxing. The staff are helpful and the pool is really enjoyable - we spent most of our time there. There is also a well-equipped gym.

This hotel seems to try to attract the “Instagram crowd”, which made up about half of the guests during our stay. This disrupted the vibe from time to time, as they would play music, shoot content with a drone, etc. Also the hotel is not well-insulated, so if you have a room by the pool, you may hear noise from the rooms above. Additionally, the food could be improved, although the fish sandwich and chicken burger are quite good.
