The staff were beautiful, kind and helpful. The rooms were spacious and wonderful for families. Our children had ample room to play during those times they were too tired to be out in the pool. The pool was exceptional!

The location of the resort was so far away from anything and the shuttle running 1x per day at 10 was not reasonable. The restaurant was overpriced but so often with children and being unable to walk somewhere nearby we were obligated to eat and drink there. $5 per can of coke zero after service and government charge is too much. Many of the powerpoints in our room did not work which was frustrating.

The Ramayana is an absolute slice of paradise. Located right on the ocean you can hear the waves crash and the birds sing. I had a junior suite which was extremely spacious, tastefully decorated and impeccably clean. My bed was so comfortable - like sleeping on a cloud. The pool area has lots of sun lounges and the pool itself was clean and inviting. We spent a lot of time swimming there. The restaurant was fabulous. We ate all our meals here. A delicious, fresh buffet breakfast every morning and yummy dinners too. All served at a table with a stunning view over the sea. We also appreciated the complimentary afternoon tea which was tasty and generous. The spa is one of the most beautiful I have been to Bali. I had four treatments here and they were all wonderful. The staff were gorgeous and my massages and facial left me feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. The whole ambiance of the Ramayana leaves you feeling peaceful and relaxed. Koi fish filled pools along the paths, lush gardens, high ceiling pavilions and water fountains abound. The Ramayana’s greatest signature is the staff. They are all so welcoming and friendly. They always took time to say hello and many actually called me by my name. This was so touching in a world of tourism which can be quite impersonal these days. The Ramayana is an amazing hotel with a lovely, authentic Balinese welcome. This was my first trip but it definitely won’t be my last. Thank you to all the staff. We’ll be back next year.

We spent a beautiful week at Ramayana Candidasa Beach Resort and Spa, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! Although we have visited Candidasa many times before, this was our first time staying at this hotel — and choosing Ramayana Candidasa Beach Resort was the best decision we could have made. The service was absolutely amazing, with beautiful and kind staff who made us feel so welcome and well looked after every day. The cleanliness of the entire resort was impeccable, room service was prompt and excellent, and the internet speed was surprisingly fast, which made everything even more comfortable. A special mention must go to Garpu Restaurant — without a doubt, one of the best restaurants in Bali we’ve experienced so far. The service was outstanding, and every dish was just wonderful. A very big thanks and heartfelt compliments to Kadek and her amazing team, who took such good care of us throughout our stay. We also treated ourselves at the Rama Spa, which was truly the icing sugar on the cake. We tried many different massages during the week, and each one was equally professional, relaxing, and simply delightful. This resort is highly recommended to anyone looking for a peaceful and high-quality stay with genuine Balinese hospitality. We are definitely coming back for a couple more weeks to enjoy this amazing place again! Thank you to the entire Ramayana Candidasa Beach Resort team for making our stay so special!

Had to go home at the end of the week.

We stayed for three nights and had originally booked a Junior Suite, but were pleasantly upgraded to a One Bedroom Suite. The suites are beautifully located, surrounded by lush greenery. The garden itself is absolutely phenomenal – a true highlight of the property. The pool area offers plenty of loungers and a stunning view of the sea, perfect for relaxing, though the pool itself felt a bit small considering the size of the accommodation. The gym is also beautifully situated in its own pavilion within the garden, making workouts a pleasure. The team was extremely friendly and attentive throughout our stay. A special thank you to Sinta at reception, who was always helpful and made us feel very well taken care of.

One downside is the somewhat remote location, which makes dining options limited. Unfortunately, the on-site restaurant didn’t meet our expectations in terms of food quality. As a result, we chose to walk 10–15 minutes along the road each evening to dine at nearby restaurants.

It was just AMAZING!! The staff is so friendly, the view is just stunning, it’s like a resort. Fantastic experience, delicious food, the burger was the best one I have ever tried! We had a little chat with the manager, she was super friendly. Free shuttle service to Candi Dasa centre, but nothing to see really. Also had a couple massage and it was fantastic. The hotel is made so you don’t come out of it, just chill all day! Everyday there is different event taking place: yoga, shoulder massage, art class and all this for free! The pool is pretty deep and you can enjoy a nice swim. I really recommend this place it’s just gorgeous!

A beautiful peaceful resort with the most genuine, caring staff. We couldn't have wished for a better stay. Hotel rooms super clean, stunning gardens and lovely pool area. Food was great, breakfast omelette the best and evening meal really delicious. The spa and massages were amazing. I dont say this often, but this hotel is definitely one I would return to! Short taxi ride into town for food <3mins. Great location for Lempuyang Temple, Tirta Gangga & Maha Gangga.

If i was to be finicky, I would have liked an option of a thinner pillow in the room.

This hotel is stunning. We stayed for two nights to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We enjoyed a spa day for two, which was fantastic. In the evening, we had a romantic dinner on the seashore—it was truly memorable. The hotel also surprised us with a complimentary cake. The food and drinks were excellent. The swimming pool and views were breathtaking. The hotel is in a great location, right on the seaside, with direct access to a sandy beach. The staff were very helpful and attentive. While everything was excellent, the overall cost felt a bit high compared to other resorts of the same level.

We only stayed two nights at Ramayana Candidasa Resort but really enjoyed it. The sea-facing room was lovely, clean, and comfortable, and the ocean views were a highlight. We came straight from the airport (about 1.5 hours’ drive) and were welcomed by very friendly staff. The resort is a little out of town, but it’s easy and cheap to get in — only about 30,000 IDR ($3 AUD) by car. Breakfast at the resort was excellent with plenty of choice, though for other meals we preferred exploring nearby local restaurants. A great spot for a short, relaxing stay.

This resort was awesome, staff were very welcoming, amazing location, great pool, we had interconnecting family room which was very roomy and very comfortable, great comfy beds. Breakfast was lovely.

Careful not to make activity arrangements through staff at restaurant, we did but when it was pooring rain for the activity, we spoke to them directly about not progressing however the restaurant staff member tracked us down later by mobile phone through another staff member at the restaurant and made us feel awkward and guilty about not proceeding. This did not ruin our experience, we loved staying here.

The location to the ocean - sights and sounds, is spectacular. We were very aware of the tidal currents - the 'life' of the ocean. So peaceful to sit and listen to the waves. The help and friendliness of the staff. We especially enjoy the location of Candidasa as it is more traditional; the staff are welcoming in a sincere manner - more as an equal partner, rather than subordinate, which is far more genuine, we feel.
