The hotel is very comfortable and the staff was awesome, which is a general expectation in Bali. The restaurant is well located on the beach front with beautiful views of the ocean. The facility is well maintained and our villa with private pool was awesome for the kids.

I took the half board which was a mistake. The lunch or dinner on half board has a different and much more limited menu than the normal menu. We ended up buying from the main menu. Also, the free breakfast you get one protein option and the portion is so small, even my kids were hungry after, so we ended up topping up. Just to put it in perspective I spent more on food per day at this resort than the previous one where I only had free breakfast. Please also note that the resort is not on a swimming beach.

The waterfront location is simply stunning . It’s quite magical relaxing in the pool while watching the ocean. We loved the ocean front villa that we enjoyed as we sat on the verandah and just absorbed the view. The staff were very warm and delightful.

Our holiday deal included half board (Ie breakfast and either lunch or dinner. We did find the menu limited and basic but always presented fresh and staff consistently friendly and keen to please. The coffee and happy hour was great though. The water pressure was inconsistent which we found annoying. The pool while maintained could do well with a fresh paint or retiling.

Lovely 2 bedroom villa with our own pool. Staff were amazing, food was fabulous although the most expensive we have had since travelling through Bali. Nirwana is a great resort & although no beach out front, the pool area was great & there is a beach very close by.

Nice view can enjoying the sea, the mountains and beautiful cleans gardens. Employees friendly and helpful. Nice ! Villa with private pool is nice en enough space to enjoy. Live music in the restaurant that's nice and clean resort and villa, really plus point. Recommended for visit Taman Ujung (Nice garden with beautiful mountains and sea views) and beautiful Virgin Beach with clean white sand beach with nice swimming pool and restaurant there that you can spend the whole day there, really nice.

If they have it a little bit playground then will be beter to long stay, please serve beter white towels and not to small drink water bottle. Maintenance need it to riol because a little bit stink riol in the bathroom.

Beachfront Bungalow: The beachfront bungalow was beautiful and provided a great experience. Staff and Management: All staff and management provided outstanding service, demonstrating dedication and attention to detail throughout our stay. Garden: The garden was lavish and well-maintained, adding to the overall beauty of the property. Pool: The pool was clean and easily accessible, contributing to a pleasant experience. Location: Very quite and peaceful.

Meal Options: The breakfast, lunch, and dinner options were quite limited. I would not recommend booking the packaged lunch or dinner as the value did not meet expectations. Beach Access: The beach was not easily accessible. Fridge Condition: The fridge in the room was outdated and in need of an upgrade. Bathroom Maintenance: The grout in the bathroom needs attention as it showed signs of build-up. Location: The property is located in a very remote area.

The staff were really nice and there were unexpected bonuses like a complimentary beach trip and a boat/snorkeling trip. The Driver Katut was very helpful and friendly.

The pool water was green and clearly needed more chlorine. I was concerned that swiming in it may posea health risk.

We stayed for 5 nights. Very helpful and kind staff. Wide range of activities organized by the hotel. We tried most of them and would recommend each of them: - free shuttle to Tenganan village - free shuttle + snorkelling - romantic dinner for two - warm stone massage - Lempuyang temple + breakfast “in the sky” Wide range of breakfast courses (15+) main courses (indonesian, burgers, pizza, pasta) desserts and cocktails. Extra menu of 10+ courses in case of pre-paid lunch/dinner. All food and cocktails delicious. My wife is a gluten-free person. They asked on the first about allergies etc. and since then, they automatically served only gluten-free varietes of the ordered food or discussed the other possible options with us. This was pretty much appreciated. The pool was clean and with perfect temperature - not too hot, not too cold. The resort offers afternoon local snacks and tea/cofee free of charge. Also clean and quite large comfortable room and bed. Overall 10/10 - exceptional value for the price.

The whole resort was incredible. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed, relaxed and at peace. The grounds are stunning and beautifully kept, the spacious pool amazing, and the restaurant perfect for every meal. Although a little further from the main area of town, it didn’t bother us at all as we barely left the resort. When we did go in and explore the hotel was happy to book us taxis or offer us their free shuttle service. The when we booked, the hotel had a notification saying there may be noise around the hotel due to a boardwalk being built on the foreshore but when we arrived there was no evidence of this and the resort was perfectly quiet all stay. Upon exploring the main area of town (a 5 minute taxi ride away) we discovered the construction site. It’s so far away there is no chance of noise disturbances. We can only assume all resorts in the area have to post this disclaimer regardless of how far they are away from the noise. We were glad we booked in spite of the notification! Overall we just loved our stay at Nirwana. It’s the perfect getaway up the coast in a town that feels like the Bali of old. We can’t wait to come back!

The garden grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Pool is clean and a good size, with sun beds and towels. Very nice restaurant. Nice staff.

Beach not accessible even though a beachfront. Rooms were ones chic you can tell, however at this stage could use a little revamp. Some crack and chipped paint in the bathroom. Main doors don't fully close, leaving cracks on the side for mosquitos and ants coming through. At night there is a lot of noise from bats and birds, also you can hear the waves in stormy weather which can be somewhat noisy. The hotel is reachable by a long alley way, which is public with potholes and not easy to walk through if you are heading to town.

The outlook from the restaurant and pool is stunning. The gardens are so beautiful! We ate at the hotel both days, the location is outside on central Candidasa so to eat out means getting a taxi, but that was fine because the food was lovely. Having our own pool was nice however due to the location of the villa there was very little sun so if you want to sunbake by the pool just book a standard room and head to the main pool. The staff were lovely and happy, always willing to help with whatever we needed. We used the onsite spa however for an hour massage, it was in a room with no air-conditioning though, so it was pretty sticky and uncomfortable! Also had a manicure which was done outside on a terrace in the direct sun so lots of sweating! We enjoyed the complimentary afternoon tea each day and thought that was a really nice touch! Happy hour was also a winner for us. On the whole it was a lovely stay and the stunning gardens and views to Nusa Penida were amazing!

Our room (one bedroom pool villa) was full of mosquitos. We requested some spray which was provided however they just kept coming! Lots of bites when we woke in the morning. There was also a strong sewerage smell in the bathroom however this is unavoidable in parts of Bali.
