Everything! The Jannata resort was absolutely beautiful! Every detail was meticulous. The spaces were open and stunning with gorgeous jungle views, and extremely well cared for. The staff were some of the sweetest and most helpful we’ve encountered in all of our travels around the world. We were traveling with our three teenage kids, and we got the two bedroom jungle pool villa, which was amazing! We each had our own dedicated bedroom with bathroom and balcony, and an additional living room area downstairs with an additional bathroom, which was perfect when you have five people staying together. The pool was refreshing and a wonderful place for all five of us to hang out together and the showers were hot and amazing!! The staff was also able to help us book drivers if we needed to go anywhere, but they also had a free shuttle service that takes you directly into the heart of Uber town, which was very convenient. The food and service were wonderful, and we could not have asked for a better stay! Highly recommend staying here!! We loved it!

The property was beautiful. The staff couldn’t do enough, I have never experienced such friendly and helpful staff, When they realised that I would struggle to walk up and down the steps. They moved me to a nearer room. The food was excellent and the free afternoon tea was a lovely touch.

Only 1 very minor problem. Could do with handrail on the steps. Not ideal for someone with a walking problem.

The resort and room was absolutely perfect - granted many stairs to get to it, but that's part of what made it feel like our own private villa in the jungle. It was very clean and spacious, the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the view from the terrace was beautiful. My only note would be to have a bit of heat in the private pool because it was COLD, and we would have spent much more time in it if it was a bit warmer - but it was very *refreshing* for a quick plunge after a morning walk/workout. The grounds were beautifully taken care of and provided stunning jungle views left and right. The service was also always responsive and very warm and friendly. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway close to Ubud!

We had the room with the private pool, and the pool could have been heated a bit to take the edge off - it was COLD!! Would have ensured we used it much more. Otherwise, everything was GREAT!!

Hit the jackpot booking this hotel. Very good food. Staff were very helpful and kind. Room was clean and comfortable and extremely good value. Glad I didn’t book a room with a pool since the main pool was big and never too busy. Spa services were exceptional. Close proximity to everything in Ubud via bike or taxi which are very cheap. We ended up staying at this hotel the whole time and travelled round the island from there which didn’t prove to be an issue. About an hours drive to most places. The highlight aside from the staff was definitely the view every morning waking up to a forest of palm trees which also meant it was always peaceful and quiet.

Accommodation (2 Bed Villa with Pool) was brilliant for a family of 4 as it had loads of space and was very well maintained. View was incredible over the jungle. Location within long walking distance gf Ubud, but very tranquil and away from the hustle and bustle Staff were all excellent and very friendly, in particular Tama who also took us on a tour. In house restaurant very pleasant for breakfast and good for evening meal if you want to stay in

No gym, was was not essential but would have been useful

The view of the jungle and the location of the hotel are a big plus, although the noises at night can be loud and you have to get used to it. Spacious room, clean 😊 Wanya (I don't know if I wrote her name correctly) deserves great praise, she is helpful, nice and knew how to take care of everything :)

The food is poor, sometimes you have to wait 50 minutes for breakfast even though we arrived around 7 am... As for the standard of the hotel, the breakfast was nothing special, sometimes we were served cold. I don't know if it's because the hotel restaurant is being renovated or it's always been like this... If we had had clear information that the restaurant wasn't working, we wouldn't have chosen this hotel. Drinks ordered in the evening - they were very weak. Unfortunately, sometimes requests to the service were not answered on time and you either had to repeat yourselves or be very patient.

Beautiful grounds surrounded by jungle. Views of the valley. Fresh flowers placed everywhere. The attention of the staff was exceptional. The rooms are large and well appointed. Water in room, turn down service with cookies. Rooms are very private. Spa was lovely. Many freebies, we received a free 60 min massage. Positioned outside of Ubud. Takes around 30 mins to walk into town along the ridge walk or 15mins by free shuttle service. Plenty of taxis back if needed. Great restaurants and village close by. Try restaurant ‘Me’ to left (looking at hotel). Entertainment several nights. I miss this place already.

The food is good but not exceptional. It is built on the side of the valley which gives the place its charm but beware there are many steps especially if you are in a lower pool villa. We did not mind.

The view of the rooms and the hotel is magnificent. The location of the hotel is very good, it is far from the crowd in Ubud center but easy to get there with the shuttle in 20 minutes. The breakfast was perfect, lots of options and everything was delicious. They are giving an afternoon tea/coffee and snacks. The food prices for the dinner are not expensive and they are similar to the cafes/restaurants in Ubud center. The rooms are very big and comfortable. The cleaning of the room was very good. The staff were incredibly helpful and respectful. Even after the check out they helped us a lot.

The shuttle service is only 3 times a day, it could be improved. The food options for dinner are limited, there could be more choices.
