We loved our stay at Uma Padi Villa with our 4 young kids, so much so that no one wanted to leave. The hosts were so helpful with any questions we had. I had read reviews about limited breakfast choices but the breakfast of fresh smoothies, fruit platter and the choice between American, pancakes & local breakfast were so delicious. It was more food than we could get through every morning. We loved the location being tucked away from the busy part of Ubud but close enough to walk (ordering a bike or car on grab was by far the easiest option). It was quiet at night for sleeping which was a lovely change after being in Seminyak which was so noisy at night. It was nice just to walk to the end of the lane/street and walk through the local rice fields. The top rooms had a beautiful view of the rice fields and surrounding villas. It was so pretty.

All the rooms were standalone / not adjoining so that can be tricky when you're staying with young kids. We made this work by putting our 2 oldest kids in a room together then my husband and I each shared a room with our 2 youngest kids.

It is a very spacious villa with very nice furniture and design The swimming pool is beautiful The location is calm and relaxing, far from the chaos but close enough to reach every point of interest within 15 minutes drive

A little wear and tear here and there. The lock of my room was broken and could not close the door of the bedroom The alley were the villa is located is a little dark at night

The villa was a lovely design. The pool was terrific and we enjoyed living alfresco. The bedrooms were comfortable. The staff were friendly. It was in a quiet area of Ubud off the main road.

The shower pressure and hot water was a bit irregular. The road getting in to Ubud is busy and hectic for walking so we found a walking track parallel to the main road.

Room was great and clean, big comfy bed, breakfast was yummy, the staff were very friendly, view was perfect and location was quiet but not too far from restaurants, shops, markets. All in all the accommodation and staff were amazing and far exceeded our expectations. Will go back there again soon.

Excellent value, great location near a rice paddy, easy to access Ubud central, the staff were extremely accommodating taking us on bikes. Wonderful breakfasts daily, just loved it

Twin bed availablility would have been good as there with a friend, but not a big issue.

The 3-bedroom villa with private pool was amazing. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and you could pick Indonesian, an egg breakfast, or pancake breakfast. They would set up the breakfast at our outdoor dining table and then clean it up afterwards. The fresh juices were the best. We paid $620 for 4 nights! Kadek was amazing. We didn’t have any set tours or plans, and he helped us plan everything out. For only $53, he drove us around all day and even acted as our tour guide and photographer. We wanted to ride ATVs and he took us to the best place. When we want a massage, food delivered to the villa, or a ride to town, we just let the staff know. Everything was so cheap and so amazing! Thank you Uma Padi Villa for the best time we had in Bali!

I stayed 3 night as a solo traveller. I like this part of Ubud as it far away from the crowded part, more authentic. Whilst it is remote, there is plenty to do and it’s easy to get to the centre by taxi or scooter. There is a gym in the same lane. Book an in-house massage with Ketut! I had treatments two days in a row and loved it. I was tired the first night and ordered food from a nearby restaurant advertised in the room (just message them on WhatsApp!) and it got delivered to the villa. I also really recommend dinner at « Balinese Home cooking », which you can access easily via a charming walk down the villa’s alley, through rice fields. I also celebrated my birthday on this trip and the lovely staff surprised me with a birthday cake. The bed is very comfortable!

I think the village had an annual 3-day party with loud music all 3 nights until 3-4 in the morning 😂 This area is usually very quiet. The bath towels are an the old side but I’m sure they’re clean.

The quiet location just out of town was quite good, although a bit too long of a walk. The rooms were of a large size, especially the bathrooms. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

The towels and sheets were of a low quality and needed replacing as they were grey from overuse. The toilets look dirty because of lime scale. You must remove the lime scale with certain products designed for it so that the toilets do not look dirty, as they do now.

Really loved all of the staff, it is a local family that run this, they were all so friendly going out of their way to make you comfortable and welcomed. The villa was absolutely beautiful, right next to the rice fields, restaurants, laundry, mini mart and gym all in walking distance. We used their car services a few times and the driver was so good telling us avout the culture and taking us to the best places. We are definitely coming back to stay here again. The breakfast we got every morning was so delicious, they would also bring mosquitoe coils of a morning/afternoon for us as well. You would not be disappointed if you stayed here, we also used the airport pick-up and our driver was there waiting for us with a sign with our name was such a relief and a very easy process. Couldn't recommend this villa enough.
