I read a ton of these reviews before booking, I really don't understand some of the negative comments after spending almost a week at this Resort. I'm so glad I trusted my gut and booked it. I think it is an exceptional value, the location is great. it's an easy 10-15 minute cab ride downtown. but also nearby plenty of shops and literally one of best spas I've ever been to (Purti Bali) - I went nearly every day! Get the massage + scrub! The resort's views were really unmatched, with several pools overlooking the jungle. It was incredibly peaceful at night to listen to the jungle sounds; although I believe the resort was full at one point, it certainly didn't feel that busy as it is quite big. We rented the family room, as a tip- I would request the one with a view over the infinity pool. We totally scored and I think we got the best room at the resort! They also provide breakfast (included) daily 7-10am, which was incredible! Every single day a bit different, but had a few consistent items like egg station, fruits, etc. There was always a couple vegetarian options as well! My kids loved the soup every morning! I would absolutely book of this Resort again without hesitation, in fact, we ended up extending our trip by several days because we enjoyed being here so much.

I don't have any complaints You're in the jungle so there's definitely some bugs and critters around. if that is something you're sensitive to, perhaps this isn't the place for you. That being said for our family afford to stay here for less than $80 USD, it was an exceptional value.

The hotel has a unbeatable setting, with lovely lush garden, wonderful pools, large, spacious and well equipped rooms. The breakfast was great with a nice selection of choices. Beside regular rice and noodles and egg selection, they prepared a “main course like” meet dish and had some fried corn small pancake like thing with was supertasty. (I read the opposite in some comment so it came as a nice surprise). The stuff was always kind and helpful.

Indeed like can be read in comments below, the hotel clearly does not make a brand new feeling, but we were 11 people and we all agreed that it is certainly does not create a run-down neglected feeling and was not disturbing at all.

The views from the hotel were spectacular, the decor of the hotel was beautiful and the rooms were spacious. The bathroom was massive! The food at the restaurant was really good (would recommend). The staff were helpful and booked us cooking classes and taxi driver for the day.

There was a lot of ants by the pool and sun beds. The photos online suggested they did yoga at the hotel, but when we arrived they said they didn’t (maybe just when we stayed). The frogs were really noisy during the night (can’t help that). The sunbed mattress were kept out when it rained, so the next day they were soaking to lie on.

Poor breakfast selection, stale croissants, did not like the coffee. Restaurant staff during dinner time did not pay much attention to receiving my order, waiting like 10 minutes for her to come and then 30 minutes for the meal (I was the only person there at the moment). She brought the dessert before the meal which resulted in the ice cream being completely melted and pancake soggy after the meal.

The hotel area is not large but very beautiful, very green, good swimming pools. The territory is cascading, so there are a lot of steps up and down, take into account those with sore legs. The hotel restaurant served delicious food.

The only thing I didn't like. This is a hard mattress on a bed. And they didn't clean the room. I had to ask for the trash to be taken out. And a bit far from the center. For shopping you will have to take a taxi.

Super friendly staff- you're doing great job! From the beginning helping with the bags, organized scooters. Also they kept our bags and were super responsive long after check out. You can feel the place belongs to the jungle next to it even though it's close to the ubud busy streets. There are some comments about the place can be maintained better but I think it's so close to jungle that you can't avoid a gecko in the room - you can literally feel the room or bungalow is in the jungle which is the experience. The lower pool itself is worth a visit and photo session in the sunny morning Buffet breakfast was good and also included omlett/eggs on request. Great selection of the restaurants and art galeries in the 2-5 minutes walking distance

Maybe a tea/coffe in the room would be a nice add?

The setting of this resort is gorgeous. It has multiple pools on different levels with the lowest overlooking the jungle. The gardeners have done a great job and all the rooms a nestled in lovely gardens. Highlight was a massage in a small room, up high, overlooking the jungle - could not get a better experience. Book the spa treatments when you arrive.

All of the pools are fantastic and their surrounding gardens create a great atmosphere.

The hotel has aged in the 7 years since we were last there, while still comfortable it would benefit from a little renovation. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and a great size. Breakfast needed more variation, six days of the same food became a little boring. Similarly the evening menu needs an upgrade.

The hotel was great, the staff were friendly and happy to go the extra mile. The pools were great and the food in the restaurant was delicious.

Rooms are a little dated and could do with some maintenance but wasn’t an issue for us and they were very comfortable and clean.

The location and the views are amazing. Big property and comfortable stay. The rooms are separated and have no disturbance. Very quite place.

We had booked a family room. We were alloted room number 201, which was badly maintained. and the view was not as displayed in the pictures. On our pointing out, the hotel staff shifted us to another room 202, which was quite good and nicely maintained. However, the shifting was done from the second day only. We had a bad experience on the first day.
