LOCATION LOCATION. Did i mention LOCATION… if you want shops this is the stay. Have everything with just a hop,skip and a jump. Staff go above and beyond to help…Markets 15mins walk up the street.Monkeys randomly monkeying around.

Nothing was disliked however the kids did mention hard beds - softies

The beauty of the place is the garden and the pool and that it is in the very center of Ubud. The room is comfy. The owner is friendly and can help you with suggestions.

It's a budget stay so don't expect any luxury. In the night there was a monkey who entered our room and stole some food, so watch out if you sleep with open window 🙈

Location, nice pool with sunbeds, we had a big family room with two beds and one couch and a coffee table that was nice. Also a bath tube and a shower in the bathroom. Possible to refill the water bottles.

For low cost accomodation, Sagitarius is excellent. It is a convenient location in Monkey Forest Rd with access to many places to eat and socialise. We had two large comfortable rooms near the back of the property which we really liked. Across the fence, in neighbouring property are two delapidated properties where a colony of monkeys hang out on the rooves in the early morning and evenings. We think these monkeys went down to the Monkey Forest during the day to get tourist bananas. Anyway while we loved watching the monkey families next door, we were also well aware that we could not leave anything on our verandas or they would steal it. They would also try to sneak in our doors if we left them briefly open. If you like watching monkeys this a great place to be, but if you are worried by monkeys, make sure you get rooms near the front of the property.

Amazing location and great staff! The staff is very friendly, very helpful, available and in high spirits. The Hotel is located in the centre of Ubud, there are great parking possibilities for the scooter, amazing swimming pool and possibilities to relax, great garden with beautiful decorations and plants, there is an own shrine. Free coffee, tea and drinking water available. There are monkeys because it's close to the monkey forest.

The bathroom was dirty and had black mold. The internet is not enough for working or movies, but it is sufficient for a quick search or booking.

The quiet ambience and traditional Bali decorations need special mention. Walkable distance to Monkey forest, Ubud palace and Ubud market. We were upgraded from standard to A/C deluxe, pool facing room for free. Pool well maintained. Spacious rooms. 24hrs hot water supply and unlimited drinking water provided. We did not book breakfast, so no idea abt it.

No proper Display board for the hotel. We had to keep searching for a while. Occasional surprise visits by monkeys, so keep your belongings and food items safe.

This is an amazing inn right in Central Ubud near shops, restaurants and spas on jl. Monkey Forest. A neat tranquil garden. Truly nostalgic for us as we miss staying in a Balinese architecture accommodation, it feels like some 25 years ago. The complex, despite being in the busy section of Ubud, is pretty quiet, we didn't hear a great deal of traffic even from the porch of our little bungalow. The monkeys are funny and mischievous, which create havoc in some mornings during our stay there. Good size pool as well. Highly recommend this place. Staff are attentive and polite.

Absolutely PERFECT location.... Two minutes from the monkey Forest, even monkey's on the property, so be careful and don't leave food outside, or even tea in my case. Woke up to a monkey banging my tea cup on the table outside 😅 The staff was incredibly helpful and kind, helped me sort out transport and ferry to Gili Islands. The property is stunning beautiful and serene. The pool was clean and nice to relax after a hot day walking around. You can walk everywhere in the centre easily. Lots of great restaurants and shops all around. I suggest the Golden Ape, right across the street, for fantastic food. I went twice during my four nights. Originally booked 3 nights but liked it so much I stayed one more, and even though I couldn't keep my original room, the staff made sure to get my new room ready first and helped bring all my luggage over. Breakfast was only 30,000 and you get fruit, hot drink, juice and a choice of banana pancakes or eggs. All delicious. Big spacious room, working aircon and nice bathrooms.

The first thing I liked was the view from the balcony. I admired the sunsets every evening. The hotel has an excellent location. Everything is within walking distance. The room is big and clean. I really liked the yard. A lot of greenery and various sculptures. You can feel the authentic Balinese atmosphere.

Don't leave things on the balcony. The first day I realized that it was a mistake to leave my swimsuit out to dry. Then I traded it for an apple. Monkeys come every day and sometimes early in the morning.
