The location is superb. Near to Ubud’s busy shopping spree areas.

This not about dislike. Just to inform that If you come by car, please make a reservation for your car parking since the space is very limited.

Great location just out of the human/traffic madness.Entry is next to a busy load karaoke bar however couldn't hear a thing in the room. Simple breakfast which was fine for us. Very large family room which is appreciated. Pool was handy to have a dip. Monkeys came through one morning while we're had breakfast, so that was entertaining. Walkable to monkey forest, sweet orange rice field walk, palaces, markets, warnings, restaurants, mini marts. Water refill at breakfast.

Sheets & towels worn but you get what you pay for. Stairs up to the loft area were really squeaky so kids woke us when using toilet at night but ear plugs work a treat. Very marginal body wash but again pay for what you get, just buy some.

the location is perfect, we did massage all the 3 nights that we stayed there, in 3 different places right in front of the hotel (they were all really good but Shambala was exceptional!!). Monkey forest, Ubud Palace, all the best restaurants really close, it is amazing. Staff was always really nice and friendly! the room is also really big and beautiful, we had cleaning service even tho i didn’t think we would have, over all i’m really happy and would definitely recommend :)

the bathroom is not very new and it’s really hot inside, but it’s definitely clean and works really well.

We loved the location, the setting was beautiful and seeing the monkeys made it all the more special. We had a problem with bugs after a thunder storm one evening and staff helped straight away to solve the problem. Breakfast options were limited and bland but we were out early most days anyway so wasn't too much of an issue. Only thing I would add is there could be a little more attention to detail in the room, they were well equipped but not as clean as others we have stayed at in ubud, and the tv didn't work. Other than that we thought the hotel and location were lovely and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Would return with few small tweaks 😊

Who needs to go to the monkey forest when this is up the street and the monkeys come to the hotel daily! Beautiful location overlooking jungle. Lovely small hotel so not overly busy, very central for restaurants etc. Monkeys came everyday sometimes a bit too boisterous but the staff sorted them out straight away. Nowhere else in the world can you sit eating breakfast with monkeys to watch. My son left his teddy there and the lovely staff returned it on a gojek the same day sending photos along the way 🙌🏻

The hotel is in the centre of Ubud, and just few steps away from the main street (quiet at night). The employees are so kind. If you’re lucky, you’ll see monkeys in the morning passing through the swimming pool area.

Breakfast s rather basic, but in my specific situation of early departure no problem. There is however one thing that was not ok: the window in the bathroom does not have a mosquito net. As I left the door open over night, I got quite a few bites and probably contracted Dengue, even though not seriously, but that could be different for another guest. This must be fixed, it is easy and cost almost nothing or alternatively, a mosquito net needs to be put over the bed.

Location was very convenient, and suprisingly quiet for being just off the main road. Breakfast each morning was a bit hit and miss, depending on which chef was working I think. Don't leave food waste outside your room, otherwise the monkeys will come and terrorise you! My kids thought that was hilarious though.

Room and bathroom was a little bit tired and worse for wear. Beds (like most in Indonesia) were very hard and uncomfortable. Had to ask for towels for the pool every time we wanted them, and sometime they had run out. They would offer bath towels instead in those instances.

Location was perfect, around 150 metres from the Monkey forest, shops all around and forest, was perfect, basic breakfast to get us going in morning, great massage places in allyway leading to motel, staff were lovely.

Not much we didn't like, can't even think of anything we did not like.
