The resort was situated in a small street with a narrow entrance but once the car went through to the alleyway, we were absolutely speechless by the view. Breakfast every morning was amazing, we tried almost everything on the menu. We had a private villa and it was absolutely gorgeous. We could hear the lions and elephants from the zoo which was about 15 minutes away by foot and 5 minutes by car. The resort was about 25 minutes away from Ubud central but it was not hard to catch a gojek to and from the central part of Ubud. Staff were absolutely amazing and always so helpful. There are some chickens and dogs on the resort too, we were so surprised they could live harmoniously together. Everything was absolutely spectacular and more people definitely need to know about it.

There’s actually nothing we didn’t like, no issues at all apart from the mosquitoes but we had repellant and kept the doors closed. Definitely not the resorts fault.

Very clean and calm , perfect place to relax and reconnect with the nature , the staff were very kind and helpful , the booking of our destinations were done through the resort and this has helped us a-lot, it is ideal fir families , we booked private suite with 2 master rooms , was excellent for our kids aged 7&9 years , our smaller kid 4 years needed to stay in our room cause the stairs between the rooms are out side , we live it a lot and the kids didn’t want to leave

No many options for breakfast , the pool water temperature was cold so we couldn’t swim

Our stay at YanYan Resort was absolutely perfect! The place truly lets you experience the power of the jungle—peaceful and full of life. One of the best things was that we could rent a scooter directly from the resort, which made it super easy to explore the area. We had so much fun riding around and discovering nearby spots! The staff is incredible—hardworking, always smiling, and making sure everything runs smoothly. During Nyepi Day, they put in extra effort to accommodate all guests, and I really hope they are properly rewarded for it. They are the ones who make this place truly magical.

My spouse and I truly enjoyed the resort. We had a great view of the vegetation - forest directly from our balcony. We were able to sleep in comfort with very little outside noise coming through the windows, doors or walls. It was quite peaceful. The staff did special things to make our stay more than satisfying. The food was prepared as we asked and not over seasoned or too spicy. They ensured our room was cleaned and well cared for during our stay.

The only thing I wish this resort had was more hook - hanging point in the bathroom. There were not enough points to hang your towel or clothing when you were getting ready to shower or when you returned from the pool. Other than that, we have no issues with the resort or their staff.

Such a great place to stay. We started our Bali trip here. The resort is family owned by such a lovely and kind local family. The staff is super friendly and they adopt your kids directly! We had villa with private pool which felt really private and had such a wonderful view. They also arranged airport pickup for a really good price. It is a bit further from Ubud, so if you want to be in town a lot (trust me, it is very busy there) this might not be the best place. But if you are looking for a beautiful resort with the most friendly people ever, in the middle of the jungle and with really good food, this is a must-go!

We stayed in the private pool villa and it was perfect. Just magical. It was spotless and quiet (except the jungle noises but these were cool!) and comfortable. The staff could not do enough for us. They booked us a tour for the next day even though we arrived late. The food here is also excellent. The pool looked right over beautiful greenery and was so peaceful. If you're looking for a restorative break - come here

This was not a downside but just to note this place is not in ubud centre so you're a little out of the town. This was ideal for our stay however as we wanted to rest and do a day tour

everything corresponds to the rating, beautiful place, maximum care of the staff, everything is great and the price is good. Actual rating is 9.4. I don't need to describe more, of course I recommend this hotel, someone wants a vacation instead of Ubud..

Nothing, only the choice of breakfast is litlle, but all the breakfasts are excellent. next time I recommend to expand rather than a smaller selection, but Lunch and evening is the option of selection for a fee, great price

Quiet hotel that backs onto Bali Zoo, so we got to hear all of the animals while we were in the pool! Private villa pool was beautiful & room was lovely.

A bit of a language barrier compared to other places we stayed. Their transport was very expensive - twice the price of Bluebird. I wouldn't class it as a resort, as there was no spa or extras. Just a hotel with some private villas. The website needs to be updated, as they don't have everything they offer. There were no bikes available to hire & no cooking classes. I stopped asking for anything once I realised they didn't have everything they offered. The stay was nice, but just not what we expected. Happy we booked at a discounted rate, as I would have been annoyed if we'd paid full price. Their menu and food need some improvement though, especially as they are so far from everything. By the end of the trip, we were ordering food via Grab.

What I loved about the hotel was the warm welcome upon arrival. The room was beautifully decorated, tidy, and set up with special touches to celebrate our honeymoon and marriage. We had an unforgettable stay and truly enjoyed every moment. This is without a doubt the best place in Ubud for a honeymoon. The breakfast was exceptional, the views from both the pool and our room were breathtaking, and having a Netflix account to enjoy on the smart TV was such a nice touch

The location was very good, with peaceful surroundings. The pool was refreshing and clean. They make up your room and get you 2 fresh towels every day. The food in the accommodation is good. They offer scooter rental and loundry. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed very much and would highly recommend it to others as well. It was exceptional. Thank you!
