Incredible views and amazing customer service. They carried our bags up and down the massive and very steep stairs to get to this location. Perfect for adult travellers, not good for kids.

Safety is a bit of a concern as there is nothing under the handrails and you have to climb over the bed to get to the concrete stairs or risk falling from upstairs to the ground floor.

This is one of my favourite places I’ve ever stayed and I’ve lived in Bali for years and stayed in many of the top rated hotels. It has an incredible view and it is perfectly located. The negative reviews for this place due to the stairs are ridiculous. You can’t stay in such an incredible location on Bingin without stairs and tourists need to do their research before booking somewhere and complaining. The staff were so kind and helpful with our bags and cleaned our rooms every day. The bed was so comfy and being able to fall asleep to the sound of waves each night was a dream.

It was nice and close to Bingin Beach, and the rooms were clean and nicely furnished.

Lacked some creature comforts and I discovered the food from the menu for food delivery was delivered to the top of the hill, and for that you would have been better off just eating at a nearby cafe or on the beach. If you are arriving on a late flight and you are on your own this location is not recommended. It was confusing and a little scary to find the place in the dark steps with little to no signage. If the staff did not come and look for me I would have never found it.

The room was good, but very small.

Its not easy to to reach the hotel location you have to walk around 200m, DO NOT TAKE WITH YOU BIG BAGS.

The location is amazing - beautiful views and convenient access to Bingin Beach with all the surfing, beach bars and cafes available to you there. Could pop down for a swim and watch amazing sunsets from your balcony. The bed was very comfortable, and we had everything we needed within close proximity to the place.

The plumbing wasn't great - the toilet wasn't flushing at all when we arrived (although the staff fixed this extremely quickly) and you had to use the shower at a very very low volume otherwise the whole bathroom would flood out into the living room too. I'm sure this is fixable though, so hopefully not a long term problem. The electricity would also often cut out in the afternoon/evenings when most guests were home using the air conditioning. It would be turned back on swiftly, but this happened multiple times.

The views from Blue Ocean are unbelievable, the staff are wonderful and the room was exactly what we needed. You can lay in bed or on the lounge and watch/listen to the ocean, or sit on either balcony to relax with the beautiful Bingin Beach below you. It’s close to lots of cafes and beach bars.

The sun shines into the room and can heat it up, so make sure you keep your curtains closed when you’re out for the day or it’ll be like an oven. Also don’t stay on Bingin Beach if you’re not able to climb stairs each day because it’s quite intense. Not good for people with bad knees/mobility issues or no cardio fitness.

The view and the loft is stunning, one of the best I have ever seen here. I really liked the interior design. And because the loft is up confronted to other villas you don’t feel humidity so much.

Wi-Fi doesn’t work well very much, so if you plan to stay here and work it’s not the best place. And you don’t have so much privacy. People from the loft next to you can easily see you from upstairs window if you don’t close those curtains: if you pay for that view and light you don’t wanna close yourself in the room to have privacy.

OMG the views!! This was the best decision I ever did! Far out it was the most amazing location and best for photos! The monkey coming across the balcony!

It’s not safe around the bed. The glass table and as you go up to the bed you need to walk at the edge of the bed which is only one foot size away from falling down to the glass table. I actually tripped on the balcony door on the top as I didn’t see the step on the bottom and honestly that one little high railing is really dangerous. Just a heads up! Also the door at the top is not stopping when you close it . It BANGS.

We had a great stay at Blue Ocean. The view is sensational - really stunning views over the water. The stairs really aren't that difficult, and you're halfway between the beach and the top so you rarely have to tackle the entire stairwell. The staff were all really lovely and helped us book a taxi to our next accommodation. Room clean was always done quickly and discreetly while we went out for breakfast etc which I appreciated. Really can't fault the location - sitting on the balcony watching the waves was great.

It might be typical for the area, but I did feel the value for money was a bit lacking. The rooms are on the smaller side (which is fine) but the balconies are shared - just be aware of this when booking, you are likely to see other guests on the balcony as you relax in bed etc if you have the curtains open. The bathrooms are a bit 'wet' - no shower curtain means water got everywhere. This bothered me more than my partner however. Again - it might be typical for the area but it felt a little overpriced.
