An unparalleled boutique hotel with amazing design, both inside the rooms and outside. A paradise spot. The on-site restaurant makes this place even cooler. Breakfasts here are restaurant-level (I couldn’t find such tasty ones everywhere in Bali), and we enjoyed them every morning. Friendly staff, private parking, security—you feel safe here. 24/7 access to drinking water is super convenient. There’s a small but cozy pool. The beach is just a 3-minute walk downhill. We’d happily stay here again.

To help users make the right choice, I’ll add a few negative points: - The room is designed for shorter people. I think it would be uncomfortable for anyone taller than 180 cm. Unfortunately, I had to bend when entering the doors and bathroom. The mirror only reaches chest level, accordingly. - An open bathroom. This isn’t a critical downside—it’s a matter of preference—but I’ll note it here. - Read the description of room differences on their website, because it wasn’t clear on Booking.com. - As of the date of this review, there’s a lot of construction nearby—though, to be fair, this is the case all over Uluwatu. - Poor internet. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi quality was very bad, and the internet kept disconnecting. Mobile data barely worked due to weak signal reception.

Terra Cottages Bali exceeded all my expectations. The place is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. The staff were incredibly kind, polite, and always smiling. The entire environment is very peaceful, with perfectly selected background music at the bar. The à la carte breakfast was delicious and varied, and the location was perfect - slightly away from the crowds but still close enough to enjoy the local restaurants at night. What I appreciated the most was the staff and how well all services were organized.

There was truly nothing I didn’t like. Everything was very well taken care of. The only downside was the noise from construction work taking place right next to the property.

Truly one of the best places we’ve ever stayed, the design and ambience was exceptional, the staff was fantastic, the atmosphere was relaxing and private yet a sense of feeling at home with other guests. For example, on our first morning we walked down to the beach for a surf, I received a WhatsApp from the staff to say they’d been told by the kitchen we hadn’t ordered breakfast, we thought we would miss it but they were happy to take our order via message and have it ready for when we got back - exceptional. Also, having read the reviews about the breakfast, we were unsure as to why, but after staying we get why everyone talks about it as it was great quality, eggs/avocado/açai bowls, plus fresh fruit, juices, coffee, all included is fab! We loved how easy it was to get to Bingin beach, they also helped arrange our collection from the airport which was a blessing! We can’t wait to come back!

I absolutely loved my stay at Terra Cottages Bali! From the delicious breakfast and fantastic food to the impeccable service and cleanliness, everything exceeded my expectations. The rooms were comfortable, and the entire hotel area was beautifully maintained, all in a perfect location. What truly stood out was the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. They were always incredibly helpful, making my stay exceptionally comfortable. A special shoutout to Sophie, the General Manager, who is not only lovely but also provided excellent tips to help me make the most of my time in Uluwatu. Thank you all for a wonderful experience—I can’t wait to return!

Terra Cottages surpassed our expectations in so many ways. The location is great - quiet, with Bingin beach walking distance, and a short scooter or car ride to the main shopping road. The place itself is picturesque, providing as much privacy as possible given the size of the place, and feels more private thanks to the landscaping. The room was dreamy, and had everything we needed: water, a mosquito net around the bed, a steaming hot shower, and hair dryer. The place has a restaurant, with a number of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Mediterranean sandwich was so good! Perhaps the best meal I had in Uluwatu. When checking out, the staff helped us book a Grab to Ubud, making sure the driver would show up since it was a long drive.

We had the most amazing stay at Terra Cottages - so amazing we wished we could’ve stayed longer and were so sad to leave! Before we even got there the staff were extremely accommodating, checking us in close to midnight and ensuring we were equipped with everything we needed from restaurant recommendations and best beaches in the area. We woke up in literal paradise to a peaceful garden, amazing pool and beautiful and fresh cafe style breakfast. The rooms were stunning, beds were so comfy, unlimited filtered water, fresh towels (one for showering + one for the pool) replaced each day and rooms cleaned daily. We are so thankful to the lovely staff for making us feel like we were famous. We hope to come back next year!

A serene and tranquil location to relax and forget the world for a while. The cottages and surrounds are quaint and beautifully decorated, spotless and cleaned and maintained regularly and diligently. At night the resort is lit up by beautiful lanterns giving it a cosy atmosphere. The restaurant serves up excellent cocktails and food courtesy of the wonderful chef and bartender. And the breakfast...I'd come back just for that. Amazing quality, beautiful sourdough, fresh fruit, juices and aromatic balanced Balinese coffee. The halloumi on avocado was nothing like I've ever tasted, simply sumptuous. I have no negatives, just a few comments. While technically close to the beach, the property is high up and there is a steep descent of about 170 steps, this should be made clearer. The shower area drains slowly which could be improved. That being said, this is a truly gorgeous property set in a quiet alley way yet close to shops, spas, bars and restaurants to suit every taste whether you want to party or just unwind. We absolutely loved Warung Local which is locally owned, had fantastic Indonesian food and was within walking distance. Finally, the amazing staff, including Fina, Ila and Isma, the wonderful caretakers, porters and gardeners (I wish I knew everyone's name to thank you personally) make this place what it is. Thank you all for a truly memorable stay.

Breakfast choices were good, however you could not choose a combination. Critic on a high level though.
