A great location with amazing views from the 2 windows. Central to the start of many tours. The breakfast was adequate. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Good strong Wi-Fi .

No maps available at reception. Breakfast was adequate but could be very crowded. A cafeteria style dining room. No hot water, tea nor coffee available in the room. The shower was a deluge pouring straight from the ceiling. A bar that had no beer was a surprise after the various beers had been explained by the staff. There was a loud nightclub nearby that played for many hours on Friday and Saturday nights.

Clean, comfortable, great location to explore from. Next to the working dock which was great to be able to watch. Slept very well - the bed was very comfy and, although it’s noisy outside, with the windows closed it was great soundproofing. The staff on the desk were excellent, we asked a lot of questions (!) and they were always helpful and courteous and went the extra mile to help 😊

It’s on a very busy and noisy road, which was off putting to start with. It’s also quite tired looking.

The location of the hotel relative to the area of town that we wanted to be in couldn't have been more perfect. The sights, sounds, and tastes of Valparaiso were within a short walking distance, and the hotel was a mere 15 minutes of travel time to/from the bus station (which was our transportation method to/from Santiago). My buddy spoke no Spanish and I have only a very cursory grasp of it so it was refreshing to encounter a hotel staff (especially Front Desk) who made every effort to communicate with us in either broken English or via the use of translation apps (such as Google Translate). Everyone was very friendly and courteous. Housekeeping service was good and the guestroom was functional. The breakfast was good. We also appreciated that on departure day, the Front Desk staff offered to and arranged for Uber service (versus taxi), which worked out way better and felt more secure.

The laundry service is overpriced. We paid the equivalent of $65 USD for nearly identical laundry service that we received in Buenos Aires for the equivalent of only $10 USD.

The hotel was perfect for our stay, excellent staff, all were very helpful. We had included in our price the breakfast which was very good. We had a small problem where our window would not fully close, once reported the problem was rectified within a hour, excellent service again.

This is nothing to do with the hotel but people staying at the hotel need to be aware that it is near a working dock which can be sometimes a bit noisy.

Super location for seeing a bit of downtown Valparaiso and close proximity to the cruise port. We chose it for those reasons and weren't disappointed at all. Ibis is comfortable, with a bar and small restaurant. Help was great, getting us a taxi to the cruise port. If ever again sailing out of Valparaiso, we'll definitely consider returning to Ibis.

This isn't a complaint, just a heads-up; be sure and bring a plug for converting 240V plugs to 120V, for charging phones, laptops, etc.

The location was great….on top of a train terminus to Vina Del Mar ….the 3rd floor elevator gets you into. Shopping area without going outside….a little dicey on the street for personal safety…..the hotel installs a full width set of steel bars cross the front entry t night.

Lots of bird poop around windows and exterior common areas….but it is Seaport….lots of seagulls.

Breakfast was very basic but sufficient. The room could have used a desk and chair. There was no workspace to put a laptop or do anything. A house phone would have been nice in case of emergencies.

A drop off zone for taxis, bus or drivers to easily load and unload. parked cars were there blocking loading of taxis

The room was very large with great lighting and work area. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water and great water pressure. The AC was cold, quiet, and easily ajustable. The WiFi was really fast and easy to connect. The location is just about at the Puerto raíl station. The breakfast had a decent selection and everything tasted good...

The only negative that I could possibly mention is that there were no USB charging ports, so you need to have an AC adapter.

The staff made the difference in our stay. We booked Ibis because we know they are reliable and have standards. But the staff was amazing. Our arrival they recommended where we could safely visit and places to eat. All of which were great! On departure our Uber driver failed us and Sophia was able to secure a driver for us to Santiago at the last minute. Our stay could have ended horribly but she saved the day.

The view from the spacious seventh floor corner room and the relative quiet (after some reviews warned of a lot of noise from the trains and the docks). All the desk staff were friendly and helpful - especially a young desk clerk named Tamara.

No mini-fridge in the room. No hot pot (electric kettle) in the room. The bathroom faucet had some kind of screen at the end which caused the water to spray out too hard, and go everywhere when holding anything (including one's hands) under the stream of water.
