We had a family of 9 people, including 2 kids. The rooms were nice and big, clean and nicely remodeled. The many pools available gave plenty of space to move around and enjoy them with no overcrowding. The staff was very friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable of the property. There is plenty of parking and lots of things to do on the property without moving your vehicle. Overall, we had a great time and are looking forward to our next vacation and will definitely recommend Compass Cove to others. 🥰🤙

The pullout couch bed was too dirty to use. The parking garage was too dark and could use a little more lighting . Someone stole my daughter white sandals from the large indoor pool area in the Pinnacle building and left a kids size shoe in its place 😒

This room was ground room in front of the pool area. I was worried we wouldn't be able to see the ocean at all or would have too much noise but that wasn't the case at all. The pools are clean, enough seating and pool side towels. There is Italian ice a Tiki bar and it is a sort walk to the beach. The room was clean and had exactly what we asked for. Staff always nice and accommodating and breakfast is clean and delish. The perfect vacation spot for short trips for singles, couples, family. We have been coming here for years and just won't go anywhere else. This is the first time we stayed in the Shooner building and we loved it.

Asked housekeeper for garbage bag to replace garbage after being there for 3 days and a roll of toilet paper she would only give it to me if I told her room number and she threw it at me I said thank you thinking maybe she was having bad day she wouldn't answer me let front desk no when I asked for new towels because I was not about to ask her for anything else they apologized. On last night asked for plunger they said they would send someone up at 5pm at 715 called back at 9pm they came and at 1040pm front desk called woke us up to see if guy came with plunger.

I love this place and will definitely be coming back!!! There's so many pools and kid water areas! They have like 3 buildings and we had access to all of them. It was never over crowded in the pools. The restaurant in our building (pinnacle) was so good! (Although some of the staff were super rude and we waited on our food forever, ppl coming in after us got there food way before us and I'm not sure why) The room itself was one of the updated room and it was so nice. It was very clean, had a kitchen with everything you needed to cook. The bed was super comfortable! The ocean view was amazing. the property has everything you need, we didn't have to leave the property if we didn't want to.

Our booking said our room had a sofa bed but there was not one when we got there

The location was excellent. However, they were doing renovations, so limited space was expected during check-in. The staff was also excellent.

The room was perfect, however, the housekeeping needed more attention. We had dirty towels in the closet. In one of the bedrooms, there was trash under the beds and other people's clothes, such as socks. In the master bedroom, there was also trash under the bed. We called downstairs and asked that a housekeeper come and remove the items, however, they did not show up until the next day. When asked about it, we were told they got busy and forgot to inform housekeeping.

Resort exceeded our expectations. Staff was helpful and friendly. Anything I needed was always delivered in a timely manner, like towels, toilet paper, etc. My husband loved the breakfast buffet, he ate there all 5 days of our stay. Tiki bar was fun, great drinks and music. Pools were great as well as the daily afternoon live entertainment. Check in was smooth, we will definitely stay again

Maybe later hours for the bar and weekend evening entertainment, but still was a beyond wonderful experience.

I was grateful for some much needed time away. Overall, I was very happy with my stay at Compass Cove. It was helpful to have access to everything that was necessary for my convenience. I appreciated the staff at the resort. There was a slight issue, and the staff at Compass Cove said, “I would need to take it up with Booking.com”, so here goes… I was disappointed in Booking.com as they had advertised the room I had reserved, with pictures on their website (staff at Compass said that you do it all the time). The pictures were of a clean, inviting, and newly renovated space however, when I arrived, I did not receive the room that was advertised. The room given was still clean with everything that was needed, but dated and worn. No doubt this room will undergo renovations as part of the resort’s project. I wish them well in an industry that has struggled to recover from some heavy challenges in recent years. The real issue for me is the fact is that I felt deceived by Booking.com’s marketing. This is not uncommon, of course, in regard to the way companies strategize to sell things. I am sure that it was in the fine print somewhere that it was possible I would not receive the room pictured (I was tired and stressed when I made the last minute decision to head out of town a day or two). I am also aware that this is what disclaimers are designed to do; to make sure that responsibility doesn’t fall back in the company’s direction and ensure that the customer has no recourse which is “just the way it is”. If we are being honest, this marketing strategy is false advertising. It is just an untruth no matter how much lipstick you put on the pig. Simply put, bait used to sell what can be sold while dressing things up like you are doing the consumer a favor. It seems harmless. Comparatively, when we consider the many other issues in the world, it is a hotel room.

I enjoyed myself a lot, but what I really don’t like is the little metal lip when you walk in from the balcony I fell almost broke my knee, but other than that I had a really great time. The facility is very clean and needs to get better mattresses for your back, but other than that it was all around. Great trip Would do it again

We had the most amazing view from our room. The bed was comfy and the hotel had many amenities right on site. So many pools and hot tubs, restaurants and a bar. The staff was friendly and hard working.

Our room was right across from the elevator and it was a little loud. There was some construction going on but we couldn't hear it, just had to take routes around the hotel to bypass it. We had to call the front desk and request clean towels and for the trash to be taken out but they were quick and accommodating about that. We liked so much more than we didn't like.

The room was great! The pools were fantastic. The cleaning staff was great!

The attitudes of the workers at the front desk were ridiculous. We've been staying here for over 20 years the same week EVERY July . We've never been treated like we weren't welcome here until now. Pool staff in the red shirts try to micro-manage the pools too. So, so rude!! Never how is your stay going always had something negative to say to even TO THE SMALL children. A great family vacation but had to deal with the unnecessary behaviors of the staff. Like the door code thing went out and THEY HAD TO REPLACE IT AND she gave us Heck OVER IT!!!
