The staff were so friendly and helpful. The motel is older, some would say dated, but I love that vibe so it worked for us. Our room was IMMACULATE. So clean. The bathroom.was cleaner and had better shower pressure than most major chains I've stayed in. I travel for a living so I know. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the beach and it was so relaxing. We only stayed one night but agreed we would love to stay there again for a longer trip. The kitchenette was perfect. The room was large with all the furniture we needed and plenty of storage.

I loved the view, despite being labeled a "pool-side" view and was instead a semi-decent view of the beach and rising sun. It was such a great location, only a few feet away from the beach, and was truly a once in a lifetime experience that this motel made possible.

The kitchen was certainly the most sketchy, and the bathroom light didn't work for the first hour and a half, meaning we had to use the restroom in the dark, and shower was a little suspicious but we never dared to try it. The room itself could use some touch-ups, but overall not that bad of an experience, especially one as inexpensive with such a great location.

Very accommodating! We asked for an early check-in and I appreciated their willingness to make it happen. The room was cleaned quickly and it smelled so dang good! Very clean! The property and the rooms were clean. I don’t know what they used but my goodness, the whole place smelled amazinggg. Very family friendly! All the staff were nice and it was a nice space for the family to relax safely and quietly. Close to the beach! Maybe a 2 min walk from the room to the water. I felt very safe walking to and from the beach with my daughter by myself.

The owner is super nice and the staff as well. My only complaint is I didn’t book a room with ocean view which is my fault and has no reflection on the Vancouver. However every room does have two chairs and a small table just outside the the door to the unit which is nice with views of the pool. This was our second year of staying at the Vancouver and will be back next year! Will be booking a room with the ocean view though! 😊

Staff was very accommodating. They had an oceanfront open during our stay and helped us upgrade upon arrival. Pool was clean. Beds were comfy. My pittie was very welcome there..some motels forbid larger breeds.

My only complaint was the hot water in our shower. While showering every time, the water would get extremely hot and you had to hurry to add more cold water...then turn down the cold to get it hot again.

i like it was clean, comfortable and the bed was excellent (firm) although I do not mind if a location has older furnishings and hardware. It is on the beach like every other hotel/motel so keeping sand out of the room was a challenge. The ice machine is in the office so get some before it closes at night. Friendly helpful staff.

The outside railings should be scrubbed with a green pad or painted for a fresher look. I would replace all the metal screws with stainless steel so eliminate the rust look in the downspouts and railings..

The property was nice. It was as pictured. The shower did get stopped up. The room was comfortable. The owner does interact with his guest when he sees him. He checkedon everybody. He make sure that the parking lot clean and everything is clea. The people in the front office are nice.

I didn’t like that there was hairballs on the shower curtain. The shower curtain wasn’t wide enough so water from the shower got onto the floor. I killed two bugs.

A very honest option. You cant expect luxury as it is a 1 star motel, but I was surprised by the cleaness and proximity to the beach. Its really just a few steps away. I was having second thoughts after I booked, considering what I heard about some parts of Myrtle Beach but I was positively impressed by the place. The other people who were there were mostly families and very friendly. Easy to park and to check in and out.

The sound isolation in the room is not good. It didn't feel very private, but I understand that I might be asking too much, considering it was one of the cheapest places around.

This facility is a much older hotel. Although old and in need of some repairs/new appliances, they are clean and right at the beach. And, they are pet friendly. The staff is very nice. I've stayed here at least 12 times.

The tub was not clean - brown scum on bottom tub. Only happen this recent stay.
