I can’t say enough good things about this little beachside gem! The location is perfect—you can hear the waves from your room and walk to the sand in just a couple of minutes. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. What really made the trip special, though, were the owners. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, offering local tips, making sure we had fresh towels, and treating us like old friends rather than just guests. You can tell they truly care about their motel and the people who stay here. If you’re looking for a cozy, friendly, and perfectly located place at the beach, this is it. We’ll definitely be back.

We had night stay, to be able to extend our visit since our prior hotel didn’t have a room for us for an extra night. The gentlemen who checked us in was very pleasant and allowed us to check in 3 1/2 hours early so we could start enjoying the beach - which is directly across the street - before afternoon storms arrived. Our 2nd floor room was clean, no odors, AC was on when we entered room so it was nice and cold. Beds on the firmer side but comfortable, floors and bedspreads updated. AC not loud; it is a newer unit and functioned well. This is an older 3 story place with no elevator but with a bar and restaurant on premises. Plenty of parking. Food Mart is a 5 minute or less walk. Our tub was slowish to drain, shower head set kind of low but water pressure was good. Bath surround had been re-tiled. Plenty of and shampoo provided. Kitchen has a small older stove, newer microwave and newer apartment size fridge. No dishes, utensils etc but we didn’t need to use the kitchen. While it is an older building and somewhat outdated, I have given it a high rating for the great staff, early checkin allowed at no cost, cleanliness, closeness to beach, cost. While we did not have a pet with us I appreciated that they allow dogs as I usually travel with mine. In short, good experience and I would cheerfully stay here again!

Nothing

I was a little nervous about staying here after all the negative reviews. So I’m making this review hoping it’ll help others. The hotel/motel is run down and outdated BUT for what I paid it was fine. The room was clean (I bought my own cleaning products expecting it not to be) the a/c worked, tv has cable, beds are comfortable, it’s a 1 minute walk to the beach, and bath towels and rags were provided. The pool was clean as well. You can obviously tell there needs to be updates or needs to be renovated but if you’re looking for something cheap for 2-3 days this place will do. Just keep your expectations low. The owner/staff were nice and accommodating when I needed more towels and another key. We were also able to get a 2nd parking pass for our 2nd car as well. We didn’t try their restaurant next door so I cannot review it. Fridge and microwave worked as well.

Run down, needs renovations

Great location, has an onsite pool with lounging chairs, short walk to beach with a nice view of the beach as well, quiet environment, smooth easy check in process, no extra fees the price is what it is, restaurant on site offering american food as well, on site bar, rooftop sitting area with chairs and extremely nice and accommodating hotel staff! Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again!

There wasn't anything that we didn't like!

I was happy wihth my overall stay. I do believe the rooms could use a little TLC. Small things such as another trash can besides the one tiny one, cleaner and fix things like broken toilet paper holders. Other than that it was great.

The stairs are not even or level. I fell going up the stairs. Carrying our food and whatnot. Ruined it all. Mostly because I feel the stairs are due for some TLC as well.

I liked the convenience of being able to cross the street to the beach!! I was not sure what to expect since I've never stayed at this spot before. For last minute reservation the spot was better than I expected to be honest!! The guy at the front desk was exceptional and the food at the restaurant was awesome!! I would actually stay at this spot again!!

Room had a stove/oven, microwave and a decent size refrigerator. Clean when we arrived. Really liked playing in the pool. Staff was really nice and loved how there was a restaurant right next to us that had a pool table and stayed open late. We could easily walk to the beach.

Tub didn't drain well and drawers were a little dirty on the inside.

A couple minutes walking distance from the beach, can see it from the hotel. The staff respects your privacy in your rooms, keeps the rooms clean & are very polite & accommodating. Stayed here twice in 2 different rooms, both were spacious with plenty of storage space. Love that we had a stove to use & they kept the fridge/appliances clean. The pool was always very clean too, a nice view to see leaving your hotel.

Due to myrtle beach weather the rooms get a little moist & in some rooms further from restaurant the WiFi connection is pretty weak. Other than that no complaints for what I paid for.

The rooms were well up kept and the air condition was great.

Was there for 5 nights and room service only dropped off towels once. But not a big deal to me.

Was located at good location, we didn’t have the breakfast went out to site see. We would definitely recommend staying.

The cabinets was a little dirty in the inside toilet hardly flushed and the shower needed fixing. Other then that it was very clean we had no issues.
