Directly across from the beach. Clean rooms. Bar in the lobby. 8 foot outdoor pool. Great staff from the owner to the housekeepers. Everyone was so welcoming and nice. Our front desk clerk Katie was awesome and made my kiddos stay more enjoyable. Would recommend the Malibu sunset if going to the bar and don’t forget to tip the bartender. 🙂

Didn’t have a tub just a shower that was my fault for not looking at details better, but even with our toddler we managed. Was not aware of the $150.00 deposit upon check in. First we were told by the manager the machine would not accept our cash app card because it’s not a bank card but after asking her to try to run it through it accepted it. Not sure if she just didn’t want to take it or what was going on.

Clean room, helpful friendly staff. Really enjoyed the location. It's a little north of the "busy" part of Myrtle Beach, in a more residential area, so it's quiet and there's less traffic. Minutes to several restaurants, convenience stores, souvenir shops, grocery stores, etc. Shower was amazing with good water pressure and consistently hot water. Nice bar downstairs by the pool. Coffee in the lobby in the morning. Strong wifi throughout the place. Definitely plan to stay here again.

Elevator was very slow. We would go down to the lobby in the morning and sometimes it wasn't open till 8am. Other times, it was open earlier. Seemed like no rhyme or reason.

Beach front location, quiet area, cosy room and comfy bed.

Cleaning, exchanging towels and throwing away trash only happens when guests are in the room, otherwise it's not done and we had to go ask for fresh towels and waited whole day for trash to be taken away from outside of the room.

Cabana Shores is in a great location, in a more residential area, so it was quiet and not crowded at all, but it was close enough to wherever you wanted to go. The hotel had a great ocean view with an easy short walk to the beach. The staff was awesome and very accommodating on a couple of requests we had, and that in itself will have us coming back. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. We will definitely come back.

There were some glitches with the elevator, but they seemed to get it sorted out. We did have trouble with our door not latching, which we didn't notice at first. A couple other guests said the same thing. I honestly feel it was humidity/salt that made the latch sticky. We just double checked the door latched, and if not, opened the door and giggled the inside handle up and down a time or two, and that seemed to take care of it. Just a note, NEITHER of these things will prevent us from staying here again! The good definitely outweighed a couple of minor issues.

We took the room with efficiency, meaning we had a little kitchenette and we asked for a stove so we were able to have proper breakfast and snacks. The room was spacious and comfy. There was some moisture and leakage in the bathroom but honestly it didn't bother us too much. The elevator was not working some times but the technician was on it and fixed it. we loved the cosiness and empty swimming pool. The beach is also not crowded at all and really nice. Good free coffee in the morning. We loved the laundry room for a small fee (washer and dryer). You can tell that the hotel has been renovated. Note that the cleaning is only every door days but someone came every day to change Towels and provide toilet paper. They were all kind and humble.

Some water leaks in the bathroom, it seemed like coming from the room above. We saw a breakfast room that was not used, it would be nice if they offered some breakfast.

Easy access to the beach. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Inside the hotel looks more inviting than the outside suggests.

No option to turn the balcony light off. Couldn't see the beach at night like I like too due to the bright light above my head. Apparently I'm not the only one cause looking at the balconies some had used a shirt or something to cover the light. I didn't cause I'm short and couldn't reach it. Otherwise I would have done the same. Also the pool was clean and we did use it but the pool area does need some work/maintenance.

The room was great, plenty of room for everything and the bed was comfortable. All very clean and exactly as I hoped. The pool was clean as well and really lovely to use, also the location was ideal being just across the road from the beach, we will definitely be back :-)

The bathroom at the pool didn't seem to be cleaned daily, it was full of leaves and looked like no one had been in to check for a few days. Not dirty though, just needed sweeping but then made me feel like it hadn't been cleaned so that just needs some attention moving forward I think.

Love that the hotel is located on a quiet section of the strip with beautiful unobstructed views of the ocean. Small hotel means easy access to pool and the beach is super close too with boardwalk and outdoor shower. Pool area is nice and kids loved it. Rooms are spacious, clean and beds are comfy.

Wish there was a small broom and dustpan in the room for easy cleanup throughout the stay along with a larger trash can. Also wish there were more hooks in the bathroom or a clothes drying rack to hang wet bathing suits and towels.

The ocean view was great, and the area of the beach was quiet and peaceful. Even though there is a road between the hotel and the beach, it is a short walk and there is very little car traffic. My room was quiet and my stay was relaxing. I didn’t hear any neighbors or street traffic, until someone close checked in with a baby. Every once and a while I would hear crying, but it was minimal. Most of the occupants seemed to be couples, and there were not many small children, which was nice. I got a GREAT last minute travel deal that made this a great value.

I was confused about the on-site “bar and bistro” as it didn’t seem open. There seemed to be a bar connected to the checkin counter, but it didn’t seem as if anyone was working. My shower never would get warmer than room temperature. I also would have liked clearer directions on trash disposal, especially since housekeeping is only after four days of stay.

It’s a reasonable hidden gem that we love to stay at every now and then!

This was our fifth time booking here never had an issue until now. Things were broken in the bathroom and shower head needed to be clean. Spider webs were in the corners of the bathroom. The air unit was noisy and sounds like a bunch of water was in it. We were there for 5 days and 4 nights with one set of towels. You have to get ice before the lobby closes.
