The staff are so friendly and professional, especially at Reception. Breakfast was self service with ample choices and a fantastic rooftop view

The Spa is extra and over priced ! I though I would be able to use it as part of my stay, but No! I didn't use it so I can't comment on it.

The location is super, pretty much right in the Old Town - barely any walk at all. There's a supermarket across the road for anything you might need. The room was perfect, spacious. The beds aren't the most comfortable but it was totally fine for a few nights. I had a balcony which was a really nice treat. The room was cleaned every day too! I didn't avail of breakfast any morning, but the hotel itself is nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend for a short stay!

The location is great and we were upgraded to the newer rooms on the 5th floor which were excellent. Close to the Old town, but in a quieter side street this is an excellent location. Not an early riser when on holiday I only had the breakfast once and it was tasty with plenty of options and very good value. Views from the Terace Bar and spectacular and it is a lovely place to spend an hour or two. Really good value bites and complimentary plates served in the bar.

Having to pay for the pool downstairs was a bit of an off putting thing. Hopefully when the new terrace with pool is opened it will be included in the room price.

The location was great, the staff were excellent. The location of the breakfast room, it has a beautiful view. We had a small car and for a fee were able to use the small hotel garage. Bonus mention, room recently renovated and had a BEAUTIFUL shower and bathroom. The room itself was very nice and it had a large balcony! I would recommend this Hotel!

Two concerns, This was an upgrade for us, as far as our Hotel bookings. We purchased Seaview with a balcony. What we didn't know was our room was next to the bar and on one night it was quite loud. Thankfully the staff notified them and it was turned down immediately. The other concern was there was not a coffee maker in the room. a surprise as other places we stayed there was one available, Yes ,we were close to breakfast room and that may have been the reason for not providing it. It was a miss in our opinion!

Great location, nice hotel, amazing rooftop bar! Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room is fine, we even had a small balcony. We didn't try the spa, so no info on that. Just stayed for a night, was perfect for that.

The soundproofing isn't great, especially the door of the room. We could hear everything from the corridor, every door being opened closed. And we could hear our neighbors talking through the wall (but they were pretty loud to be honest). It was okay for one night, but that would annoy me during a longer stay.

Everything! Location was very near the old town, no more than a few minutes on foot. Staff were very welcoming. Our room was ready 3 hours ahead of check in time. Bedroom was a reasonable size, comfortable bed. Breakfast and upstairs terrace were really fantastic, with an amazing view of the old town and sea. A very good choice of delicious sweet and savoury items, including pancakes! Pretty good value for money considering the location, free parking right outside the hotel and the great breakfast.

The shower was warm but could have been hotter. View of construction works in progress from our bedroom window, but not a problem, no noise disturbance.

The Hotel La Margherita is a perfect base for exploring Alghero: the old town and the port are just minutes away. The hotel was scrupulously clean, the breakfast was good, and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Staff were helpful. We were able to park inside their basement garage not far from the hotel. Not a lot of parks. Very central accommodation, lovely view from rooftop bar. Beds were comfy and room with a balcony. We asked to change our room and they were happy to do it. Aircon worked well and good to have an elevator.

The first night we had a room with a horrible smell.

I travelled with my sister and we spent three days in Alghero. The hotel is perfect ! It is ideally located. Near the most important points of interest of the city and close to public transport. The room the bathroom are clean and the service is very good. Always polite and ready to help ! Don’t doubt it and go to La Margherite !

The hotel needs renovation. It is kind of shabby. The bathroom had no drain on the floor and flooded after every shower. The SPA area is small and is paid separately.
