The apartment is within nice walking distance to the old city and close to to the sea promenade. The brekfast is served in the cafe which is very close and is open early in the morning so if you plan excursion you can still have your very tasty cornetto and cappuccino. The apartment is clean and nicely decorated. The fridge and electric kettle are available un the common space.

Everything was very good. My only concern ( may be not justified because we had not problem) is parking- we were able to find place within 300meters from the apartment but when we tried to park- it was like one place in the nieghbourhood and we felt we were lucky - probably it depends on the time of the day and the season but I can imagine that sometimes finding the place for the car can be difficult.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is excellent—close to everything yet peaceful enough for a good night’s sleep. Whether you want to explore the city, find a good place to eat, or just take a nice walk, it’s all within easy reach. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel at home and were always ready to help with tips, directions, or anything we needed. One of our favorite features was the balcony, which offered a lovely view of the local street — perfect for enjoying a coffee in the morning or relaxing in the evening while watching the atmosphere of the neighborhood. The bed was comfortable, the Wi-Fi was reliable, and everything was well-maintained with attention to detail. Overall, a perfect place to stay if you’re looking for a combination of great location, excellent hospitality, and a comfortable, well-equipped room. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved this little hotel! The owners were incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful, providing us with tons of good tips on the best restaurants and beaches to visit. They also let us borrow beach towels and an umbrella for the beach. The view from our balcony was gorgeous, and we found the bed to be quite comfortable. Breakfast down the street at the nearby cafe was great and consisted of a croissant (with choice of various flavors / fillings / toppings) and a coffee (espresso, cappuccino, latte, etc.). You could also order other things like eggs for a small additional fee. Lastly, the location is perfect -- just a quick two minute walk down to the water, about ten minutes walking from the old historic city center, and maybe 15 minutes walking to the harbor. We highly recommend this hotel!

It is a nice little apartment in a good location, about 10-15 minutes walking from most of the restaurants and shops. The hosts, Dario and Margherita, were very nice and helpful. They provided drinking water which was much appreciated. Every day, they straightened up the room, gave us new bath towels, took out the trash, and gave us extra toilet paper. They let us borrow straw mats for La Pelosa beach, which you must have because they don't take away the sand from the beach (or you can get a fine). It was quiet and the bed was comfortable. We were able to find free street parking in late June by searching around briefly. There was also pay parking in Piazza di Mercede close by if needed. There is a small elevator for bringing your luggage up to the 4th floor.

Property has elevator, so you don’t have to worry about carrying the luggage to 4th floor; It is very close to the beach and city center, like 300 m distance on foot; The hoster / owner of property is a very friendly sir, talkative, giving suggestions about the city, recommendations… we had a great time chatting with him. Wish we had more time to have a wine in their terrace to talk more about life, history and the city itself. The dogs are also cute! :) They greet you with sweeties typical from the city!

We didn’t know we had to pre schedule the arrival time.. the instructions weren’t very clear about it, but fortunately they were at home to meet us.

We loved the authentic italian ( sardinian) appartment with the retro lift and 1920s style. We also loved the host Dono and Margherita making us very welcome and ensuring we knew everything we needed to know. The breakfast was served in a local Italian cafe and we felt like a local! Great proximity to the old town and for getting out and about in our hire car.

We liked everything. The only unexpected was that it was not a hotel roof garden but instead individual balconies. But that did not matter when we saw and felt the comfort and cleanliness of the room.

The property is just amazing, clean, comfortable and the perfect location! The building itself is a lovely mixture of new and authentic. We had no issues finding free parking in the area. Dario and Margherita are amazing, welcoming hosts who made our trip magical with all the advice they gave us on things to do and see! We recommended Alghero Roof Gardens to all our friends, family and anyone travelling to Sardinia!

The hosts were very welcoming and gave us all the information and help we needed to have a great stay in Alghero. The room was great and cleaned every day! Breakfast at the friendly cafe round the corner made mornings very easy and we enjoyed watching the sunsets from our balcony. We appreciated access to the fridge and kettle too. We also borrowed their parasols for the beach which was perfect! Thank you Margherita and Dario!

Lovely modern property just minutes walk from the town centre and beach. Hosts were really nice and helpful. Spotless clean with Good size balcony, power shower and comfortable bed, what more could you ask for.

The host was really nice and gave a warm welcome while arriving. He also gave some tips for the stay in alghero. The view from the balcony over the city was really great. There was a lift to use to get up to the 4th floor. You could have breakfast in the nearby café, where the locals also linger for espresso and cornetto.

The water in the shower could have been a little hotter. Which is certainly not a problem in summer. It would be quite pleasant in autumn/winter.
