We had an amazing experience at Charming House. The staff were incredible - especially Marco, Federico and Rosana - and made us feel very welcome. They also gave us recommendations for the best beaches and places to eat in the area which meant that we had an even more enjoyable time in Alghero. The hotel itself is extremely tranquil, with an amazing pool overlooking the Mediterranean sea. I was actually shocked by how quiet the rooms were; given that each night the hotel hosts guests from outside to eat and drink at its bar, you would think it would be more noisy. However, the rooms are completely sound proofed which led to us having many restful nights of sleep while we were here. Finally breakfast was lovely, a good range of cooked breakfasts and fruits. My wife and I were celebrating our 2nd anniversary and the staff of Villa Mosca made it a perfect trip.

Literally nothing.

The villa is an oasis of elegance, calm and peace, with an amazing view over the sea. We loved every single minute there and looking forward to come back soon. We enjoyed the infinity pool, the cocktails by the pool, the comfortable bed and pillows, the breakfast with good selection of fruits, sweets, Italian cheese and meats, the freshly made coffee, but above all it’s the staff that made this whole experience one of the kind. Always kind, polite, smiling and ready to accomplish anything we could think of. Thank you so much to all of you (Federico, Rosa) and especially Marco( we can’t imagine this place without you)!

Location is amazing, beautiful view at the sea and walking distance from the old center. Hotel and swimming pool are truly beautiful and the rooms are spacious with comfortable beds.

Shower sink left the bathroom smelling a bit like sewage, in the beginning it was unclear that eggs could be ordered free of charge at breakfast, and the swimming pool could be cleaned better on the sides (green layer is forming). Also, there will be many events and weddings in the weekends, making use of the garden and terrace next to the hotel.

The hotel is just a 5 minute walk to the heart of old town with its many shops and restaurants. The room we had was an amazing corner room on the 1st floor with the best views over the ocean and old town. The outdoor area and pool were fabulous and the team at the front desk, thanks in particular to Marco were extremely helpful. The breakfast was great and we were extremely pleased we could secure an off-street car park adjacent to the entry gate. All in all....a wonderful hotel.

Absolutely stunning views for the coastline and lovely garden. Hotel’s staff is fantastic, very friendly and helpful (thank you!) Small house we stayed in was very comfortable, we apprieciated small kitchenette, I loved it had a cute little terrace to enjoy the outdoors with more privacy. Breakfast is very good.

Finding a parking spot may (or may not) take few minutes. On the other hand - it’s because it’s very close to centre, just on its quiet side!

Staff were helpful and courteous providing good info on local restaurants, etc - a special mention for La Saletta just around the corner, well worth a visit for imaginative and tasty food to a high standard. Villa Mosca has a fantastic location overlooking Alghero complete with beautiful sunsets by the pool. The hotel is an easy walk into the old town and is convenient to all major sights etc.

We stayed in one of the apartments which were spacious and comfortable however they include a small kitchenette with a non-functioning hot plate and no tea/coffee making facilities so were effectively useless.

The villa is perfectly located with a breathtaking sea view. The aesthetics are perfect for a vacation, from the colors, to the trees to the infinity pool and gardens. We took the studio that had a private garden with a sea view. The highlight were the amazing staff Federico, Marco, Rosa and Antonella, who made the experience memorable! We will definitely come back to this beautiful villa

Very nice boutique hotel, in a great location. The staff are so nice and very attentive. The breakfast selection is very good and they had an excellent selection of gluten free items.

Our room at the top of the property only had a window into an internal courtyard that anybody else could walk into at a moments notice, so we had to keep the blinds shut which made the room feel very claustrophobic.

The villa is perfectly located just outside the old city walls with a fabulous view over the sea. The villa rooms are outside the main house but are bigger and more comfortable. Fabulous dinner at La Saletta restaurant which has collaboration with the villa.

Evening front desk could have been more helpful in suggesting sights to visit in Alghero.

The staff are SO KIND, they cannot help you enough and are a credit to the hotel. And the hotel bar is excellent, we had the most delicious negronis and espressos. The pool area is breathtakingly beautiful, the purple flowers that grow in spring are wonderful. A great location near town but still quiet. A very special hotel.

Breakfast wasn’t replenished past 9am but the homemade cakes made up for it! They are wonderful.
