The rooms are very centrally located, with a splendid view overlooking the sea/port of Alghero. When leaving the "Palazzo" block, near to the Duomo, you immediately enter the restaurant and shopping area. Also the ramparts / boulevard along the sea are only few steps away.

This was our first experience with a self check-in, through an online access code. While the system worked fine in the end, it's a bit of a nuisance to look for an access code (and procedure) in the shimmering evening light in the midst of such a vibrant city. Pre-packed breakfast was not exactly great, but an excellent (N)espresso with such a splendid view is still a great start of the day.

The location is completely amazing! It’s in the heart of the old town with restaurants and shops immediately outside the front of the building and views of the harbour from the bedrooms at the back. No street noise can be heard in the bedrooms at the back.

The toilet didn’t flush properly but there was a bucket in the bathroom which I presume was there to be used to ‘help things on their way’! The shower had mouldy grout. These really are comments for the owner, neither thing would stop me staying again, I loved it!

I loved this place because it had the bones of an old palace with modcons! The massive windows in my room opened up to a view of the picturesque harbor. My room was massive, clean, safe and comfortable. It was centrally located in the heart of the piazza civita. I truly enjoyed the autonomy of staying here; I came and went as I pleased. No staff was visible (or required) but beds were made and ready to eat breakfasts supplies were replenished each morning. Every room had a mini fridge and a dinette. I could not have asked for more. Rates were quite reasonable, given location and quality. I enjoyed this stay a lot!!!!

Nothing!

The location was perfect, right in the centre of the old town, close to restaurants and a great view of the marina from my balcony. The owner allowed me to drop my luggage off early before check-in, which was very kind of her. The property was clean and well equipped.

Its location comes with some drawbacks, such as the noise from the street. You can hear every conversation and the music from a nearby bar. Although the music stopped at 10.30, which was a blessing. Tv in roon 2 did not work, i believe i saw this in another review also, just a pity it was not rectified. There was a bit of a musty smell in the kitchen around the sink area. Other than that, i enjoyed my stay.

Location and views Towels changed every day

Bed linen of a poor standard. Had to request a change on day 5. Lighting in corridor poor. Looking for switch. Should have been sensor. Difficulty accessing on arrival. Lift not working . Door open on Level 3. Had to go upstairs with phone torch to close door. Bit of an ordeal. Helpful lady on other end of phone but not a great start.

Everything! From location to cleanliness to packaged breakfast snacks to an espresso machine, waters, loved the room, #5 the view, wow, the contact with our host was simple and prompt. Definitely happy we chose this property!

Not a thing to dislike

The best location in the pedestrian place, wright in the middle of the center.,with street parking places near. A big beautiful room with a great view, confortable and big doublebed bed. There is a beautidul common living room and a kitchen with a big fridge that i could use. The best place to stay in Alghero. The bathroom was perfect for us, big and modern. Only if you have a problem with intimacy, be awre that is not a door between barhroom and bedroom, only a courtain. Some juice, water, cofee and nice treats on the round table in the room.

The ambiance was perfect, location amazing. Fabulous views over the port/marina and right in the old town. Great shopping and restaurants and it was a unique experience to stay in an historic building in Alghero. We appreciated the quirky historic feel of the apartment, the shared spaces, the artworks and amazing ceiling. As a group of three couples travelling together it was perfect.

Parking was a challenge.

Ther was no door on the toilet

Can be noisy from the street until past midnight. Selection of packaged breakfast items could be better/higher quality. There was a terrible smell in the kitchen. Also, I really have to question the choice of artwork in the bedroom.
