Subject: An Unforgettable Honeymoon at Hotel Caesar Augustus in Capri My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Caesar Augustus in Capri for three nights as part of our honeymoon in Italy, and I can't say enough about how incredible the experience was. From the moment we arrived until our departure, everything was simply perfect. We were upgraded to the most stunning Junior Suite upon arrival, which was such a delightful surprise. The suite had two balconies—both offering breathtaking views of the sea, Capri port, and showcasing the hotel grounds. Honestly, the moment we walked into the suite, it took our breath away. It has to be the most beautiful hotel room we've ever had the privilege of staying in, and we've stayed in some pretty amazing places around the world. The service at Hotel Caesar Augustus is exceptional. Every staff member we encountered was warm, welcoming, and attentive, with a special shoutout to those working by the pool who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The complimentary shuttle service to and from the ferry port was an added bonus that made our arrival and departure seamless and stress-free. As for the hotel itself, it’s simply stunning. The views are to die for, and every detail of the property feels special and thoughtfully designed. It’s located just a short 5-minute walk from Ana Capri, a charming and much quieter town compared to Capri, with more of a local feel. We dined there two of the nights and enjoyed some fantastic meals. The town has plenty of shops, restaurants, and cafes to explore, making it a lovely place to wander. Capri town is only a short 10-15 minute taxi ride away, and the hotel was more than happy to call a taxi for us whenever needed. This made it easy to explore the more bustling parts of the island, while still being able to retreat to the serene oasis of the hotel. All in all, Hotel Caesar Augustus made our honeymoon truly unforgettable.

this is just a suggestion. A few days before, we stayed at Hotel Miramalfi in Amalfi, where they provided guests with branded Miramalfi pool flip-flops and a beach bag. We thought it was a thoughtful gesture and nice touch, and perhaps Caesar Augustus could consider offering something similar in the future.

Elegant, history of the building, quiet area, magnificent rooms and views, comfort of the beds- each room is unique- the views are breathtaking. Great shower- the grounds are beautiful- the infinity pool and views- the breakfast was fantastic. Minibar included. The staff was so professional and friendly and go above and beyond to make the stay fantastic- Antonella, Alessandro and Juan were fabulous. Driver from port and then return (we went to Capri to stay after). Unforgettable location, views and our Cliffside suite.

Nothing- wished we could have stayed longer!

Absolutely everything - the location speaks for itself - nothing else to be said there. The staff were the big surprise. So attentive and couldn't do enough for you - and done with a smile, that was genuine. We walked to another 5* down the road and we were greeted with rudeness and felt so unwelcome just walking near the place. Read a few reviews that baffle me as it couldn't be better.

Lower the price of the drinks slightly, people will buy more.

This family owned hotel was such a gem - perched on an amazing cliff with unbelievable views that never got old! It was such a perfect combination of fresh and clean and old world beauty. Our room looked at Ischias, Mt Vesuvius and all along the Amalfi Coast. We met the owner upon check in who was lovely and welcoming and everything about our stay was perfect. We loved the proximity to walk up into Anacapri and it was always easy to get into Capri town via taxi. The pool area is stunning and the dinner there was over the top incredible. Service was impeccable especially from Laura who checked us in, and everyone made you feel like they were truly happy you were there. It was nice to be outside the busy area of the Island and really enjoy the natural beauty of such a special place. We dream of coming back!

OMG THIS PLACE IS HEAVEN ON EARTH!!! The pool is the most relaxing and gorgeous place you can imagine. We loved every single thing about this hotel and are already planning our next trip back. It’s worth paying for, honestly simply spectacular!! And the staff goes above and beyond- the process of complimentary pick up/drop off from the ferry was so smooth. I really can’t think of any detail overlooked.

Having to leave and not booking enough nights there

Best hotel in Anacapri. Precipitous views, if you stay Cliffside. Wifi and cell connection is not so great. but nice opportunity to tune out of devices and live the life of Axel Munthe. Great breakfast. Extremely romantic hotel. Wonderful staff. Fine owners. Very attentive. Love this place!

Nothing -- except having to leave, eventually. No wonder that Farouk of Egypt moved in there for a while. Check out the Farouk Master Suite at the hotel, if you can swing it.

The Caesar Augustus in Anacapri is stunning -- beautiful visually, tranquil and elegant throughout. The outdoor areas are inviting, views of the sea mesmerizing, and the expansive grounds that surround the villa are ripe for exploring. This property has it all including staff and management dedicated to fulfilling your every whim, responding to special requests with charm and expediency. Guests are well taken care of here.

The new evening menu at the onsite restaurant could be a little less formal with fewer "high end" culinary options. The Chef is wonderfully talented and very creative, but, when dining there for a week, sometimes a soul-satisfying, richly crafted Lasagna may be all that is desired. That, plus a simple green salad and a hearty Brunello -- perfetto!

We had a wonderful time at the hotel. Staff went out of their way to make our stay incredible. From the warm greeting, tour of the facilities, introduction to the owner, grapes in bedroom and beautiful rooms. Beds were comfortable and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The concierge was extra helpful in arranging our transfer the next morning to the Naples airport and everything was smooth. We left early in the morning and were going to miss breakfast and they were nice enough to set up a small table of breakfast goodies for us to enjoy before our long day of travel. The entire experience was exceptional and I highly recommend this hotel in Capri, Italy. Thank you for everything.

Luxury hotel in an absolutely beautiful location with the most amazing staff. Booked to stay here for one night and booked a chefs table overlooking the Gulf of Naples to propose to my partner - she loved it and we can’t wait to come back again. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful time! Would recommend to everyone!
