We reeeeeally liked our stay at Monte Solaro B&B. That was our best stay we have ever had. The room is spacious, clean and the view is breathtaking!!! You can easily go by bus from Capri to Anacapri and in 5 minute walk you will be at the hotel. We were looking for a quiet place without crowds of tourists and because the hotel is located in Anacapri this area is quiet and comfy to stay. The host is wonderful, he was really helpful and we could come to him with any questions, he also gave us the best recommendations what to do during our vacation, we are so grateful for such a hospitality and this is the 1st time we got such a personal approach. Thanks a lot for everything!

Monte Solaro B&B is an absolute hidden gem in Anacapri. It exceeded our expectations in every way on our honeymoon trip. Costanzo has created a beautiful sanctuary pretty much as high up the mountain as you can get, so bring your walking shoes! It it far away from all the touristy hustle and bustle of the port area, which makes for a really private experience (only 5 rooms at the B&B!) The views at sunset took my breath away. The B&B is very clean, with gorgeous gardens and a great swimming pool and lounge area. The breakfast each morning was delicious and included many options. Communication with Costanzo was great via WhatsApp. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you, Costanzo and staff, for making our stay so pleasant.

Everything was wonderful!

Cozy place with friendly host, who picked us up from the bus stop in the evening and gave assistance when we got lost in the Capri. The bus stop is close to the apartment. The view from the apparent on the sunset is stunning, since the hotel is situated on the slope high above the Anacapri city. It is also close to the hiking route to Monte Solaro. The room was big enough for 2 people and very clean. The only problem was with constantly high humidity coming from the bathroom, since the hood was not efficient enough. The breakfast had not only sweet options, but also yogurts and sandwiches. And local juicy and fragrant oranges made me completely delighted! The bed in the room was super comfortable. Hot water was available upon request, cold water - always.

The view first and foremost. The BnB is run by a lovely Italian family and only has a few rooms (5 I think). Generally the host was accommodating and easy to communicate with - he assisted us to book and recommend restaurants (La Zagara was excellent) and checked in each day with our plans etc. Dinner on their terrace on night one was a highlight. Pool is refreshing too! We LOVED Anacapri, it's all walkable (big caveat here being it's a mountain!) and this BNB is close to the chair lift that takes you to Monte Solaro (top of the mountain). The breakfast was nice (Crossaint, coffee, breads and cereal). Air con (tick), quiet (tick). Also the Lido del Faro beach club was awesome (another host recommendation)!

We had an amazing stay, and I don't like pointing out negatives but hey, for the cost it's worth noting.....Rooms were totally fine - but there were a few things we requested that either were overlooked or unavailable. Wifi was out in rooms (understandable at the top of mountain) but available in reception (OR just use your 5G), requested ironing board (didn't get one), asked for a couple more pillows as only one each (said there were some in wardrobe that weren't there, didn't get them). This BNB is also a hike! We enjoyed it, but not for the unfit or faint hearted. Host does pick you up from bottom of hill and helps with luggage which is great - just FYI!

My wife and I stayed at Monte Solaro B&B for 5 nights and really enjoyed every minute of it. The building actually looks new. Our room was a good size with a very good ensuite. we even has a semi private terrace with table and chairs. We had daily housekeeping just like a 5-star hotel. The sunset view from the terrace is fantastic. probably the best in the island. The owner, Costanza, and his father, Antonio, are the best hosts. Costanza was kind enough to offer us ride from and to the bus station. We'll certainly stay there if we happen to be in Anacapri again.

This was by far the best place we stayed in Italy. Constanzo, the host, was super helpful since the beginning of our stay, very attemptive to the details and our needs, and very warm and respectful. The place, as soon as we arrived took our breath away. It was stunning, and the best view you could expect in Capri. Everything was perfect, from the room, to the ammetities and host. Really recommend this place to ANY person, but its is HIGHLY recommended for couples. It is romantic and so beautiful.

The only thing that was a downside, is that it is far up hill, but again, Constanzo picked us up with a car, so we didn't need to walk all the way up with our luggage. When we checked in and out, he always took us with a car so it was a pleasant place! It is just an amazing experience and even when you have to walk down or up, it is fun if you are with the right person together. You can stop every here and there, and admire the view as its stunning in that place.

The hotel surpassed my expectations. It is family run and everyone made us feel so welcome. There was an amazing view from our terrace, the pool area and the restaurant. The food was homemade and really delicious. We ate there a couple of nights. It felt like a peaceful oasis and it was lovely to have the pool area and sunbeds to come back and relax on. The bed and pillows were comfortable so we slept well. The bathroom was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed and breakfast was very good too, especially the coffee. Thank you to all at Monte Solaro for a great experience 😀

Amazing location, perfectly placed for both a hike to Monte Solaro or to explore Anacapri. The host and the staff were most welcoming, and not only provided plenty of good info on how to best enjoy our trip, but also helped us with every request we had. All in all, a very nice stay!

Given the general humidity of the location, maybe it would be advisable to provide in the room some lemongrass products to ward off mosquitoes. Otherwise, all good!

We loved how we felt we were in a family home being treated as friends who were visiting. Costanzo was available at any time for anything we needed, his father greeted us every morning for breakfast, his mother provided fresh ingredients for meals and his brother cooked the most authentic food. The property is simplistic but wonderful. It is also close to buses to get in to Capri and there are many restaurants and coffee shops near by… and of course, Gelato. Costanzo recommended and booked us to eat at a nearby restaurant with lemons all over the garden, we absolutely loved it!

As many have reviewed before, there is a big hill to get to the property and whilst Costanzo helps on arrival and checking out with bags etc, it is a big trip up in between. We didn’t find it too difficult as we are active but some might. I also think there could be more vegetable options at breakfast but this is a very minor suggestion!

A gorgeous family run bed and breakfast. Costanzo went above and beyond to make sure our stay on Capri was fabulous. He organised a private boat tour around the island with stop offs at some amazing swimming spots . He’s recommendations for restaurants and how to get around from place to place were extremely helpful. The property has incredible views Of Anacapri, it is a bit of a walk up a steep hill in the heat from the town but again Costanzo was very helpful and would pick us up from the bottom . Our room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was plenty for us. A highlight was having one of the family cook us dinner on the last night. I don’t think you would get a better view in Anacapri for dinner . It was also great to have the pool to cool off and relax in. We would definitely come back and stay again if in Capri
