We loved everything about this hotel. As soon as we drove through the gardens & witnessed the stunning view for the very first time. We had a lovely room with a terrace & it was very clean. The bed & the linen were heaven.

The breakfast was OK, not to our taste but a good choice if you desire

This hotel is a grand old lady with a breathtaking view. Although dated the rooms are nice and the staff very helpful. Good breakfast. 5 min walk to Anacapri and the chairlift to Monte Solare.

Everywhere else you need to take the bus or (an expensive) taxi.

This place is incredibly tranquil and picturesque. The rooms are spacious and airy, offering a comfortable retreat. The on-site restaurant is truly outstanding—it stands out for its exceptional value, even when compared to other dining options on the island. And to top it off, the bustling commercial street is just a short, pleasant stroll away.

Pine cones were dropping from the pine tree on the balcony, and I narrowly avoided getting hit by one. Additionally, the door lock, showing signs of wear and tear, can be quite finicky to open.

Amazing place! Very clean and well-maintained, with exceptionally kind staff. The hotel sits at the top of Anacapri in a charming old villa furnished in an elegant, old-fashioned style. We stayed in a superior room with three (!) small balconies, each offering stunning views over Naples Bay and Mount Vesuvius—absolutely unforgettable. The room was freshly renovated and included a hot tub next to the double bed. A few details were unfinished, but they didn’t affect our comfort at all. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of savory choices, and the view from the breakfast hall was just as breathtaking. The property also has a beautiful garden, terrace, and a pool with a bar—perfect for relaxing after sightseeing. The free transfer from/to the port is a huge plus, saving you from expensive taxis or crowded buses with luggage. We will definitely be back soon. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

The only downside was that breakfast coffee was from an automat, with no option for a fresh barista-made one.

Beautiful location with amazing view and convenient walk to shopping area and restaurants. Quick ride from the ferry. Room was clean and comfortable and quiet at night. Love the old charm of the hotel and breakfast was great with many options.Pool area nice and clean with a patio to order lunch very affordably priced. I would come back and stay here and highly recommend it.

A ramp to get your luggage in at the entrance. I used the side entrance opposite the pool where you had no stairs.

This property had the potential to be stunning. The room was beautiful and luxurious. The bed was very comfortable and the jacuzzi bath large, large, large. The convenience to Anacapri and transportation was great. We received a complementary ride from Marina Grande which otherwise would have been $90 euro. Very nice.

Although this was considered ‘off season’ there was no excuse to not have the grounds cut, pruned and groomed for the guest they were open to serve. It was completely grown over and the open area was not furnished for sitting out. Yes it is windy, but not the entire time. There was unfinished open flooring work on the front terrace that was dangerous. When you go on a dream trip to Capri and what at one time would have been the top of luxury you expect at least the lawn to be a dream. There were a few other petty issues but the personnel were nice. The gentleman especially was our favorite.

the view is fabulous and so is the location but the hotel in generel is in a very poor condition

there was a ceiling light missing in our room and the sofa bed was rickety and extremely uncomfortable which at 400 Euros a night one would definitely not expect this. The pool area is rundown and there is dusty and very noisy work going on. In the corridors there are various boxes and materials scattered - some directly in front of our room door. It is quite tricky to find people - when you want to order drinks for example. Very long wait before anyone shows up.

This place is well worth the booking, especially if you can stay 2 or more nights. We booked a room with a private balcony (you can see your neighbours but the view is worth it). Easy walk to the local piazza and buses are the most economical way to travel around the island. Staff are very friendly and patiently explained all our questions. Once the day trip folks are gone for the day it is very calm ans serene here in Anacapri. Despite the narrow roads we had no issue with walking. Monte Solero was well worth the price, you can walk up for free but we took the chairlift.

The bed was very uncomfortable, both of us tossed and turned the first night. Small price to pay for the amazing views, stately hotel and fantastic local food.

We absolutely loved the property! It's quite expansive and the lobby offered iced lemon water which was nice after a long, hot day of traveling. The pool was large and there were quite a bit of sunchairs available. The breakfast had so many options and the view from the breakfast room was overlooking the harbor beneath and was so beautiful. I personally had great interaction with the staff, especially the owner, who offered to drive us himself down to the harbor so we could catch our ferry instead of waiting for the bus.

Our room itself did not seem to match the beauty of the property. It was quite small and plain. Also, be aware that you need to pay 6-8 euro to use the sunchairs---I was surprised that we had to pay for them since we already paid so much for the room. Be aware: it will cost you 30 euro to take a taxi up to the hotel from the harbor. The cheaper option is the bus; for 5 euro it will take you up to the hotel, or around there.

Great location in Anacapri. 10min bus ride to Capri Town. We had a great family room with stunning views.. Big swimming pool is great with a nice pool side restaurant. Good breakfast and we also enjoyed the hotel bar with live music in the evening
