We loved the shuttle pick up service to and from the port to the hotel. Friendly and wonderful staff. Beautifully decorated room with amazing views of Capri. Comfortable bed and pillows.

Be prepared to walk a lot to and and from the hotel. You have to walk up and down hills, and steps. The hotel isn't accessible ... even if you have a sprained ankle. Make sure you are fit and can do the trek down the beaten path to the hotel. Taxis are not able to drop you off in front of the hotel due to the narrow streets. Other hotels have the entrance right out front, but you will pay more.

We stayed at Hotel Il Girasole in Anacapri and we’re so happy we chose it. The view was absolutely breathtaking, the location was peaceful, and the entire staff was kind and helpful—special thanks to Domenico for being so attentive and friendly! At first, we were a bit unsure about the location, but getting around was very easy. Just a short walk from the hotel, you can catch frequent minibuses to both Capri town and the Marina. We were three female friends and felt completely safe and comfortable during our stay. Everything was perfect—we honestly couldn’t find a single negative thing to say. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Capri!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the centre of Anacapri which is the nice and quiet part of the island. It started with the very well arranged pick-up from the harbour. The 3 person room is very spacious and cooled by aircon and shadow, the breakfast was very nice (with the best coffee!) and the people were very friendly and of great help to us. The views are also amazing and give you the opportunity to watch some amazing sunsets!

The room(nr7) had poor ventilation and no circulation possible. High humidity level. Clothes remained damp even when using the aircondiotioning. Keeping front door open did not help much.

We loved the view from our room, the location of the hotel also meant that it was nice and quiet at night. Also having a restaurant meant that we could relax without the need to go out for dinner.

The only thing I would have liked is to add a bit more selection in the restaurant menu. A bit more variety.

Loved the location ! Close enough to the bus station in Anacapri and such a pleasant area to relax and enjoy the quiet nights. Beautiful property and the pool was very enjoyable. The staff was very lovely and helpful, they even went out of their way to make sure we had breakfast before the normal hours in advance of our early ferry ride.

The room was a bit dated / traditional but there was nothing wrong with it, and the kind staff and beautiful property more than made up for it.

I liked lots of things. The most thing I liked about my stay was the shuttle bus. It made our life easier going to and back to the Marina grande hassle free since we have big luggages. Moreover the hotel is a 15 mins walk from piazza Vittoria where you will find yourself in the center of Anna Capri moreover few minutes away from the busses going to the faro and blue grotto. Bus station 300 meters away if anyone planning to go to the Marina grande, Marina Piccola and Capri. Let’s talk little about the breakfast. The breakfast is so amazing. All the bakeries are fresh and yummy. They have plum from their garden I really like it. They have variety in the breakfast I can’t ask for more than that. The room was spacious and the view is stunning on Gulf of Napoli. The pool is amazing with plenty of sunbeds for tanning. Overall I enjoyed my stay and definitely I will stay I. This hotel when I come back to Capri

Very spacious and clean. Lots of open space to walk around and benches to sit and enjoy the sunset from. The pool was very well kept and the bar is great as well. The staff were extremely helpful and very nice. The location might be a bit far from the centre for some people but it was perfect in my opinion. Not too close to the rush and not too far from the bus station that can take you literally anywhere on the Island. You can also walk to Anacapri centre which was great. If I or any other family member comes back to Capri, we’re definitely going to stay here again.

The single beds were a bit small. To be expected I know, but the mattress was sliding off the bed while I was sitting up so that’s the only small complaint which honestly everything considered, does not matter at all.

Hotel arranged/provided its own transport from Capri port to the hotel - and back. Very helpful and appreciated! Location of hotel is in quiet area of Anacapri - fabulous! Away from the bustle of Capri! Lovely and quiet! All staff were exceptional, providing personal, helpful advice on tours, walking trails, best times to go, etc. Nothing was too much trouble! The room was fabulous - spacious, quiet, with a very comfortable bed! The pool area is amazing - a great place to sit with an Aperol and watch the glorious sunsets! Breakfasts were delightful - fresh fruit, juices, cereals, eggs, various meats, cheeses, pastries -and the best coffee in Italy so far! A big thank you to all the staff at Il Girasole - you are amazing!

The area of the city was beautiful. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. The pool was a great place to unwind. Views were unbelievable. The town was easy to get around and the restaurants numerous. We loved it and will tell our friends about it.
