Everything was excellent from start to finish. Throughout, Pepé ensures all guests are looked after. The room was ideal, with a nice terrace with great views over Positano. There was breakfast provided on each day which was prepared by the hosts, a really nice start to the day on the terrace. It is within good distance of the main areas in Positano, with multiple ways to access depending if you prefer roads or steps. 10 minutes using steps and you are down near the beach. Pepé was always contactable throughout and helped us with suggestions when needed, which were helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Or recommend to someone else.

We stayed for three nights and had a wonderful experience. The room looked exactly like the pictures — bright, clean, and comfortable, with a very cozy bed. Breakfast was served on the terrace each morning with a stunning view over Positano. We loved that you could choose between a sweet or savory breakfast, and everything was fresh and delicious. Another big plus is the location — the SITA bus stop is only about a 4-minute walk away, and you don’t have to climb too many stairs to reach the accommodation, which is a real bonus in Positano. Pepe was an excellent host — very responsive via WhatsApp and always ready to help. We also joined him for a Vespa sunset tour, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip! We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Positano.

Thank you Giuseppe for your hospitality and warm welcome! The room was incredibly beautiful, and the terrace was like something out of a dream, with an incredible view of Positano! We didn't want to leave the terrace... Giuseppe took care of everything, and we were delighted with the gift of a beach bag with towels for the beach. The breakfasts were excellent, with a variety of meats, cheeses, pastries, fruits, and an incredible cappuccino! The room was conveniently located near the beach, and we enjoyed walking there while taking in the views of Positano. We will definitely come back here again! And we will stay at Giuseppe's! The photographs do NOT do these beautiful rooms any justice. The rooms are very spacious. Big comfy beds with beautiful bedding, plenty of fluffy pillows. Plenty of space to put your clothes and bits and pieces. Lovey bathrooms with big mirrors and lots of light with plug points making it easy to do your hair and makeup. Both bedrooms lead onto good sized balconies with the most wonderful views of Positano. Fridges in both rooms, which came in handy as I bought myself some G&T and kept it in there. We went to Positano with our two boys and so we had both of the rooms and they were pretty much next to each other. Coming into the property there’s a lovely courtyard with a coffee maker and more tables to sit at. Every morning we had breakfast prepared for us with coffees, juice and either a sweet or a savoury breakfast, out on the balcony, no better way to start your day! Our hosts Pepè and Maria are completely lovely. Pepè met us off the boat as we sailed into Positano from Naples. He was so attentive and helpful and always just at the end of the phone. One day I got quite lost and he was going to come and get me! But I figured it out. Anything I needed I only had to ask like for an iron and ironing board for example.

People on some of the reviews were complaining about the steps, but that’s Positano! And if you want the views then you need the height! However you can get the blue bus (Positano Interno) from the main square every 30 minutes (get a gelato while you wait from the shop opposite) for 1euro 30 and it drops you off close to the apartment.

This gem was tucked away but only a 15 min walk to all the downtown destinations. Pepe (Guiseppe) was absolutely amazing. He was very responsive on Whatsap and helped us get a porter for our luggage, which I HIGHLY recommend as Positano is all stairs and hills. He helped us with the name of bus stops, directions and told us more about the city in general. He was very helpful and set us breakfast each morning! You can tell you in a genuine interest in making sure his visitors have a great time in Positano.

The walk to the beach. I saw ppl mention that it was a 15 min walk to the beach. Please bear in mind this is what the gps says but its is not your average 15 min walk as you are climbing stairs the entire way. It took me 30 mins to walk back from the beach one night and when I arrived to the room I was drenched in sweat and my calves were on fire. Mind you I'm pretty fit, at least I thought lol. If you want the view be prepared to pay for a taxi if you're not up for a walk.

We had the most incredible breakfast and an unforgettable stay during our Amalfi trip, all thanks to Pepe and his wonderful family. From the minute we arrived to the time we left, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and at home. Pepe was incredibly hospitable, giving us great recommendations on what to do and where to go, and even met with us in the center. The room was clean, spacious, and the view was spectacular. The breakfast was one to remember. We would definitely recommend this place to family and friends, and we can't wait to return!

The property was beautiful. It was a little challenging for us, as we were not completely aware of its location and we struggled at first to get around. Pepe was very helpful in making sure we were taken care of. He even picked us up in the port area when we arrived. The views are amazing and the breakfast served on our balcony was lovely. We highly recommend Casa Mandara. It was gorgeous!!!

Large room, comfortable bed and amazing terrace with view! Pepe the owner, was very easy to contact and extremely helpful. Good location, walkable to everything, although there many steps to get up and down from the main piazza.

Some things in the bathroom were broken, like hooks and shower door. The shower temp was inconsistent. You could hear the neighbours quite clearly at night, ear plugs were needed.

Casa Mandara was very clean and beautiful, with an excellent view from the balcony. Sitting on the balcony at night was a dreamy experience. The hosts were wonderful and very accommodating, even offering us breakfast a bit earlier than usual to account for our early departure. We had a wonderful experience at this B&B.

This place is wonderful, but does feel a bit far away from everything. The stairs to get to and from the main city center and beach can be intense. Lots of exercise. Also to note, you cannot see the sea from the balcony, but it’s still gorgeous.
