The location was great for walking into town. The bus stop is close, which can take you to neighbouring Sorrento and Almalfi. The staff are helpful and friendly, breakfast on the balcony is great.

No real issues, the location may not be for everyone, due to stairs or hill climbs.

Villa Palumbo exceeded our expectations!! The room, the facilities, and most of all, the staff !! Very attentive, helpful, and accommodating with our needs and beyond!! Could not say enough of positive things about this place and its family operating business... we had a personal emergency situation after checking out of the Villa Palumbo.... the owner and the staff went above and beyond to help us out ... highly recommended!!

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing always having a bright smile on their faces. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Positano to enjoy the Italian hospitality. The hotel is well connected to two bus stops which are just stone throw away.

The location was perfect! It is on the main road so it was accessible if you’re taking a taxi to or from the property. Loved the balcony off of the room, it was nice to just sit and relax and enjoy the view— just make sure you apply mosquito repellent first. Breakfast was great, they had a lot to choose from, and you can even have it delivered to your room if you wanted. The room looked small at first but it turned out to be just enough for us and our 4 luggages. Staff was very nice and helpful! We’ll definitely be back with our family next time. Would highly recommend!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Villa Palumbo. The view is simply stunning — waking up to it every morning was a real treat. One of the highlights was enjoying breakfast on the balcony each day; the food was delicious, especially the croissants! Our room was clean, cozy and well-maintained. The air conditioning worked perfectly, the water pressure in the shower was great, and the towels were always fresh and soft — all the little comforts were well taken care of. What really made our stay exceptional was the staff. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and friendliness. A special mention goes to how they handled a situation that meant a lot to me: I had accidentally left behind a necklace that holds great sentimental value, and the staff not only found it but also helped arrange for it to be sent back to me. Their kindness and attentiveness truly went above and beyond, and I’m so grateful for their help. I would wholeheartedly recommend Villa Palumbo — you won’t regret staying here!

I could not recommend staying at Villa Palumbo enough! The service was excellent from the moment we checked in - we were shown to our room and given complementary prosecco and water to enjoy on the wonderful terrace. The views from the hotel are wonderful. We only wish we had booked a longer stay! We opted to have breakfast brought to our room to have on the terrace, and it arrived very quickly. The breakfast included a variety of meats, cheeses, croissants, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, juice, cappuccinos per our request, and other bread items. Everything was lovely!

The beds were not very comfortable, but it seems that is a common issue in Europe in general.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was also very clean. Breakfast was excellent. The location was perfect. Near the bus stop to go up and down the hill. Even if you want to walk the whole way down it’s doable. It’s a perfect example for great value for money. Everything is in the details, you can request breakfast in your room and there are big bottles of water in the mini fridge that are free of charge. We loved it and would recommend it to anyone visiting Positano looking for a comfortable, affordable and romantic stay.

The room was very nice and we enjoyed the balcony! The breakfast was top notch and the staff were all very accommodating and friendly. We love the bottled water in the fridge and the loan of towels and umbrella for the beach. We were given a great recommendation for dinner not a far walk from the location and one of our favorite meals there! They gave us a map and informed us about the bus services! They really went out of their way even offering us a coffee way after check out as we returned for our shuttle. They also looked after our bags after check out!

Villa Palumbo far exceeded our expectations. We were greeted by the host, who was so kind and informative. There were three males that we interacted with and the housekeeping staff were also so kind. They were quick and extremely responsive. We had million dollar views that, I only wished we had stayed longer. The breakfast was a 10 out of 10, the terraces that we enjoyed breakfast on were a dream!

Balcony and the view were amazing! Breakfast was also delicious an enough.room was big and comfortable but shower was really small.

Room was generally old but acceptable. Actually location was good because there is a bus stop near but we did not use it so much because we rented a scooter. And the Most important thing is the mistake that we did it 😄 WALKING TO THE HOTEL!! Google maps shows just 300 m and we thought that it is okey we can do it but DONT WALK DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT! There are too many steps!! Maybe staff could be more helpful in this topic.
