Villa Franka has an excellent 360 degree rooftop pool area with superb views of Positano. The staff are very friendly and the complimentary golf buggy was greatly received and timings for this service were reliable.

Breakfast can be busy and they offer quite a lot of cakes, which seemingly don’t get eaten. That said, it was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. The bar is too stark in design but the bedrooms and spa are lovely!

Upon arrival we were greeted with some refreshments. We were shown around and taken to our room. We loved our room and beautiful all marble bathroom. Everything was super clean. The bed was very comfortable. In our room there were slippers and pool slippers. We went to the roof and looked over the beautiful bay. In the mornings we enjoyed wonderful breakfasts with home baked goods. One morning I requested something which was not readily available, and someone ran out to get it for me. And that sums up the extend of the service at Hotel Villa Franca. They want you to have a perfect stay. Also the guy who drove us to the village a couple of times was so sweet and accommodating. We really had a very relaxed and wonderful time here.

Nearly every detail of HVF is picked and designed to be stellar. To say the service is top-notch would be an understatement. They have a golf cart service to help you get around Positano, the staff is there to help you with even the smallest of issues, and the pool/rooftop view shows you a 360 degree view of the entire city. This property truly is the top hotel in Positano.

As good as our stay was, there were a few things that could have been made better. The room is quite small, so if you have large suitcases, it's very hard to walk around in the room. Also, there was no full length mirror in our room, which for the money you're paying, you fully expect. That's the only reason I did not rate it a 10/10.

Great view and great rooftop bar. Pool was small but nice. The ratio of staff to guests was amazing. The staff attention made up for the small rooms.

We had a vague sewer smell in the bathroom. The light was hooked up to a fan that cleared it, but when showering, the sewer smell creeped up. It’s a shame because otherwise our experience was fabulous.

It was expensive! 25€ for a spritz is steep! But it is Positano so kind of expected.

utterly amazing location- the views were ridiculous, even when compared to the walk of the gods and the remainder of Positano. An afternoon by the pool was other worldly. The rooms were comfortable, staff impeccable and service second to none. negative reviews concerned me, but they were clearly unfounded. if you are a vaguely reasonable human you will adore your stay at this fabulous hotel.

Position, wonderful views, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable large bed, large bathroom, housekeeping staff did an excellent job.

Shuttle system to and from Positano centre was not available all the time.

If you travel to Italy you know not to expect a large room. I still think it was big enough. I booked late and my room view was good. The staff was fantastic. Don't miss the restaurant with only 7 tables, the best view and the chef's 5 course dinner. It was fabulous!

There are 2 buildings. I wish I had been in the main building.
