The balcony and the view were amazing. A beautiful direct view of the ocean. The service was excellent. The front desk associates were very helpful with suggestions and directions. The breakfast buffet was beautifully displayed and was delicious. Mary was so pleasant and delightful each morning and remembered our coffee preferences. The porter who brought our luggage down the steps was great!

The room was a little small but it was what we selected. We would definitely stay here again, but would choose a larger room.

View was great and balcony was awesome. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and we really liked the room and location of the hotel. The bellman was just an awesome person and went above and beyond assisting with our luggage.

There were a few matters which did distract away from an otherwise great stay - (i) the toilet constantly gurgled at night which was disruptive to sleeping, (ii) the vent in the bathroom permitted noise from the outside walkway to filter in the room which, at times, was very loud and almost felt like the people talking were in the room, (iii) the split mattress in the bed was not comfortable, and (iv) the quality of the breakfast food was not very good and actually caused my wife and I to experience stomach issues.

The room was very comfortable. The balcony and the view from my room was spectacular. You could see the beach, the boat docks and the other half of the town. The breakfast was really nice and the location is fantastic. Not far from the main road and only 200 steps away from the town and the beach. Positano is one big giant hill and they are lots of steps everywhere. But, this hotel is in the perfect location.

The view from our balcony was amazing! Each morning we were able to watch the sunrise on the water and boats! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet with seating overlooking the water was wonderful.

The restaurant dinner menu was fancy and limited. After all day exploring it would’ve been nice to come back to our hotel and had some less fancy food options.

Our room was beautiful, spacious, modern decor, in an old world architectural style, simple yet well appointed. Upon arrival, an unsolicited bottle of Prosecco was delivered, which we drank on our charming terrace that had an amazing view of Positano. The restaurant, La Scalinatella, served a beautiful and generous buffet for breakfast, but our dinner there was one of the best meals we had in all of Italy. A creative and delicious menu that was unmatched, all with an unbelievable view. With all of this though, I must say, it was actually the employees of Albergo Miramare that made it so special. The restaurant manager, Renato D'Urso, catered to our every culinary need. The men and women at the front desk, (how I wish I remembered their names) were warm and friendly and arranged for all of our transport and activities throughout our stay. They were wonderful! The porters and cleaning persons, too, felt like family. On a whirlwind tour of Italy, Albergo Miramare was definitely one of the highlights and I will definitely return!

The stairs.... we loved the location, the views the staff. We will never stay again because the stairs put a huge damper on our trip. We hated leaving in the morning and hated coming back at the end of the day. It took so much out of us... not worth the effort

The room was on the smaller side, but the balcony 100% made up for it. This was prime location, short walk down to the main beach and a couple steps up to the main road. Obviously there were times in the heat where the walk back up was rough BUT nothing like staying higher on the cliff. I really loved this spot, very safe, clean and accommodating with check in, check out and LUGGAGE!

Views were amazing, great selection for breakfast. Comfortable bed. Easy to walk up or down the road to main shopping area if you don’t want to walk down all the stairs.

The room backs on to the road down into Positano so you can hear road noise. The room is separate to the main hotel but it is advertised.

The facility and bedroom were beautiful and traditional to Italy. The room was comfortable, clean, and the view was outstanding. The staff were absolutely amazing and helpful. The view is breathtaking and great breakfast in the morning. There is also a gentleman to help with luggage from the main road when you arrive.

The location is perfect for the amazing views of the town. Given the natural landscape, unfortunately there are a lot of stairs required to access the hotel and the town center. This is typical for almost every hotel here though, so this is not unique. This is just something to be very aware off before you commit, the stairs are exhausting.. for all ages.

The room was a great size. The balcony & view were fantastic! The hotel itself was so lovely & very clean. The staff were excellent. The dining room where we had breakfast (with a view) was perfect! June was a nice time to go, not too busy.
