It's a beautiful old hotel, well maintained and comfortable. It's a bit of a hike up from the road, but the gorgeous views from the breakfast room made it worthwhile. I liked being some distance removed from the overly touristy part of Positano, down by the beach. The breakfast was excellent, and the serving staff were very friendly and helpful.

The terrace view from our bedroom was a little blocked by a service building, so a room on a higher floor would've been better. I was disappointed that the beautiful rooftop bar was closed when we were there, but that's understandable as it was low season.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Casa Albertina, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! Every meal was delivered promptly and with a smile, showcasing not only delicious cuisine but also a commitment to exceptional service. Speaking of meals, the breakfast was a highlight of each day! The variety and quality of the food were outstanding, allowing us to start our mornings off on a delightful note. Moreover, the cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional. It was evident that the staff takes great pride in maintaining a pristine environment, which added to the overall comfort of our stay. The art and decor throughout the hotel were simply stunning, resembling something straight out of an architectural digest magazine. Each piece felt thoughtfully curated, contributing to a sophisticated yet inviting atmosphere. Overall, Hotel Casa Albertina exceeded all our expectations. It was a perfect blend of stunning views, top-notch service, and exquisite design. I can't wait to return!

Quite simply when we entered our room the view took our breath away, the best view we've ever had. Our favourite moment of the holiday was having breakfast on this balcony. The staff couldn't have been any friendlier, giving advice on restaurants and beaches, we really didn't want to leave. If you come to Positano you MUST stay here!!

We had a great view of the city and the sea from our balcony! The staff was very friendly and kind, the breakfast was good, great cappuccino, great homemade desserts! It was also very clean. It’s an old building, that’s why it’s even more special.

Nothing bad to say about the property, but about Booking. com!!! After we checked out I found on Google the official page of the hotel and got shocked and angry to see that the price per night, was almost HALF of what we paid through booking.com!!! How is this possible??? I knew they charge something extra, but to almost double the price??? It’s scandalous! It was mu fault I didn’t think to check before, but definetly will do that in the future! Very dissapointed!! So you guys be carefull when booking!!!

The location was great and we had a perfect view of the sea and Positano from our terrace. Everyone who worked there was helpful, courteous, and kind. The hotel itself was charming and quaint. The daily breakfast was a real treat. In short, it was wonderful.

The one and only thing that isn’t perfect about Casa Albertina is the 70 steps up to get there. However, without them, there wouldn’t be the beautiful view, so it’s worth it

The view from the hotel balcony was very pretty. You can see the whole coast. But it was also a long walk up hill and stairs from the shops and restaurants, and it’s a one way road, so taxis tell you it’s quicker to walk up the hill. So it depends on your preference. There was breakfast in the morning with a nice variety, and was pretty good. Our room was spacious.

The bed and pillows were very hard, which happens in Italy but not expected at nicer hotels. It’s overpriced for what you get but that is due to the location. The same price in another city would be a 4 or 5 star hotel.

Very welcoming staff and the facilities were perfect. Amazing location & beautiful view. Positano is a must see and Hotel Casa Albertina is a great place to enjoy your holiday. nestled about halfway up the cliff side at the harbour. you get an amazing view of the Town of Positano. Each room it appears also had its own private balcony to enjoy a drink especially at night time when the town lights up

it was expected of course. but the amount of steps to the property are challenging. There is a luggage service from the harbour though but I would recommend walking the roadside up to the property rather then take the steep shortcut steps. The bed was too hard but other then that we loved the hotel. Will stay again for sure.

absolutely gorgeous boutique hotel. Quant rooms, with everything you need and if you’re lucky enough to book one of the rooms with the view than you will be WOWED! The staff are so kind and are there 24 hours a day for anything you may need. If there is anything you need assistance with like getting your clothes pressed or booking a driver to Rome they have you covered. The location is so great only a 7-10 walk to the beach and all the main restaurants and shops. Also the daily breakfast is all we needed with lots of variety and the most gorgeous morning views. We will stay here every time we come and we can’t wait to come back!

No iron or steamer available on the property however they have staff who will do it for you for 3-4 euros a piece.

Hotel Casa Albertina has a fantastic view over Positano, beach & town. The hotel was clean and comfortable and well maintained for a historic building.

The hotel cannot change the geography of its location, this is part of what makes it spectacular. But, any guest of Hotel Casa Albertina must be prepared for the steps to access the hotel on arrival and every time after your outings. But the reward for the effort is a great hotel with a wonderful view.

We booked 2 rooms one was renovated and one wasn’t. Both were great. Beautiful balconies and views. Our bed was not great but that was in the room that wasn’t updated. Breakfast was perfect and the staff was wonderful. Our favorite part was the rooftop patio/bar every evening.
