I did so much research and booked so far in advance, my expectations were super high. This was for our 10 year wedding anniversary. I am still blown away almost 6 weeks later. It’s the type of place you don’t stop thinking about. The pictures don’t do it justice but I don’t think pictures will ever do it justice. If you get a chance to stay here, do it! Choose this place!! It’s worth every penny (and yes, I realize they aren’t giving it away!)

I loved the view, it was breathtaking. The staff, the location, the cleanliness, the energy and the pool!! Oh the pool. Honestly, when I saw the pictures I was like, meh, I got there? Blew me away, the chairs are so comfortable! Also the restaurant- it’s amazing! I’ll be thinking of this place often, it made our anniversary trip a trip of a lifetime.

The views from Villa Magia are the best in Positano!!! The staff were all so helpful with communication early on with getting to the property, and special instructions on drop off point. Providing a phone to communicate needs and having a team at your service at all times was amazing. They go above and beyond for a memorable experience! The food is great with suggestions of their top recommended restaurants, as well as the grounds are all breathtaking!

This place is excellent, nothing but great things to say! The views are well worth the hike!

Where do I start? Villa Magia was exceptional all the way around! The staff made you feel like family, the concierge service is beyond exceptional, the food, the view, the room, the location ...all amazing! Giuseppe, Manuela, Enrico, Avilo and many others were unbelievable! Dinner at Luna was incredible- I wish I remembered our server's name but Salvatore and Annalisa were funny and charming! If we had known all of this before we would have stayed our entire trip at Villa Magia! The only problem was our view and room were so fabulous, and the staff was so amazing, we didn't want to leave the property to explore!

I am pretty hard to impress and set pretty high expectations. I have ZERO complaints. Stay at Villa Magia, you will NOT be disappointed!!!!

We arrived late after dark in the rain. They had someone at our villa to greet us and show us how everything worked in the villa. Prior to arriving they contacted us. The communication was impeccable. We felt very comfortable about arriving late because of the incredible service. The best part about the entire stay in Villa Magia was the people that work for the owners as well as the owners themselves. Their service to towards their clients was probably one of the best ex experience I've had in my 60 years. Thank you for a fabulous day. The girls enjoyed every minute of it.

The property was gorgeous, food delicious and location just perfect, but the absolute best part of Villa Magia is the staff! They go above and beyond. Their thoughtfulness and attention detail cannot be highlighted enough. We felt like their favorite family members who had come for a visit! My daughter got married close by and they were so gracious and let her take pictures from their gorgeous terrace

Get to the gym because the stairs throughout Positano are no joke! Worth the sore calves

Unbelievable views around every corner. A beautiful and clean hotel tucked away from the noisy areas of the city for an absolutely romantic getaway. The breakfast was incredible. And you have to have dinner at the restaurant on the property - Luna. The pool area is amazing as well. Tremendous service and speaking specifically for our room, the terrace overlooking the city and ocean is one of a kind.

The spa area amenities such as the hot tub and the hot/cold pool were really more for show than actual use, but that wasn't a huge deal for us any way. The pool side service could have been better.

Staff was absolutely fantastic- very friendly , accommodating but also descret alowing for privacy. We had the family suite and had a beautiful healthy breakfast mornings on our terrace with an amazing view. The pool area and lounge chairs were great. I have to rate this and the best hotel I've stayed at.

We didn't like the bathroom sinks- too over designed for their own good and so not very easy to use. Water splashing all over and the hot was to the right side - not the standard left. Also need more place to hang towels and cloths in the bathroom.

We booked the 2 bedroom apartment/villa, no need for stairs direct access from the road. Amazing location and breathtaking view. The place is well furnished (very new), we even had a small kitchenette and a refrigerator (not a minibar). Can’t say enough about the staff they were super attentive and helpful in every mean. They placed an I phone in the villa for easy communication to the reception (via WhatsApp) for the guest enquiries or room service. We had our breakfast at their restaurant (much recommended ) the view is incredible. I liked everything about this place and will definitely visit if I’m back.

Everything was perfect

We loved everything about Villa Magia. The concierge went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful, arranging transport and luggage pickup, making lunch and dinner reservations, and all around ensuring we had a great stay. The facilities are great and the view from the main terrace is the best in Positano in our opinion. We liked that the hotel was accessible to the center but not right in the middle of the crowds, and our stay felt very relaxing. Also highly recommend their terrace restaurant Luna, excellent menu and again great service.

Nothing. Price is high but expected in Positano. Would 100% stay again if we come back. We didn’t use the pool areas much but would have if we were there longer.

The breakfast in our room on the terrace was wonderful

There were a few odd features in white was otherwise a beautiful, suite. For instance, the sink in the master bathroom was very odd. I understand the aesthetics as a designer. But its functionality was very poor. And there was a continuous odor from the drain. I did not see a trap. The odor was quite unpleasant. There was too little counter space in the master bathroom, when shared with my beautiful wife! The main living room was beautiful – but there was no way to dim the overhead lighting. And there was no independent room lighting. So we pretty much kept the room dark. I’m sure it seems like a small detail, but the fabric Shashes at the foot of the bed, combined with the metal footboard, made for a few bumps in the night.
