Our room was beautifully designed. We were lucky enough to stay in the room with a spa bath and this faced out onto the large terrace. Although the spa bath was quite small for two people, it was lovely to be able to relax in it after a long day. The bed was comfortable and there was a large tv at a good distance. The views are incredible from the terrace where you can enjoy breakfast but also a lovely lobby bar to enjoy breakfast if you prefer! Honestly the staff were all lovely. We ordered lots of room serviceThe location isn’t bad, we went off season and still managed to find a couple of restaurants in walking distance. Medittaraneo if you want seafood and Ristorante C'Era Una Volta if you want deliverious pizza and prawns and a lovely atmosphere. The walk to the main beach is about 15 minutes if you follow the main road down.

The bathroom had a sewage smell as there wasn’t any ventilation in there. The walls are paper thin so be prepared to hear your neighbours and the staff walking around. During hot days you really need some sort of shelter from the sun like an umbrella on the terrace if you want to enjoy the views. On our last day we had breakfast outside and we struggled to find shade in the full sun.

My favorite! I would definitely come back. It's in a great location, my room had a spectacular view and a jacuzzi! Gian Luca was very kind and explained where we could eat and how to get to the other coasts. 10/10 Great breakfast and excellent laundry service. Thank you for making Positano a perfect place! Absolutely nothing. I recommend that those arriving by ferry give their bags to the people below, and they'll take them to the hotel. (Porter) Good service!

Ocean view from the balcony. Hotel room renovated. Everything new and modern. Near good restaurants and the beach. As Positano is located in a mountain, you will have to climb a stair to return from the beach. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel that take you to main beach

What a beautiful hotel. We wanted somewhere with a balcony and a view of the water, and this lovely hotel did not disappoint. Loved our clean and comfortable room that had a huge shower. Breakfast was delicious. The staff were all friendly and helpful, especially Alissea, who gave us heaps of useful information on what to see and how to get around. There is a bus stop directly outside the hotel if you don't want to walk to the town centre. Alissea also organised a transfer to Naples Train Station for when we were leaving. Would definitely stay here again.

My family and I stayed at Hotel Pasitea for four days in July. My husband and I had a double room and our four daughters shared a room (2 twins and a double bed) down the hall from us. Everything about our stay was fantastic. Both rooms had a large balcony with a gorgeous view. The bathrooms were nice and spacious and everything was spotless. The cafe in the lobby is excellent. They serve a delicious breakfast every morning with pastries, fresh fruit, sausage, smoothies, cereal, and coffee drinks made to order. We also enjoyed afternoon drinks at the same spot- perfect place to sit outside and people watch. Hotel Pasitea is about half way down the cliff. We walked to several restaurants above and below us, and to the beach clubs several times. You can also jump on the bus for a few Euros if you don't feel like walking. I highly recommend this hotel, we had the best time here!

There's not much we didn't like. The staff and facilities were great. I guess if you don't like walking, maybe reconsider staying in Positano, as it's part of the experience.

Ahmed was so gracious and kind when my sister and I showed up at nearly midnight on our first night. He was so wonderful, as were the rest of the staff!

Location and the view was stunning, clean rooms with wonderful terrace. Stuff are amazing, cheerful and helpful. Thanks for Ahmed Abdel Gawad for his help and attention to details. I will visit the same hotel for sure my next trip.

Everything was perfect

The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Tony in particular gave us lots of advice and local knowledge, with restaurant recommendations and tips on how to see local sights at a fraction of the price of organised tours, leaving more money for aperols and pizza! And great cocktails in the hotel bar! Great location, about a 15 minute walk downhill into the town. Uphill walk back was good for burning off the pizza but there is a bus stop right outside the hotel to get up and down the hills if needed. We came to Positano as part of our honeymoon and it was perfect!

The hotel is beautiful and the staff are very friendly. I only stayed 1 night and arrived late and had to catch a ferry fairly early the next morning, so I can't give a full review of the hotel.

There was a lit of alcohol in the mini bar but not enough soft drinks. A better coffee in the room would have been nice.

I want to put a special word in for the entire staff, including Tony, who guided and assisted us whenever we had a question or request. On the last day we were there, he called down to the dock to confirm that the ferry was indeed going over to Capri that day (the official scheduled trips end in October). Because of that, we were able to go straight from Positano rather than taking a bus back to Sorrento for a ferry from there. A huge life-saver for the day. Tony also recommended two restaurants specifically, and both were great. I'm sure he and the rest of the staff see hundreds of faces a year, but we felt taken care of. The breakfast area, staff, and chef were wonderful, too. They made us great coffees and perfect scrambled eggs. We would definitely go back.

I can't think of anything, but here is more general advice. In Positano, you have to be prepared to do a lot of walking, and that includes lots and lots of stairs. Due to the fact that the train from Naples to Sorrento shut due to rain, we opted for an expensive taxi ride, but it was worth it. ATMs are not handy everywhere you go, so plan ahead.
