We absolutely LOVED this hotel! We booked it because of the view, and it did not disappoint. The view from the balcony was incredibly stunning! Tip - make sure you book one of superior/deluxe rooms (not the standard), as they will be on a higher floor and will have a better view. The room was very cute, spacious, and clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was good, next to a few restaurants and the main road. It is a bit of a hike down to the center of town and the main beach, but the views on the way are so stunning that we didn't even mind! I'm actually glad we stayed a little further away because we got to see so much more of Positano that way! Plus, it was nice and quiet at night. And we loved that they deliver breakfast to your room every morning! What a treat! I would 100% stay here again.

The only negative thing was the bed. It was hard as a rock. Honestly the hardest bed I've ever slept on. But we stayed in other areas of Italy on this trip as well, and all the beds were hard, so maybe it's just how the beds are in Italy?

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by this hotel’s absolutely stunning location. Nestled in a beautiful setting with breathtaking views right from our room, it was the kind of place you never want to leave. The accommodation was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable, offering everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Every morning, we were treated to an amazing breakfast, delivered right on time to our room — a perfect start to the day. What really made our stay even more special was the friendly and attentive staff. They went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect and made us feel so welcome. Special Note: When you exit the ferry, do NOT rely on Google Maps or your device to find the hotel — it will take you up a tremendous amount of stairs! Ask a local for the faster route (trust us, it’s much easier!). If you're carrying a large suitcase, take advantage of the people offering to transport luggage — totally worth it. That said, the walk is easy if you're traveling light. If you're looking for a place that combines natural beauty, comfort, and genuine hospitality — this is a must! We can’t wait to return.

Loved Everything!

Nice room in a B&B. Breakfast was pretty good and coffee/espresso with option to include more options for a fee. The Fornillo beach (straight down the steps) is quiet and nice. Staff at desk, especially Vincenzo were very nice and helpful. Great view from balcony and balcony was a nice size.

Bed hard but typical for the area. A bit more difficult to get to than I expected from Positano port, so expect to have a porter bring any heavy bags. Neighbors on balcony are close so private but not very private.

We loved the view. We loved the daily included breakfast. The room and decor was beautiful and added to the romantic vibes. We loved the lemon trees and clementine trees located on the property. We had a beautiful clementine tree on our balcony. Also flowers on the balcony railing was beautiful.

The room was a little bit small. We couldn't see the mountains on our left hand side from our balcony bc it was blocked by a stone building. Otherwise, the view of the Mediterranean and the mountains on our right hand side were beautiful. Breakfast options were limited. Would love to see more variety in the breakfasts.

We loved our stay here. The location was big for us when booking to stay in Positano although La Rosa Dei Venti was not bad at all! You’re about a 10-15 min walk downhill to the main centre and you don’t have to use the stairs to come back up to the hotel. The ladies who cleaned the room were great & the reception was very helpful. The room was a great size as well!! We had so much room with a big balcony and sea view

The breakfast is included however it’s limited to croissants and sweets, you have to pay in addition for fruit, eggs, bacon etc.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the staff were all so friendly and helpful! The included breakfast was perfect for our mornings, especially with the view from our balcony. I have no complaints!

As with any place in Positano not directly located on the beach, be prepared for all of the steps!

This place is a gem. Vincenzo is lovely and willing to give lots of advice about the area. The sea view is incredible. The breakfast was delicious. The room was very clean and everything worked well. We also liked that the location is not in the very busy part of Positano but it’s very close to everything you need, including the Spaggia Beach.

I have no complaints about La Rose Dei Venti. I would definitely return.

This place was as close to perfection as we could have wished for - the balcony view was so amazing that we choose to get takeaway and sit on our own balcony to admire the view on both nights there. The staff (Vincenzo) was absolutely wonderful and so accommodating. This will be our place in Positano for future visits!

Magnificent sea views, great breakfast and nice location on the hill - far away from the bustling main beach. Easy access to the quiet beach as well. Vincenzo at reception was fantastic, he made some great local recommendations for dinner and booked on our behalf.

This property is a gem. Firstly, the view from the spacious terrace is divine, you could sit here all day and watch the boats come and go. The location is fantastic, a few steps up to the street then you stroll down the path to the bottom of town in ten minutes. The restaurants nearby are extremely good with fabulous views. The staff are friendly and the breakfast delicious. We didn’t want to leave!
