We absolutely loved everything about our stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the room was simply stunning, beautifully designed in charming Positano style. It was very clean, cozy, and featured a large terrace with a breathtaking view of the city. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. Breakfast was delightful, and we truly enjoyed starting our mornings with a view of the sea. The housekeeping service was amazing, attentive and consistent throughout our stay. It was a lovely touch to be greeted by the porter upon arrival and assisted with our luggage to the ferry upon departure. The location is also fantastic - just a short, enjoyable walk to the center along the main road with minimal stairs. We were initially concerned about not having tea and coffee facilities in the room, but honestly, we didn’t miss them. Instead, we loved sipping cappuccinos on the hotel terrace, which offered stunning views and reasonable prices, even available late into the day. This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way and truly deserves its 4-star rating. Highly recommended — we will fondly remember our stay here and hope to return!

What a wonderful stay at Hotel Vittoria. The location is absolutely perfect. Right in the heart of Positano can get quite busy and congested however this hotel was slightly up the hill to the side. About a 10 minute walk down the road to the city or alternatively you can go down the stairs (about 250 stairs) and then walk along the beach. The nicest restaurants seemed to be along the road anyway and it’s not a steep hill so an easy stroll. Staff were super helpful, balcony was amazing, and the breakfast was quite good (some hot items like scrambled eggs and bacon, plus fruits, pastries, cereal etc). The rooms were authentic and clean. Highly recommend!

Can’t fault this hotel!

Hotel staff were incredibly friendly. The two ladies on reception were always able to help, and the two gentlemen on breakfast were very accommodating (and made excellent coffee!). The view from the breakfast terrace and entrance to the hotel was picture perfect. Our room was as expected, however we had next to no space on the terrace. The easiest way to reach the hotel is either walking up the main path from Positano and along the main road, or via the flat route to Fornillo Beach and up the 100 odd steps past Pupetto Beach Club. Whilst it might feel like the hotel is located quite a walk from the heart of Positano, we found the location quite convenient in the evenings as the better restaurants were located on the main road anyway.

It's Positano so cheap rooms don't exist, however for the price I would have liked to at least had a terrace and outside space we could have enjoyed. We were in room 55 with a very cramped corner terrace where you could barely open the doors and shutters.

Impeccably clean and comfortable. The staff is truly amazing. Great breakfast selection and delicious coffee. I loved every minute !!! There are two ways of accessing it either you climb 200 steps that are in a private beautiful path easy to walk or you can walk to the little town take a bus that will take you to the Grotta and you just walk a few steps. ( send your luggage with the experts but don’t carry it! or leave it in the rented lockers of the town your coming from and just put your outfits in a gym bag ) Great location 🥰🥰🥰

Lovely quaint hotel overlooking the ocean. Rooms are a little dated but clean and well maintained. Staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful. It is quite a few steps from the road to the hotel but they sent a porter to help with luggage and also when we were leaving early in the morning the porter was there to help so we made sure to show our appreciation. It’s also many stairs down to the beach and you can go into town that way as well. You do need to be fit to climb stairs if staying here….well worth it for the location and service.

Views were absolutely amazing. The staff were lovely and very welcoming. Their porter service was an added bonus with the amount of steps in Positano! The hotel also provided a very good breakfast with a selection of pastries, fruit, hot food, juices, coffees, etc. The hotels room were spacious and decorated beautifully. A discount for pupetto restaurant and beach club was also great. Puppetto restaurant had a great selection of food and overlooked Fornillo beach and the coast of positano. Would definitely recommend this hotel and I hope to return again one day :)

Nothing everything was perfect.

Nestled on the quieter side, Hotel Vittoria made the perfect impression of our first visit to Positano. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet away from all of the crowds but still near Pupetto beach with some steps and near amazing restaurants. It is about 20mins walk from the main Piazza and the entrance slightly secluded (just find the Nativity, and the hotel is located below after several steps). Everything about this hotel is perfect, spotlessly clean and spacious. We enjoyed coffee, breakfast and the warm hospitality the staff each morning with a stunning view. Would definitely stay again if we come back.

The staff here is wonderful. They were very helpful and friendly. Our driver called ahead of time, and there was a porter waiting to help with our bags when we arrived free of charge. The breakfast was amazing and there was a staff member ready to make coffee every morning. The view from our room was gorgeous. The staff called taxis when we needed them and responded to every request we had while there. The room, itself, was large and had 2 balconies. The bathroom was also a very nice size and the water was always hot and had good pressure.

Like most of Positano, you have to walk many stairs to get to the hotel. This is the fault of the hotel, but people should be aware. In addition, there are 250 steps down to the beach (and back up to the hotel). There seems to be an elevator that could be used, but was not operable while we stayed there. The property should get it fixed for customers' convenience. The beds were also very uncomfortable. My bed felt like sleeping on a wooden board.

Room was clean and had everything we needed for a budget stay. No view, but the little balcony helped us wash clothes. Good size, strong shower. Location was good but a little further from the centre than anticipated - take your time on the stairs, there's more than you think! The absolute best part of this place was the view from the bar / restaurant area. We enjoyed a bottle of wine waiting to check in and it was beautiful. A special breakfast the next morning which I'll remember. V friendly staff!

We received a message on the day of arrival saying we could arrange our location to be collected if we gave 24hr notice... was too late to make use of this service.

The room was lovely and a decent size for 3 adults. Nice large bathroom, spacious balcony with a beautiful view. Breakfast and coffee were amazing with lots of options. Staff were very lovely and helpful, and the included Porter service was very much appreciated.

Lift to the beach is not in working order, and those steps (approx. 250) were hard work in the heat and humidity. The aircon switching off when you open the balcony door is annoying. Having said that, I would stay there again.
