Hotel Concadora is one of the oldest and most beautiful establishments in Positano, and it radiates elegance from the moment you arrive. Our room was absolutely classy, with a balcony overlooking stunning views of the coast. While many hotels in Positano may share a similar view, what truly set this hotel apart was the extraordinary level of curated service. For my wife’s birthday, the staff went above and beyond with a once-in-a-lifetime setup — luxurious decorations and thoughtful touches that made the occasion unforgettable. The atmosphere throughout the hotel carried sophistication, warmth, and good vibes, making it a place we would gladly return to. The location is also excellent, right along the Positano road, offering convenience while still feeling private and serene.

Honestly, there wasn’t much to dislike — perhaps just that leaving such a beautiful and welcoming place was the hardest part. (Be ready for a lot of steps!)

View from the room and all areas of the hotel are beautiful. It is more of a boutique hotel. The decor of the hotel itself is very inviting and is in the style of the Amalfi Coast. The room was clean and comfortable with a lovely balcony and views. The restaurant served good food. There are daybed lounges on a patio with lovely views.

The bathroom was too small and did not have enough room around the sink. The jacuzzi-sized pool on the patio was cold-only, and not hot. It's too small for a pool, but not hot for a jacuzzi. I would suggest they get heat for cool days or evenings. One of the staff members was a little abrupt and rude while the others were kind, friendly, and professional. I would advise them to address this. Due to being a small hotel, each room has + and - to its locations. Some close to the restaurant may have more noise and less privacy on their patios, etc. Inquire about the location and what you are looking for. The masseuse was not in-house and was terrible and required cash-only payment which was a surprise that we could not pay on a card.

Just returned from an unforgettable stay at Hotel Conca d'Oro in Positano, and I couldn't wait to share my experience! **Views:** The views from this hotel are out of this world. Waking up to the stunning sight of Positano and the Mediterranean every morning was pure bliss. It’s like living in a postcard! **Staff:** The staff here deserves a special shoutout. They were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and genuinely made us feel welcome. From the moment we booked, the communication was top-notch, and they were always available to help with anything we needed. They truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. **Orama Restaurant ** The food was simply delicious. Every meal we had was a highlight, with fresh, flavorful dishes that made us fall in love with Italian cuisine. They even made sure to accommodate dietary restrictions (celiacs) **Overall Experience:** Hotel Conca d'Oro exceeded all our expectations. The combination of breathtaking views, exceptional service, and amazing food made our stay one we’ll never forget. If you’re planning a trip to Positano, do yourself a favor and stay here. The walk up from the street or down to Spiaggia Fornillo was a bit of a workout, but honestly, the experience was so incredible that the steps were totally worth it! Great workout...no gym needed.

VIEW WAS SPECTACULAR! HOT TUB ON OUR TERRACE WAS AMAZING AND A PERFECT WAY TO SPEND OUR 20 YEAR ANNIVERSARY! BOTTLE OF PROSECCO ON ARRIVAL DELIVERED TO OUR ROOM WAS A LOVELY UNEXPECTED SURPRISE :) DINNER IN THE HOTEL WAS ALSO REALLY LOVELY - STAFF WERE ALL SO NICE - HIGHLY RATE THIS HOTEL!

EVERYTHING WAS GREAT - THE ONLY THING, WHICH IS VERY MINOR, BUT WOULD BE A GREAT ADDITION, WOULD BE IF THEY OFFERED A SHUTTLE SERVICE (LIKE A GOLF KART) TO THE BEACH/ MAIN AREA. ALTHOUGH ONLY A 10 MINUTE WALK I DID NOTICE A LOT OF OTHER HOTELS OFFERED THIS SERVICE.

Restaurant food was amazing and the view from the restaurant was beautiful. The hotel was very clean. Staff were so lovely.

Bathroom because the shower was leaking and the toilet seat was broken. We paid for the breakfast however it was very limited. There was another breakfast menu which included more options but you had to pay extra for it.

great views, and it was quiet. i was also able to walk directly to the beach after going down many stairs.

i booked a room with a ocean facing terrace and there was a huge tree blocking 30% of my view. it also cost 50 Euros a day to park my rental car. there are many stairs to reach the hotel from the Parking area. i kind of enjoyed the exercise, but it’s not for everyone.

Guests should be advised that access to the hotel is exclusively via a lengthy staircase. Therefore, it is imperative that complimentary luggage assistance is prominently offered to ensure guests, particularly those who may experience discomfort or difficulty, have a seamless and convenient arrival experience.

The view was amazing with a picturesque view of Positano and the sea. You could also enjoy the view on their rooftop with a jacuzzi (not heated though) as well as the breakfast dining area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Porters also helped us with the luggage. The place felt very clean and had nice decorative touches. It was a beautiful spot to stay in.

The rooms were a little small and quite expensive for what you got - but I understand that this is Positano on the Amalfi Coast and space is a premium, all the more if you have a lovely view. Note that you have to climb stairs to reach the hotel which might make it difficult for elderly people to access.

The view was amazing. The staff was very helpful. The hotel is on a hill, but the hotel arranged people to carry our bags up. The waiters were very attentive. The staff at reception were also great. They assisted us with restaurant reservations in places where we couldn't get our own reservations. They also assisted with booking our boat tour.

Tucked up the hill and slightly more away from central Positano, this is a great place to relax and enjoy some stunning private views of Positano away from the crowds. We felt very well taken care of by all the staff and enjoyed a nice slow dinner at the on-site restaurant. We also enjoyed the rooftop bar area.

We noticed a lot of noise through the walls from our neighbouring suite. We could even hear the cleaners next door very clearly in the morning. I know it's an old hotel but this might be something to consider renovating.
