The location was the best, my highest priority was to be near the beach, as Positano can be very challenging if you have weak legs like me. It may seem like it’s expensive, but it’s actually very fair price for the location, room and the service in Positano, the city itself is very expensive and I couldn’t find any hotel that isn’t 2x, 3x or even 10x of the price, even near this place. Totally worth it, it’s actually like staying at your grandmother’s summer house (the grandma you love). The staff also were very nice and welcoming, ready to help with anything. The rooms were clean enough to even walk barefoot (which i never did ever even in 5*hotels)

not the hotel’s fault, but as an info for the people who like to sleep with open windows, it can get noisy during the night, we had to close the windows and keep the AC on at nights.

Good location very close to the beach. Many restaurants nearby. Amazing view from the balcony. Great entrance garden to seat and relax. Very clean. The receptionist was very friendly.

Extremely rude cleaning lady, when we tried to enter our room, told us to leave in a very rude way and come back in 10 minutes. She could have said it in a nice way, I am not paying 500$ per night to be treated like this. Even if it was 40$ a night it costs nothing to be nice. Was a really bed experience. Good we only stayed for two nights.

Unbeatable location in the heart of Positano. We stayed in a fabulous 2 bedroom with a large balcony that overlooked the main square and beach. Water views were spectacular. Great little supermarket below the building was super convenient. The staff were amazing, Lucia and Cristiana went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Easy stroll to the port made catching ferries a breeze. Can’t recommend Villa Flavio Gioia highly enough!

Christiana our concierge was INCREDIBLE!! The view from our suite was SPECTACULAR! The location was just steps from ferry, resturaunts, shopping, etc. Our suite had a wrap around balcony with comfy furniture and small kitchenette. I would not imagine staying anywhere else with the top notch service, location and beauty of this location. Don’t miss an opportunity to stay here😁

There was absolutely nothing to dislike!

We had a wonderful stay in Positano, and a big part of that was thanks to Cristina. She was incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating—she truly made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location of the hotel was perfect—just a short walk to the beach, shops, and great restaurants. Our room had a breathtaking view of the ocean, which made our stay even more special. Thank you for such a memorable experience. We can’t wait to come back!

The staff were very friendly and helpful! The location was amazing, close to everything and in the middle of the centre. The room was clean and it was cleaned every day with the towels changed.

The TV in our room wasn’t working initially, but we called the girl on the reception and she immediately came up to the room to sort it out. It took some minutes but the fact that she was kind and helpful was positive. The bed was a little uncomfortable and the room was a little bit small, not making it easy to move, i understand that was the room booked based on the booking but in relation to what the price is considering is a 4 star hotel a slightly bigger room would be nice. Based on the prices in positano though it made sense.

Cristiana, demetri, and all others on staff were amazingly helpful and gracious. The hotel was immaculate, in a perfect location for us- in the heart of everything and didn’t have to climb endless stairs to get there. This hotel was perfect. I don’t think I would stay anywhere else! The first night there was a concert we enjoyed from our balcony. Hardly wanted to leave for dinner!

Nothing to not like

The location is fantastic! 2 minutes walk to the beach, next to a beautiful church, all shops are close by, so are restaurants, bakeries and grocery stores. We did many day trips and while cars can’t come up to the location , pick up and drops are 5 minutes away. We are a family of 3 and stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment which came with a kitchenette and 3 bathrooms (rare to find) and a fabulous view from the balcony. The accommodation was super comfortable and clean. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Loved every minute of it!

Nothing! It was perfect

For starters, Christina was amazing! She made the trip. The property is a true gem. Incredible location, does not get better. If you have the opportunity to book the top level suite, please do! It will not disappoint. The most incredible view. If you need any help booking anything at all, Christina is amongst the best in hospitality on the Amalfi Coast, and I have stayed many places. I will be back! Thank you for everything!!

This is a beautiful hotel with an excellent staff. Location is perfect, in my opinion, because you can walk up the hill into Positano in the morning and then walk back down when you are finished doing what you are doing. For me, I would not want to have to walk up the hill after a long day. Oh, and the view from our balcony was fantastic. We loved looking at the sea in the morning with our coffee and also, the church piazza just below. 5 Stars plus
