Wow ! This hotel is right in the center of positano where all the major shopping stores are. It was a quick walk down to the beach as well . Carla the host was very welcoming and sweet . She was at the hotel every morning with breakfast ready. Sitting outside on the Terrance with our breakfast staring at the views will be a memory I hold forever . Carla helped us get a private driver to and from the airport which was such a big help . I will definitely come stay again in the future .

I loved everything. The only thing I would say is a bigger shower in the bathroom.

Awesome location with a stunning view right in the middle of Positano, very hospitable services by Carla. Clean and comfortable room with excellent heating!

The only drawbacks were the season and the weather. I went 1/9-1/13 deliberately to avoid the crowd, crossing the weekend right after the New Years only to find many locals still on holiday with most shops closed. Except for the first day the entire trip was rainy and grey, so the Amalfi coastal sceneries looked nothing like IG/YouTube, just empty narrow brownish grey streets with very few shops of lemon goodies or leather products opening sparingly here and there. I went to Capri on the first day when the weather was good, even then the famous Blue Grotto was closed. I was told the best months to go are March/April and October/November.

Absolutely amazing property with stunning views of the hillside, Positano town and the sea. The Villa was very comfortable, clean and safe. It is located very close to the main streets of Positano and very easily accessible. The towns of Amalfi and Ravello are very close and only a short drive away. The person managing the property, Carla, was very friendly, professional and helpful! We would absolutely recommend this to anyone planning to visit the Amalfi coast!

Carla was very communicative even before we checked in. She arranged transfers for us, and allowed us to relax while waiting for our transfer to leave. Breakfast was light and good, and the view was out of this world. Very centrally located.

I wish there was help in order to carry luggage. I was prepared for steps, and we only brought carry ons but I’ve noticed that unlike in Greece, where we spent the rest of our honeymoon, Italian hotels in general didn’t necessarily help a ton with luggage. Maybe we were spoiled in Greece, and it didn’t detract from our stay at all. But would be a nice addition, even one I’d pay for on the Amalfi coast.

Carla is a wonderful host. Excellent communication and provided insightful details about activities in Positano. The house is very centrally located, rooms were very clean and had nice views from the window/green area outside of the room. We had the 2 bedroom unit and it was very spacious. Breakfast was wonderful. Carla baked croissant one day and they were the best I have ever had.

Limited breakfast, but what we were served fruits and pancakes were really good.No bottled water provided,however we had access to cold water from fridge tap.It would gave been good to have more ug sockets in the room.

THE GOOD - Breathtaking Views: The highlight of this place is undoubtedly the stunning views of the Positano town (10/10). I must say it's one of the best views I've ever had the pleasure of waking up to. - Convenient Location: The location is also incredibly convenient, being close to both the town's famous viewpoint and the pathway leading to the beach. - Scenic Breakfast: The morning was made even more enjoyable with a delightful breakfast served on the balcony, offering a scenic start to the day.

THE BAD: - Average Room Facilities: The room facilities were rather average. While clean and functional, I expected a bit more in terms of amenities for the price. The bathroom floor tiles were particularly slippery. The photos of a living room with a nice view were a common area living room, not part of the private space for quadruple room. - Undisclosed City Tax: There was additional city tax of 10 Euro per night, which was not disclosed during the booking process. While this is small amount, it would have been better if this information was made clear upfront. - Stairs: Villa's uphill location presented a challenge. You may need to contact the host to book a porter to carry luggage upstairs (additional charge of 10 Euro per luggage)

Villa Dalu in Positano was such an amazing stay for my husband's and I's 3rd anniversary trip! Thank you to Carla Valcaccia for being such a gracious host. Even before the trip - she was proactive in reaching out to ensure we would have the best trip. She booked multiple dinner reservations for us, provided transparent recommendations, arranged transfers, and luggage porters so we didn't have to worry about a thing! By the time we arrived in Positano, I felt I already knew her because of all the WhatsApp messages we had exchanged, and her audio notes - she sometimes would reply at 2am in the morning local time! Even for our departure she booked us a transfer to the Naples train station and a stop to Pompeii (which absolutely is worth the visit by the way!) Each morning - she served up a delightful breakfast with the best pastries. I asked her one day where she bought them, and to my surprise she made them all from scratch! So in Carla you get a wonderful, warm Villa Manager, essentially a full service travel agency and a talented baker - you can't top that! The views from the Villa itself cannot be beat - our last night we drank a bottle of prosecco just admiring the views. It is centrally located, we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go to and enjoyed the AC (lol) whenever we needed a break from the heat. And to be honest, I am typically a dedicated lover of hotels, with the concierge and amenities but, had a little sticker shock when I saw the prices of some hotels were per night . With that said, I went searching for alternative options and came across Villa Dalu on booking . com and I am so glad I did! We would not hesitate to stay here again and believe the combination of Carla's expertise, and graciousness with the views and location of Villa Dalu far exceed any expectations!

Lovely welcoming hosts, we stayed for a few days here as one of our destinations travelling Italy for our honeymoon. The location is fantastic! The road it is on has beautiful sunset view restaurants only a minute away all along the road, or alternatively you can go right out of the villa and down the steps straight into the town. Hosts, locations all fantastic. Coffee, cereal and a pastry for breakfast. Iron, hairdryer available, clean air-conditioned room with fridge. Would definitely stay here again if we were to return.

Can't think of any negatives for this apartment. Our stay was great!

We had an amazing stay at Villa Dalu ! Sadly I broke my ankle on the first day and need surgery but Carla Valcaccia wouldn’t let that ruin our vacation. She set us up with an amazing driver who even gave me her crutches! Carla made us the most delicious breakfast each morning, made sure we had everything we needed, and kept arranging porters and drivers for us throughout our trip. She even found us a fantastic cooking class close to the hotel, dropped us off and made arrangements for us to have a driver pick us up. I can’t say enough about how wonderful she was. We feel completely blessed that she went above and beyond for us ! If you are looking for a quaint place to stay with a beautiful view and an amazing hostess this is the place!
