The receptionist namely Margherita and Angela were super nice, and their assistant Antonio was also very helpful with our lugagges. The view from our balcony was incredible. Our room was pretty big, beautiful, complete equipped with a kettel, fridge, and coffee maker. The bathroom, which was my favourite, was gorgeous. Location was perfect that we did not go through stairs a lot and can still have fantastic Positano view :D

We could still hear neighbour while they were walking and chatting through corridor in the evening.

The property is in the heart of the main street of Positano. With the great view, we felt lucky to be staying there. Sometimes we would people watch at the long queue of the bar downstairs thinking good thing we don’t have to do that coz we can just enjoy drinks with the same view right at the privacy of our balcony. 😊

No option for breakfast included but they have more than made up for it in providing snacks and your own coffee and tea maker in the room.

Stairs. They were providing nice breakfast to the rooms in the past (if you read previous reviews, you will see) but they removed it now.

The staff, pre-check in communication, check in and throughout the stay, were incredibl friendly. They moved our luggage for us, arranged luggage transfers to the port and were genuinely the nicest people who couldn't do enough for you. Thank you for being so lovely. Amazing apartment - the apartment was huge, very clean and had the most amazing views. The beds were so well dressed and extremely comfortable, the kicthen was small but had everything you needed. There was even a washing machine for those staying longer and an iron and ironing board. The balcony around the whole apartment was beautiful and large. The bathrooms had the most beautiful Carthusia The Scents of Capri hand wash etc - that smelt amazing. The outside area was incredible and we used the sofa and sun loungers.

If I was being picky, the fridge was noisy and there were a couple of lose tiles. But these things did not detract at all from the amazing apartment.

The most beautiful accomodation we stayed in all of Italy! Such a perfect location, close to everywhere you want to be in Positano and not too high up but still with a breathtaking view. Opposite Franco's bar and neighbouring all the famous Positano hotels that are so much more expensive. The staff were amazing and so kind, they had excellent customer service and went above and beyond for us guests. Would definitely come back to Alcione Residence in a heartbeat and will recommend many of my friends/family to stay here for their future holidays too! Grazie mille! 🇮🇹❤️

Great location and view! Large, clean room with a small deck overlooking the harbor. Friendly person at front desk.

The listing said breakfast included. Be aware, Breakfast is not included! (I guess a pre-packaged soft croissant and coffee maker is considered breakfast) You have to go shopping in the market or find a restaurant that serves breakfast. The nearby restaurants only serve breakfast to their hotel guests. The staff/ room guide does not have any suggestions as to where you can get breakfast. HUGE heads up: NO elevator!!! Our room was 3 stories up a narrow, winding staircase. They did have someone to take our suitcases up but we had to request help for when we left.

We had the junior suite with the terrace and it was EXCEPTIONAL! This room hands down had the best view in Positano! The room was very spacious as well. It was the perfect place to propose to my partner with the help of the amazing staff at Alcione - massive thank you to Margherita. She made planning this surprise proposal so seamless, she was very efficient, replied very quickly to my messages on booking.com/whatsapp and we had zero communication issues. She went above and beyond to recommend a photographer which made things easier for me as I was unfamiliar with the area (Paola - the Positano Photographer, she was amazing!) The staff also helped arrange decorations with the florist which was beauitful. Thank you so much!

Location was perfect. Lovely restaurants, supermarket and shops all within a short distance. Ristorante Bruno was my favourite and Mele Pizza and Grill. Next door restaurant, Don Giovanni, was high quality but the food was not as tasty Magherita was especially helpful before and during our stay. She gave us lots of advice. Room was very spacious and clean. Difficult to suggest any improvements. Shower enclosure was brilliant! 3 showering options, one was great for a massage. It was a perfect stay for a couple celebrating a wedding anniversary. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to stay again. Best way to transfer from airport is taxi.

The property was very lovely. We booked a room with a balcony that had a stunning view. The room was very clean, with beautiful tile floors. The bed was comfortable and it was nice that the TV has Sky channels. The staff was very kind and gave us recommendations for where to explore in Positano. The location was great - not too far down toward the beach but not too far up the cliffside, so it was easy to explore in both directions without getting too tired from the hills/stairs. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

It would be lovely if they provided robes and slippers, but that’s all I can think of! Truly a great place.

There are lots of airbnb type accommodations in Italy, where you have a very limited chance to see the owner. This is a proper hotel with a reception where (almost) always we can get help. Easy to get to from the Sita bus stop. Nice sea and town view as in the photos. Large terrace with proper sunbeds. Coffee machine with enough number of pods pleased us too.

Careful when you ask a dinner place - you may get to the very (unnecessarily) fancy and pricey restaurant ;-) Otherwise, we felt all good and friendly.
