The location could not be better. Also the view from the rooms is magic. The staff was also really helpful booking us a car, a taxi back to the airport etc.

We were not informed that the hotel offers a service where they come and pick up your luggage from the port. So we had the drag our suitcases up the whole to the hill which was really exhausting. You should contact the hotel before arriving and tell them to send a car for your suitcases (if you're arriving by boat or ferry).

Super nice,caring,pleasant, friendly,helpful staff. Front desk lady ( forgot her name ) who works morning shifts welcomed us very nicely and was very kind and helpful showing us our room and throughout our stay , Same with evening shift gentlemen Mr. Simone, super nice, helpful, and pleasant, helped us very kindly with restaurant reservations and any concern we had and also same with night shift gentlemen ( can't remember his name ) he was a very nice guy as well . Last but not least, a very nice bellman who was always willing to help out. Restaurant with a SUPER view and good food and pleasant employees. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. Will definitely go back to Positano and stay at the same hotel Thank you, L'Ancora 😀

The views are breathtaking. Hotel is located just next door at Le Sirenuse. Walking distance from the Ferry station, however you have to walk uphill quite a while. Room was spacious and clean. Friendly staff.

There is no lobby in this hotel. When you come there is no place for you to sit down and rest. Also no restaurant or bar only room service. Breakfast is very limited. I would say breakfast very poor.

We literally loved everything about our stay at L‘Ancora- the location is not even a 5 min walk to the heart of Positano, the staff is really friendly and helpful plus we had the best breakfastview we could ever imagine ;) all in all price and value are fair and we can definitely recommend this place!

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Positano. Lovely staff who were very helpful and prompt with any requests - especially Simoné who was excellent. Great location only 5 minutes from the port. Room was spacious with a private balcony with sunbeds and a table and chairs. We had a room without a sea view but even without it was still lovely to spend some time there. Breakfast was delicious with a wife variety of cooked savory and sweet treats

The service was consistently excellent and our room was great, with a large balcony with sun-loungers and a jacuzzi bath in our en-suite. The breakfast view was beautiful and the coffee was very good.

Breakfast wasn't the freshest food but had a good spread and a great location. There is no parking available and there is no pool or hot tub unless you book a room with a hot tub.

The view and the room were spectacular! The location was wonderfully close to shops and anything we wanted! We loved the patio and sun room as well!

No coffee creamer in the room. When we asked for a banana as they were setting up breakfast and we were walking out for a tour, they would not give us one. Seemed like a simple request as we were guests of the hotel.

My view from the room was amazing. The location was also very good not far away from the beaches but still with a great view. The staff was very kind and friendly.

The restaurant was closed due to a technical problem. The hotel arranged for the guests to have breakfast in the terrace of our rooms which I enjoyed very much.

A fantastic location in Positano, away from the main beach area but not too far. Easy access to stairs down! The staff was AMAZING! By far the most kind and attentive hotel staff we’ve had. Breakfast was great, they cleaned twice a day.

At times, noise could travel throughout the hotel, especially with the balconies/floors above. But only really was an issue on weekend

Location was prime. We had a room with a hot tub and balcony and it was sooo worth it. Dreamy views, helpful staff, breakfast was a bit basic but did the job and was good every morning. We loved our stay and would recommend it!

Rooms could use a bit of updating but we were happy with it for the cost.
